Inmiddels weet je dat er na je vijftigste andere spelregels gelden voor je eetgedrag. En dat komt omdat na je vijftigste je lichaam overschakelt op een totaal nieuw systeem. En dus ook op een totaal andere manier gaat werken. Het heeft een heel andere aansturing nodig dan daarvoor. En bij die nieuwe aansturing horen ook nieuwe spelregels. Na de overgang nemen drie andere masterhormonen de taken over van oestrogeen en progesteron. Namelijk het stresshormoon Cortisol, het krachthormoon Insuline en het knuffelhormoon Oxytocine. Ik noem het ook wel de drie S-en. Minder stress, minder suiker en meer seks. Die masterhormonen dat is iets waar bijna niemand het over heeft. Maar ze zijn de nummer één factor die het verschil maakt tussen gezond en vol energie oud worden of veel te jong met allerlei gebreken achter de rollator eindigen. Wanneer je dus fit en vitaal en energiek wilt blijven tot op hoge leeftijd, dan wil je die masterhormonen, die drie diva's, te vriend houden. En dat doe je door te gaan eten als een vrouw én door te gaan leven als een vrouw. Je zult jezelf zowel fysiek als mentaal emotioneel moeten gaan voeden op de vrouwelijke manier. Fysiek, door te gaan eten als een vrouw, volgens de nieuwe Self Care spelregels voor vrouwen 50+ en mentaal-emotioneel door te gaan leven als een vrouw volgens de nieuwe life style spelregels voor vrouwen 50+. Daarbij is het belangrijk dat je altijd begint met de basis en dat is je lichaam weer in balans brengen. In de Feminine Way of Eating beginnen we daarom met EET als een vrouw. Even een kleine melding; luister deze podcast niet met kleine kinderen ivm het grote sint geheim. Ze zou een weekje blijven, maar 10 jaar later staat ze nog steeds aan het roer van 1 van de aller mooiste stichtingen ter wereld; Because we Carry. Wat een insane powervrouw is Steffi, ze plofte op de bank met haar mooie verhaal en dat ging diep. Heel diep. Want daar waar Steffi een groot hart heeft voor moeders en kinderen die het zelf niet redden, is haar eigen hart op dit moment compleet gebroken. Een maand geleden kwam Steffi er ineens alleen voor te staan. Het verdriet is heel vers, heel rauw en wij mochten er een stukje van horen. Het liefst wil ze als een zeester in bed gaan liggen, maar dat gaat natuurlijk niet met drie kinderen. Zelfs in haar diepe verdriet komt ze NOG met de mooiste wijsheden. Onze Nederlandse politici willen dolgraag de mooiste en de braafste uithangen, om zo de bewondering van andere landen af te dwingen. Maar voor die ijdeltuiterij van politici, ambtenaren en diplomaten betalen de burgers de prijs, zegt SYP WYNIA in dit gesprek met PIM VAN GALEN. Jarenlang deden Nederlandse politici een wedstrijdje wie de meeste ontwikkelingshulp gaf, gefinancierd door de belastingbetaler. Nederland moest in de jaren 2010-2015 de broekriem aanhalen – met grote economische schade tot gevolg – omdat onze politici anders in Brussel gehoond zouden worden omdat ze anderen steeds de maat hadden genomen met hun begrotingstekorten. Koploper, aanjager… Het speelt ook weer bij deze kabinetsformatie. Nederland betaalt een hoge prijs voor de peperdure èn mislukte ambitie (sinds 2017) om ‘klimaatkoploper' te willen zijn, met koopkrachtverlies en economische schade tot gevolg. Nederland betaalt een hoge prijs voor de pretentie (sinds eind 2022) om ‘aanjager' te willen zijn door miljarden per jaar uit te geven voor Oekraïne. Hoe sympathiek ook: waarom juist wij? Nederland is stikstofkampioen van de wereld, niemand is zo streng - met stagnerende bouw en andere economische schade tot gevolg. Logischerwijs is nu het geld op – en nu wil voormalig begrotingskampioen Nederland juist meer uitgeven dan van Brussel mag. Alleen bij migratie niet. Kunnen ze over hun eigen schaduw heen springen? Het is twijfelachtig. Op één punt is Nederland bepaald géén Gidsland: immigratie en asiel. Het volste land van Europa groeit dicht door problemen die samenhangen met ongeremde immigratie. Juist daar blijken D66 en CDA tot dusver niet erg geneigd om van Nederland een voorbeeldland te maken, terwijl de meeste burgers dat juist graag zouden zien. De buurlanden doen het beter. We lopen dus voorop als het ons schaadt en blijven juiust achter als we er van zouden opknappen om koploper te zijn. Zijn D66 en CDA de juiste partijen om een regeerakkoord te schrijven dat ons van die deugreflex afhelpt? De vraag stellen is die beantwoorden. Uit het Kamerdebat daarover werd verrassend veel helder, al werd dat nogal overschaduwd door de lotgevallen van informateur Hans Wijers. Jaap Jansen en PG Kroeger bespreken hoe het Koolmees lukte een weg te banen en wat er nu gaat gebeuren. Het einddoel noemde hij 'een stabiel kabinet', 'keuzes en oplossingen verhelderen' en 'tempo maken'. Hij legde Dilan Yesilgöz fijntjes uit waar zij mis zat en waarom zijn conclusie - D66 en CDA samen aan de slag - lucide was. Dat de Kamer elke motie afwees die zijn werk wilde amenderen, wijst erop dat hij blijkbaar had overtuigd. Hij noemde de beoogde uitkomst een 'pacificatie' bij de grote, hardnekkige politieke dilemma's die politiek en bestuur al jaren verlammen. Rob Jetten moet een Pieter Cort van der Linden worden, is de niet geringe uitdaging door de verkenner. De D66-leider gaf met CDA-voorman Henri Bontenbal aan dit aan te durven. Juist ook omdát ze ideologisch duidelijk verschillen. De VVD moest meemaken dat ze met lege handen en gemarginaliseerd langs de zijlijn is gezet. Bovendien met het risico dat in de informatiefase de wrakstukken van de Schoof-coalitie finaal exploderen. Een onbeheerste eruptie van Caroline van der Plas maakte dit onverwacht voelbaar. Opmerkelijk was hoe Jesse Klaver zich vlekkeloos gouvernementeel opstelde en hoe Bontenbal een draai om de oren van Koolmees braaf incasseerde. Hij kreeg immers op zijn profiel van 'democratisch ethos' en 'betere politieke cultuur' volledig zijn zin van Koolmees. De onderhandelaars van D66 en CDA kunnen aan de slag. Inhoud voorop bij grote thema's en grote lijnen ook van begrotingsbeleid en lange-termijn investeringen. Heel belangrijk is daarbij een klein zinnetje over 'de uitgangspunten voor de vorming van een kabinet'. Want daarin ligt besloten hoe wel degelijk nog voor kerstmis een kabinet op het bordes zou kunnen staan. De rol van informateur Buma wordt daarmee essentieel. D66 moet slikken dat partner CDA onverwacht het hele proces kan sturen en domineren. Al direct bij aantreden gaf de oud CDA-leider zijn visitekaartje af als wetgevingskenner en man van het openbaar bestuur. Hij benadrukte dat de agenda van D66 en CDA direct kritisch getoetst moet worden op uitvoerbaarheid. Buma is trouwens niet typisch iemand van 'het nieuwe CDA van Bontenbal'. Hij is als Fries aristocraat en burgemeester een man van 'de regio'. Het geheim van zijn aanpak? Zijn fameuze 'Bumor'. Een Brits soort ironie die zo droog is dat je er het beste iets bij kan drinken. Niettemin is het jammer dat Wijers het veld moest ruimen.
