What happens before the Last Days? Any study of Revelation takes us forward into the future, all the way out to the end of Gentile history. And that calls for a study of the book of Daniel, and of Jesus' words on the subject. When you hear these trumpets, it's too late! We get the sense, reading Revelation, that God isn't commanding new judgments to fall on the Earth; we don't hear Him pronouncing them. Instead, the punishment for man's rebellion has been "stored up," and is now being released, in stages.
