In the eighth episode – I speak with Martin Mor, an Irish comedian (in England) who has many talents that include: juggling, knife-throwing, and of course, performing comedy all around the world. We speak of the evolution in entertainment post lock-down, ninjas, gigs on pirate ships, Vikings, and Tina Turner (you'll need to listen to the episode to unlock this adventure). With a career spanning over 30 years in entertainment, we share ideas, discuss online phenomena such as Tik Tok artists and social media; usually we always ask our guests how they overcome their Creator's Block - yet with Martin Mor he in fact teaches online courses for comedy, content creation, as well as how to hone your skills in the new multi-platforms of social media. Speaking of which: You can follow him on Twitter... You can follow him on Instagram... You can also follow his page on Facebook... You can also see him on Youtube where he has a whole Edinburgh Fringe Show... And of course, his website where you can see his upcoming tour dates... NB – Due to personal reasons Julia Felix from Freespace International was not available for recording this episode, but will be back in episode IX Insha Allah.

We catch up with the globetrotting, juggling comedian Martin Mor to discuss utility clothing, comedy reviews, testosterone and much more!
Wild man of the woods or naughty Viking uncle, Martin Mor typifies the “adventure comic”, constantly challenging and reinventing himself, with an unshakeable confidence that the world will look after him.We discover his youth - hitchhiking, busking and squatting his way round the world to a backdrop of the explosive growth in new circus and alternative comedy - and how his desire to be “a juggler without tricks” led him at last to stand-up.We also learn what charisma means, peek into his latest venture offering online mentorship to newer comics, and learn what happens when you realise you've told all your stories…Catch up with Martin:martinmor.com@MartinMorComedy@Martin_Mor_Comedymartinmorcomedy@gmail.com Everything Stu's up to:The Infinite Sofa chat show is now available as a solution to remote-working office parties over the festive period! Another of our live shows from the Edinburgh Fringe and this time Robin is chatting to Sofie Hagen and Martin Mor. They talk about Sofie writing her own book at the moment, Martin's favourite counter culture magazines of the 1980s plus dinosaur erotics, Oliver Sacks, Hunter S Thompson and plenty more. This was the first of our live shows in Edinburgh and there was a bit of an issue with the sound in the venue that wasn't fixed in time for the show. As such there's some distortion and hiss in the this episode that was cleaned up best we could but apologies for the less than ideal sound. There is a bonus twenty minutes for Patreon supporters this week. Head to patreon.com/bookshambles to support the show.
This week the comedy comes from the Riverside Theatre, Coleraine, with special guest Martin Mor. Martin comes from Coleraine and was once a circus juggler... just what is required to handle The Blame Game.
Martin Mor tells me about not being able to have the"real life". He tells me how he became a juggler to a comedian and travelling stories. We discussed about alternative comedy and recounts the exciting time and the feeling of danger in comedy club back in the 90s. He talks about putting up material on social media and meeting people on the internet. We talked about his fitness Instagram account and his Edinburgh show. 2012 #23: Rasputin Beard - Martin Mor and Ro Campbell. Richard has egg all over his trousers, but it's not the result of experimenting with sex with birds after recent cloacal revelations - he's been competing for an Edinburgh trophy at the Malcolm Hardee Awards. Has he finally won something in Edinburgh? ... No of course not. His guest is Martin 'Bigpig' Mor, an intimidating, but gentle giant and Rasputin lookalike (will he do a show about what it's like to have the same facial hair as an historical figure?) who has worked as a juggler and a knife-thrower, which proved great practice for dealing with hecklers. There is also discussion about whether the gym both men frequent is a good pick-up joint, how all art could be improved by a monkey Jesus and Rich's own first artistic commission. Did Richard get the idea to do a TV show from Stewart Lee? Is there anything that wasn't Stewart Lee's idea? With leafletting-based comedy from Ro Campbell. Only two days from the end - and the 50th RHEFP (rhefp).
Libya is on turmoil and David Cameron has to come home from another holiday, but Rich is in ebullient mood, as after today there are only 7 podcasts to go. The end is in sight, but will it keep moving further and further away like it did last year? Rich is joined by Al Murray, who today is playing his most complex and bizarre character - himself - and there's chat about the Female Eunuch, murder mimes, the spontaneous generation of the Pub Landlord character, fights between members of the cast of Time Gentleman Please as well as whether monkeys can consent to sex, the Worst Comedy Experience of 2005 and the Edinburgh based birth of Al's eldest child in 1999. Stewart Lee's name crops up a couple of times too. With stand-up from the remarkably bearded Martin Mor and an appearance from the Nirvana baby. It's one of the best shows yet.
