We all want to make the most of our time with our kids. We want to enjoy every phase and be present in the moment! But sometimes that task seems daunting and it can feel like a lot of pressure, and then that pressure can lead to feelings of guilt because we feel like maybe we are missing out and not making the most of every phase. Trust me, I've been there! But our guest today is passionate about helping parents understand the phases that their kids are in so that they don't miss it and can maximize their time and experiences! We can ditch the guilt and spend more time enjoying our kids exactly where they are!Kristen Ivy is the President at Orange and Parent Cue and Co-Founder of The Phase Project. She is also a wife and mother of three kids.Today Kristen and I talk about the different phases our kids go through and what they need to know about God during each phase. We cover everything from: what Bible stories to tell young kids, allowing our children's faith to grow and develop as they do, the importance of parents and trusted adults, what questions we can ask our kids about God, and how to stay calm when our kids experience doubt.  And as a bonus, Kristen is giving us a discount on her “Parenting Your…” books! You can use the code TCPP20 for 20% off all “Parenting Your...” books at parentcuestore.org. I love what these two pianists are doing, Anna Szałucka and Monika Mašanauskaitė. They both live in Europe and I'm honored to be a part of the journey to share their story. Anna and Monika started touring together in 2021 and created a documentary about what was learned. Their mindset is to change the perception of classical music, focusing on connecting with the audience, and to emphasize "let's be in the moment together." Music is so calming and that is needed these days. The YouTube channel where the documentary will be shared is Piano Deck.
