Ever find yourself holding onto a grudge longer than you should? Maybe it's the coworker who undercuts you, the friend who ghosts you, or that family member who never lets things go. In this week's message, Pastor Peter dives into what it really means to live in step with the Holy Spirit—and how we move from bitterness to freedom. Drawing from Galatians 5, we explore how the Fruit of the Spirit—specifically patience, kindness, and gentleness—can help us release grudges and embrace grace. Because let's be honest: You can't grow a grudge and the Fruit of the Spirit at the same time. From airplane clappers and parenting moments to swaddled babies and viral Chick-fil-A notes, this message is honest, funny, and packed with truth that meets you right where you are.
Pastor Peter takes us through Acts 25 and the story of Paul speaking before the leaders of his day.
Sermon for June 29, 2025 | Preaching text: Luke 9:51-62
In this insightful message, Pastor Peter delves into the profound truth of 1 Corinthians 3:16, emphasizing that "you are the temple where God's spirit dwells", clarifying that "you" is plural, meaning "y'all" – the church collectively. He explains that God's Spirit is actively "at work," "powerful," and "very productive on the mission of God," likening His work to a "construction project" building lives, families, and communities into a temple for His presence. While God's Spirit is unseen and prepares us, God's tangible "presence" is when "God appears, when God shows up, when God's power is on display". The church's journey is a progression from being God's "field" to His "building" and finally to His "temple". Paul's letter to Corinth urges the church to stop "tearing each other apart" and instead engage in "edification," a "construction word" meaning "to build up one another," promoting unity, purity, and maturity. Everyone is called to be a "fellow worker" with God, actively participating in this building, with Jesus Christ as the only foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11), knowing their "labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15) as they collaborate on an eternal temple.

Sermon for June 15, 2025 | Preaching text: John 16:12-15

The story of the paralyzed man from Mark 2 was a reminder not to let anything stop you from getting to Jesus.

In Week 2 of our Built to Last series, Pastor Peter unpacks a powerful teaching from 1 Corinthians 8 about how to respond when our freedom collides with someone else's faith. In a world where it's easy to live offended, we're called to something greater — to choose influence over offense, and love over being right. This message will challenge you to: Build people up, not stir them up Choose purpose over preference Let brokenness break your heart, not spark your anger Discover how the way you treat people today can shape the legacy you leave tomorrow. Let's be a church that builds bridges, not walls — and lives that truly last.

Today, we kick off our new series, Built to Last, by asking one of life's biggest questions: "What am I here for?"Pastor Peter takes us through the story of Moses in Exodus 3 to show how God uses burning bush moments to grab our attention, reveal His purpose, and set our hearts on fire for Him.Whether you feel too young, too old, or too ordinary, God has a divine calling for your life — and it starts by slowing down, paying attention, and saying "yes" to Him.x

Pastor Peter leads a group discussion on the power of prayer and how we as believers can benefit from making prayer a lifestyle.
