Now that Mezzinio's missing leg has been replaced, the crew plans their next move. For Bugbear, its simple: Get contact with his brother so they can work with the four horsemen. For the rest, greed and self preservation may take them on a different course. First though, a clandestine meeting with the Tiger Claws' benefactor... The Garage Hour: home of microaggressions (plus the other kind) - your favorite gearhead goons got lost in the good stuff (Collegiate Mountains above Salida, Poncha Springs, Buena Vista and St. Elmo) and their trucks will never be the same. Cohosts White Mark the Diversity Hire and the Walkin' Dude came along, and dragged FOB cohosts Papa Smurf and Mike the Gimp along for the fracas. Trails? Tomichi Pass and Hancock Pass (so many rocks), the Bonanza Mine complex (so many options), Mt. Antero (so many feet above sea level), Taylor Mountain (so many llamas), and Billings Lake (so many free beers)... On the way up and down, new Ineos Grenaders were dropped on old rocks, old 4Runners climbed some new obstacles, an Extreme Outback toolbox compressor got a cohosting credit, and an e-Jeep almost drove itself off a cliff. See more at "JFSummit3" on Instaspam. Along the way, many sidelong awesomes occurred: Sammy Davis Jr. and the "Cannonball Run", Charlie Daniels and the Beau Weevils, illegal ham and some Bad Fangs, a sweet StayinSalida rental won the cabin versus tent argument, and somebody decided to buy some new shocks.

We'd love to hear from you! Please send us a Text Message!I discovered a song I had written 4 or five decades ago. It was a response to a very bad habit that I had fallen into in life. The song was written and performed in my living room studio and was a one take … this means that I sang and played it one time in the recording process. It was an imperfect performance, but, for me, it was a powerful reaction to a profound turning point in my life. It touched me very deeply to hear the depth of emotion contained in this one take. I loved the song and decided to re-record it. As it was , in several tries I could not match the depth of the song sung by the much younger me. So I used the original Guitar/Vocal mixed track and added an orchestration to it in my studio – a duet performed by the two Mes – young and old.Theater of the Imagination is presented by Watchfire Music: https://watchfiremusic.com/Updated Watchfire Music Commercial
Alice checks in from NYC, where she's frothing the birthplace of Pilates and accidentally joined a circus disguised as a track session (yes, there was a man planking with a TV on his head). She's also signed herself up for another relay - Hood to Coast - because apparently she's a “relay girl” now. Back home, Elise is out of the treadmill cave and back running with her kelpie Joey — who's on her own fitness comeback. With the New York Marathon looming, Elise is embracing the “undercooked but on the start line” approach (with a side of Aperol spritz in Italy). Expect rat tattoos, wine-tasting marathons, border security cheese smuggling and plenty of chat about how to get marathon-ready without breaking yourself. -- This episode is sponsored by Mikro Coffee Roasters. Hey everyone and welcome back to Walkin' on the Wild Side! We finish up our three part series on the local legends of South Carolina with one of Gabrielle's favorite legends of the Lowcountry, the Gray Man. This legend is a prognosticator of hurricanes and landfall, often protecting the person and property he reveals himself to. The legend started in the 1800's in Pawley's Island, SC and has persisted to this day. There are different versions, but all have a similar outcome. A person sees a gray man in an overcoat and hat, he warns them to flee the impending storm, and their homes are spared, even when everything around them is devastated. Join Gabrielle and I in Pawley's Island, close to where the legend was born, and then join us for dinner as we talk to a local young man, Chandler, who happened to be our waiter at the amazing Rustic Table restaurant. We hope you enjoy this episode and here's a few websites to learn more about this legend of the Lowcountry:https://wkml.com/2024/08/21/the-mysterious-legend-of-the-gray-man-ghost-in-south-carolina/https://pawleysvacationrentals.com/the-grey-man/https://southcarolinaparks.com/huntington-beachhttps://hammockshops.com/Awesome restaurant featuring our waiter, Chandler!https://www.rustictable.com/Interested in having Marvin and Gabrielle speak at your event? On a jam-packed episode of Maximum Utcast, we're talking all about wrestling, from the passing of Hulk Hogan to his star making role in the TV show Thunder in Paradise (that coincidentally was adapted into a kusoge, Thunder in Paradise Interactive). Later, Jonathan talks to Sarah Carapace about her time spent heavily customizing the game WWE 2K19 to make it a full of ladies and extremely lesbian-centric. Rounding out the show, Zoey talks about her time customizing characters in wrestling games, and throughout the episode, watch out for that 24 inch python!0:00:00 - The Three Issues Affecting the Youth0:05:49 - Maximum Outkast?0:07:21 - Kusoge: Thunder in Paradise Interactive0:33:31 - The Cool, Tough Gals of WWE 2K191:11:37 - Fun with Custom Characters1:22:00 - Wrap Up/Plugs/Thanks Patrons!1:25:28 - Walkin', Talkin' PenisFollow Sarah Carapace on Bluesky:https://bsky.app/profile/sarahcarapace.bsky.socialFollow Zoey on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/adzuken.bsky.socialFollow Jonathan on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/tronknotts.bsky.socialFollow the show on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/ttwav.bsky.socialVisit Maximum Utmost: https://maxutmost.com/Support the show on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ttwav

It's time for another episode of Walkin' on the Wild Side and we are road trippin' for part 2 of our "Local Legends of South Carolina" series! This time, we're up in Union County, where a local legend is well known by folks in the area, but maybe not known outside of this area of South Carolina. Goshen Hill Plantation was the site of a settlement where a man was wrongfully hanged for a murder he didn't commit, and both he and his faithful dog were executed in a wrongful rush to judgment. Scary stories of a white dog with a hideous grin that haunts this area of Union county have been told for years and a simple drive along Old Buncombe Road can really get your imagination going! Our first part takes us east of Columbia near Camden. While out on a road trip that included Buc-ee's and Swan Lake in Sumter, I wanted to share the location of our first local legend in the Scape Ore Swamp of Bishopville. Join us to learn of the phenomenon that took place in the late 80's, where the Lizardman took the city, state, nation, and even the world by storm! In the latest episode of CSP's "At Your Convenience" podcast, Vice President of Content Strategy Abbey Lewis sits down with Marc Walkin, Head of Marketing at Qsic. Walkin makes a compelling case for why convenience stores represent an ideal environment for strategic audio: "What makes c-stores so unique is first, they're highly impulse-driven relative to other channels," Walkin explains. "Any audience that is more impulse-driven is obviously more susceptible to ads that could change behavior."

If the crew is going to have a shot at chasing down their leads on the Four Horsemen, it means going out into the Wastelands. But to do so on your own might as well be suicide. The alternative is a risky and expensive negotiation with the Aldecaldos... but past business might get in the way. This arc uses the Cyberpunk 2077 setting and themes but the mechanics of the Everyday Heroes system. It's time for another episode and this time, we're talking about a bird that is so often heard but not seen. Often called rain crows, due to being heard calling before approaching storms, these birds get a bad rap as nest parasites, but our yellow billed cuckoos don't that that too often. Join us on the backporch, along with the lightning bugs, chucks, whippoorwills, and even a screech owl stops by, all to listen and learn about the cuckoos. I guess you can say they are also cuckoo for cuckoos! Here's a few websites for more info:https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Yellow-billed_Cuckoo/overviewhttps://www.birdful.org/where-can-i-see-yellow-billed-cuckoos/https://cuckooforest.com/a-brief-history-of-the-cuckoo-clock/https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/the-past-present-and-future-of-the-cuckoo-clock-65073025/Interested in having Marvin and Gabrielle speak at your event? The crew has barely escaped a harrowing fight and are bloodied but committed to tracking down the Four Horsemen. They'll need to mend up, level up, and for the first time, get ready to leave the dangerous confines of Night City for the even more dangerous lands beyond... The crew think they have a bead on at least one member of the Four Horsemen, at least digitally. It's gonna get very lethal in both cyber and meat space... In January, congestion pricing went into effect in New York City. The policy's implementation took decades; along the way, multiple moments suggested that it wouldn't happen at all. Now, drivers entering Manhattan south of 60th Street during peak hours are required to pay a toll. Meanwhile, other cities like San Francisco are considering a similar initiative. But Trump opposes New York's plan. Governor Hochul and state policy leaders encountered a political quagmire pushing the plan through. And its future is only certain up until around next fall, when legal proceedings are expected to come to a resolution. So, is congestion pricing making a worthwhile difference? How do New Yorkers — and those traveling into Manhattan — feel about it? Guests: Eric A. Goldstein, Senior Attorney, Natural Resources Defense Council Sarah M.
