Who's ready to get weird? Like...uncomfortably weird. In the final episode of The Apostate Peter Ruckman we get into the pettiness of bible believers and the biblical evidence of aliens, UFOs, alien-government conspiracies, lizard people, and how Ruckmanism is but one example of religious fascism that has crept upon us for over half a century. Super fun stuff. Wouldn't it be neat if you could justify all your prejudices by interpreting the Bible however you wanted and then saying that it's the inerrant word of God? If you're Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, that Bible is the King James Version, aka A.V. 1611, and your interpretation will come to be known as Ruckmanism. The souls you save, should they cling to your teachings, will become Ruckmanites. As far as cults go, Ruckmanism is as close as you can get to a cult without renouncing your worldly possessions and turning over your bank information. Though Ruckman died in 2016, the teachings of Ruckmanism remain relevant to certain Bible-believing Christians who adhere to King James Onlyism. Dr. Ruckman was a viciously smart preacher who could read upwards of 700 words a minute and re-read the bible dozens of times a year. One of the core tenets of Ruckmanism is that the original King James Bible was divinely inspired to the point that it is more accurate than the Greek texts from which it was translated, which is a bridge too far even for many Christian literalists. Dr. Ruckman was also a vicious drunk, womanizer, domestic abuser, and racist. Through Ruckman's interpretation of the Bible, Black Americans were meant to be subservient, the Jews were meant to serve as a sacrifice for the second coming of Jesus, and Catholicism was a satanic cult. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/uftp/message

There's also those several times he assaulted a priest, hit his wife, and began hearing voices just like his brother Johnny. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/uftp/message

On this episode, Sadie and Gavi take a deep dive into fundamentalist hate preacher Peter Ruckman, his bizarre autobiography, his multiple marriages, and his theology, which was extreme even for IFB standards. Sources for this episode are available here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/sources-for-4-24-81931295TW: In general we talk about a lot of potentially triggering topics on this show, including but not limited to suicide and mental health, racism, misogyny, PTSD and PTSD symptoms, child abuse, mental, physical, and sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse including guilt, shame, and fear. In most episodes we'll mention at least a few of these topics, but we try very hard to avoid graphic detail unless it's relevant to the story we're telling, and we do our best to give the audience a heads-up before going into detail on any of these topics. This episode will contain SO MUCH RACISM. Most of the time, I've chosen not to include direct quotes, because it's honestly that bad. There's one section where I'm going to read some lightly censored quotes, and I'll give you the heads up before I do. There's also some generalized misogyny, victim blaming of ex-wives, and Ruckman describes two different suicide attempts very callously. We won't read his exact words to attempt to mitigate harm for listeners. Revered pastor Charles Stanley died a few weeks ago, and we witnessed an outpouring of love and affection for him for his long years of faithful service with his In Touch Ministries. When I first got saved I would listen to his broadcasts, but found them to be more motivational than instructive., and soon moved on to the ‘stronger meat' of people like Clarence Larkin and Peter Ruckman. Charles Stanley was right on his stance on homosexuality, a stance that his son Andy has chosen to not follow. In fact, wolf in sheep's clothing Andy Stanley is right now hard at work remaking the Church to be LGBTQ-affirming. On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, the biggest single issue face the Church, the body of Christ, in our day is where do you stand on the LGBTQIA+P for Pedophile Movement. Should they be welcomed into the Church with open arms? There is no bigger question than this, hands down, bar none. But your King James Bible has a ‘spoiler alert' when it tells you in Luke 17:28 how the Church is going to ‘vote' on LGBTQ rights and practices. Enter Andy Stanley, the ‘man of the hour' raised up by Satan himself to lead the charge into the abyss. As of this writing, Andy Stanley and his vast Laodicean empire wields amazing power and influence over evangelism due to the massive size of his congregation, and the concomitant truckloads of money such a large following brings. Andy gives you just enough Bible to make you think he's teaching you scripture, and then walks you down the primrose path into spiritual oblivion. On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, we are calling you to leave the Laodicean Church as it begins its nosedive straight into the ground. Listen! Someone is knocking on the door, and is inviting you to sup with Him. Now go open that door and let Him in.

As we wind down the year, Jeff and Brett take some time to discuss some of the history of this show and their identity. Some would label us as Ruckmanites. What is that? Who was Peter Ruckman and why do we refer to him and his teaching so often on this show? The label is often used to discredit a man, albeit flawed as we all are, that was greatly used of God to champion the cause of the word of God and its perfect preservation in the King James English Bible. It is also used to discredit anyone who believes the things that he was known to believe and teach.  Theology Roundtable is a podcast hosted by Pastors Jeff Bartell, Troy Stogsdill, and Brett Bartlett. On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are taking heresies actively being taught across professing Christendom in our day, exposing them for the false teachings that they are, and rebuking those same teachings with the infallible word of God as found in your King James Bible. I've been saved for the past 32 years, but for the first two and one half of those years, I was snared in the cult of false teacher Harold Camping from Family Radio in California. But the Lord busted me out, and sent in faithful teachers of the word like Clarence Larkin, Peter Ruckman and others to teach me rightly divided Bible doctrine and dispensational truth. On this edition of Rightly Dividing, we are not only correcting grievous error, but showing you the biblical method of how to do do it for yourself, so you won't be fooled in the future! Today I watched an astonishing video from end times heretic Paula White and a man by the name of Larry Huch, and in this video was some incredible things even for people who make their luxurious living through deceiving God's people. This video had not one, not two, not three, but more than a half dozen heresies and false teachings jammed into the space of just a few, short minutes. After I was done getting mad, and then posting it to our YouTube channel, the Holy Spirit said it would make a great Bible study. Indeed it will!
