Hopefully, we've had our chance to put the Mayweather-MacGregor fight to bed. We give our opinions on the outcome and the real win that MacGregor had in the fight. We also go over the recent UFC Fight NIght in Rotterdam and the upcoming UFC 215. Earlier in the day, I had also taken to Twitter to get a fight and apparently it ruffled some feathers. It seems to have worked and by the next episode, I should hopefully have more details on my next fight.
I’m fasting and out of my mind! Eddie’s dad sits in briefly to talk about Mayweather/MacGregor and Beep Ribs! Plus I have a weird run-in with a cop, kids in high school are sad, my son’s school is accidentally racist, shoutout to bzrkaudio.com and Taylor Swift’s new song stinks (and her UPS partnership is complete crap). Plus lots of great bachelor party stories (strippers, squirting, passing out, etc.), softcore porn and shoutout to www.thewatchandtalk.com, I was on this week to talk about Game of Thrones. Make sure you hit up our subreddit at www.reddit.com/r/saveitfortheshow and store.saveitfortheshow.com.

Apparently, there’s a rat that has been sending Nina messages over social media while she’s on vacation in Europe. In the audio she sent Shoboy & Majestik, she called them ‘rude’ and said that while the boys are creating ‘drama’ about her, she’s enjoying life and eating figs from trees. The drama continues. While Nina is still on vacation this weekend, the boys have big plans of their own. Shoboy is going to one of the most epic house/bbq/pool parties of the year to watch the Mayweather-MacGregor fight. Majestik vows to stay sober because he’s taking it back to his hometown of Jersey City to focus on apartment hunting this weekend. Two listeners went on a blind radio speed-date in ‘Hookup Hotline’ and one of the weirdest questions we’ve ever heard was asked. Shawn from Hollis questioned Maria about how she handled passing gas in front of her exes! Listen to entire speed date and more here.

Is there really a Chik-Fil-A going into Mercedes-Benz Stadium? And can you really NOT eat there on Sundays? Thanks, J. Bliss for that breaking news. Whatever, Chik-Fil-A. In a slow sports week, Chris deLambert, Brandon, Atkins, Professor Trent Nichols, and Diamond Dave Caplan manage to fill a show with 87% athletics. Or something like that. Lots of golf, some Little League, Mayweather/MacGregor, NBA Jam, Vanilla Ice, and a little too much analysis of Chris and Brandon's fantasy football draft. Dave is drinking Finland's biggest Negroni, Mikal is waylaid in Costco, and Mike and Simon are more or less regular. FOR NO GOOD REASON we critique academic residencies from the right and ourselves from the left, but as is GOOD AND PURE we can only be ourselves, so we pass the time CRAPPING OUR PANTS about underwater welding, coral reef poetry, curling, and Mölkky, which means we are BOUND BY LAW to reflect on the relationship between DEEP PERSONAL SHAME and FROZEN YOGURT. After that--and only because of some TRULY DRACONIAN LABOR LAWS--we grin and bear it through the tediousness of the ESPYs, the Mayweather/MacGregor press tour hellscape, the moral difficulty of googling female tennis stars, Wimbledon specifically and in general, and Lonzo Ball.
Drew and Marchman RETURN to stage a formal reading of the annual name bracket, plus truthers, Mayweather/MacGregor, your questions, and more!
