S4, Ep. 1 w/ special guest, all the way from Whitlawburn via Canbuslang in Glasgow, Mikey Collins aka Mikey Motion (Vibe Room Comedy) Mikey is a comedian, promoter and online entertainer from Whitlawburn, but now resides in Canbuslang in Glasgow. He first came to public attention as a DJ. He began practicing at home in 2000, and by 2005 was playing large Hardcore raves and festivals all over the UK, Europe and further afield. He has been making videos, mainly to entertain fans of his music, since 2007 but in 2018, he began to study comedy under Scotland's most respected teacher of the craft, Viv Gee. The Ultra course she was running culminated in a gig at the prestigious Glee club in Glasgow. This led to him appearing more regularly at open spot and dedicated comedy nights and the birth of his own night, Laugh or Cry, at the Classic Grand. Featuring up and coming acts and more established nanes from the comedy scene, it had to take a break in March 2020 for obvious reasons. Although Lockdown slowed his meteoric rise, like it did the rest of us, he's come out of it swinging. First co-organising an outdoor festival style gig with Twisted that took place in Queens Park featuring the very best of Scottish comedians. He has since been appearing all over Scotland at a variety of comedy night, and performed a number of shows to sold out audiences at this year's Edinburgh Fringe. In October, he will be launching Glasgow's hottest new Comedy Club, The Vibe Room at Time in Maxwell St, near St. Enoch Square. Join us as we chat about Comedy, Lockdown, The Fringe and how a three month Ramadan is sometimes the only antidote to a hardcore fast food addiction.

Jamie is a comedian who in his spare time likes to drive buses, 40 hours a week, around Glasgow. His comedy revolves around stories from the buses and also some insights into fatherhood. During lockdown he began the world's longest running Hangman streaming service. Hangman Live! has since amassed over 250 online episodes and is now heading towards it 1st live show. He also runs a comedy night out of his hometown of Renfrew which has been a huge success amongst the comedians and the audience. Graeme is a comedian from Dalgety Bay in Fife who's been performing since 2014 and has appeared in shows across Scotland. In 2017 he began running his own comedy night in Dunfermline called Bad Apple Comedy. The night ran for several years before covid brought it all to a screeching halt. Before the Pandemic, Bad Apple saw some of the best acts that the Scottish comedy scene has to offer and provided some very memorable moments for the people of Dunfermline. Graeme is currently living in the Scottish Borders with his fiancée and a small husky, he enjoys reading, the music of David Hasselhoff and long walks on the beach. From there he through himself into the London scene including performances at Downstairs at the Kings Head and Angel Comedy. He straddles Merseyside wit with urban observations and anecdotes about his latest reality TV binge watch. In lockdown he set up international Zoom show Rollercoaster Comedy which he hosts establishing a growing loyal following. In April he launched the Dog On The Pitch Podcast where he chats to comedians about their experiences and escapades following their favourite footy team. Kat has been in the entertainment industry for a number of years and also runs a local charity called Community spirit. She is involved with many other charity's and is always on hand to help tackle loneliness and isolation, even delivering hot meals and shopping daily to the community. During lockdown she has provided entertainment online in the form of music quizzes & bingo, which she held in her driveway, every Thursday, throughout 'Clap for Carers'. Group members and charity volunteers come along to her street for some (socially distanced) dancing and a good old time. Kat is all about bringing people together, especially in such stressful times. Rob is an illustrator, radio presenter, comedian and promoter and founded one of the longest running comedy gigs in Scotland: Raw Guffaw in Dumfries back in 2013. He admits to taking the same influences in each avenue, from anywhere and everywhere. With his music he likes and plays everything from 80's synthpop to Scandanavian progressive death metal except reggae - because wtf is reggae? Duante runs SuitMan Productions from his native city, Seattle, W.A., and his first original show idea Deaf Comedy Jam was inspired by his own hearing loss. Deaf Comedy Jam offers a show that unites both the hearing and non-hearing communities. A staple of the Annual Northwest Black Comedy Festival for 2 years, where he was awarded “Best Podcast” of this year. Places like Laugh Comedy Club's Laugh Off, Jai Thai's Comedy Clash & a number of pacific northwest artists know his influences and creativity of production. All of this while being HOH and having had surgery on his left ear to restore about 40-50% of his hearing. SuitMan production is more than an entertainment company. It is a platform to give light to artists who need opportunity in a safe forum. His newest project Beautiful Minds: The Autastic Artists podcast highlights entertainers and artists on the spectrum. As a producer, Suitman has hosted a different monthly showcase at Columbia City Theater that inspired diversity in the comedy scene as well as an open mic and his Opencase show offered a showcase oj local talent at locations in the Seattle area. Deaf Comedy Jam, Dark Brew, Mixed N Misidentified, Santa's Naughty List, Cupid's Rejects, Holiday Momedy and Give Love Laugh were all performed live. Ballard Brother's, Player's Club Bar, Cafe Red and The Palace Theater were all locations that SuitMan Productions put on shows from. Since the Pandemic, SuitMan Productions has expanded their reach with comics from all over the world on their current online shows.
