Sunday, May 3rd 2026 | Pastor Jason Wallace | “Salvation is not in tradition, religion, or effort-it is in Christ Jesus alone!” - Pastor Jason WallaceNeither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 KJV
In this concluding message of Matthew 13, Pastor Karl unpacks the final three parables of Jesus — the Hidden Treasure, the Pearl of Great Price, and the Net — and challenges the common interpretations most of us have grown up hearing.Rather than reading these parables through a modern American lens, Pastor Karl takes us back into a first-century Jewish mindset to uncover what Jesus was really communicating. The treasure hidden in the field isn't something we purchase with our devotion — it's a picture of Jesus himself, who in joy gave everything to redeem his chosen people. The pearl of great price wasn't a treasure to the Jews at all, which is exactly the point: Jesus was revealing the shocking mystery that Gentiles — the unclean, the outsiders — would be included in the kingdom of God. And the parable of the net reminds us that not all roads lead to heaven, and that a day of separation is coming.Pastor Karl also draws a striking connection to the book of Ruth, showing how Boaz purchasing the field to gain Ruth as his bride foreshadowed what Jesus would do for his people — buying the field to possess the treasure within it.The message closes with one of the hardest passages for any pastor to preach at his own church: Jesus returning to his hometown, only to be met with familiarity and low expectation. The takeaway is pointed — low expectation limits reception. The messenger can be overlooked, but the message cannot: God chose to treasure you, not because of anything you offered, but because of the price his Son was willing to pay.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm
This episode of The Neville Goddard Lectures Podcast features the lecture summary read by Lynna K Teer, along with the full original lecture “God's Plan of Salvation” by Neville Goddard. In God's Plan of Salvation, Neville Goddard redefines salvation entirely, removing it from the framework of external religion and placing it within the individual as an inner, predetermined process of awakening. Salvation is not about being saved from sin, punishment, or external forces, it is the awakening of God within man, fulfilling a divine pattern already implanted in consciousness.Neville explains that the plan of salvation is not something man initiates or earns. It is God's plan, unfolding from within, bringing the individual to the realization of their true identity. This unfolding is what Neville calls The Promise; a series of spiritual experiences that reveal man as God the Father.Throughout the lecture, Neville emphasizes that Scripture is not a historical record, but a psychological and prophetic blueprint. Every story, character, and event foreshadows the inner journey of awakening that each individual will experience. Salvation, therefore, is the fulfillment of these scriptural patterns within one's own consciousness.Neville also clarifies that there is nothing man can do to force this awakening. Effort, rituals, and moral striving do not produce salvation. Instead, it unfolds according to divine timing. However, he teaches that understanding The Law, the operation of imagination, prepares consciousness by developing awareness, stability, and control of attention.A central theme in this lecture is that all are destined for salvation. No one is excluded, and no one is lost. The journey may appear different for each individual, but the end is certain: the recognition of oneself as the being spoken of in Scripture.Key themes explored in this lecture include:Salvation as awakening, not rescueScripture as a psychological and prophetic blueprintThe Promise as the fulfillment of God's planThe inevitability of awakening for allThe role of The Law as preparation, not causeNeville reminds listeners that the search for salvation outside of self leads to confusion and delay. The entire plan is already within. When the experiences of The Promise unfold, they confirm the truth of Scripture and reveal that what was once believed to be external has always been internal. This lecture reinforces Neville Goddard's highest teaching: that salvation is the realization of one's true identity as God, and that this realization unfolds according to a divine plan that cannot fail. This podcast is devoted to preserving and sharing Neville Goddard's original lectures in full, allowing listeners to study his teachings exactly as they were delivered. For structured study resources, original lecture archives, and deeper exploration of Neville Goddard's teachings, visit NevilleGoddardOfficial.com.To explore practical application of The Law, listen to The Mindset and Manifesting Podcast. For discussions devoted entirely to The Promise and spiritual awakening, listen to The Journey of Awakening Podcast.

How can we have free will if the Scriptures foretell God's plan of salvation? This is a great mystery and something we might struggle to understand. Fr. Mike explains what it means to say God's plan of predestination includes God's permissive will, each person's free will, and human beings' response to the Father's grace. Today's readings are Catechism paragraphs 599-605. This episode has been found to be in conformity with the Catechism by the Institute on the Catechism, under the Subcommittee on the Catechism, USCCB. When life feels uncertain and stakes are high on the operating table, how do we learn to trust in the Lord's plan?On this week's episode of Latter-Day Lights, Scott and Emily sit down with Dr. Mark T. Saunders, a semi-retired OB/GYN whose quiet, faithful listening opened the door to dozens of sacred and miraculous stories. While conducting his routinely in-home medical visits, Mark found that his patients—often without prompting—felt compelled to share their deeply personal experiences of divine intervention, healing, and guidance from the Holy Ghost. From a young student almost facing the loss of his leg, to near-death experiences, and unmistakable moments of revelation, Mark reflects on how these encounters strengthened his testimony that God will always a God of miracles no matter the circumstances. This conversation explores the difference between trusting in the wisdom of the world, and learning to rely fully on personal revelation, spiritual sensitivity, and the intentional direction of the Spirit.Rooted in scripture, lived experience, and divine inspiration, this episode is an invitation to slow down, listen more closely, and rediscover what it means to place unwavering trust in the Lord—even when the path forward feels like it's coming to an end.*** Please SHARE Dr. Saunders' story and help us spread hope and light to others. ***To WATCH this episode on YouTube, visit: https://youtu.be/bihxYdh6GzM-----To READ Dr. Saunders' book, "Learning to Trust in The Lord," visit: https://a.co/d/0OLMSuKTo READ Scott's new book “Faith to Stay” for free, visit: https://www.faithtostay.com/-----Keep updated with us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/latter.day.lights/Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/latterdaylightsAlso, if you have a faith-promoting or inspiring story, or know someone who does, please let us know by going to https://www.latterdaylights.com and reaching out to us.
When depression shapes the life of the person you love the most, will your faith hold—or begin to break under the pressure? In this week's episode of Latter-Day Lights, Scott and Emily sit down with Amanda Harms — a counselor, mother of six, and newly minted PhD in social psychology — to share her personal journey through supporting a spouse living with chronic depression. With mental illness and frayed communication leading to years of financial hardship, cross-country moves, spiritual denial, and seasons of uncertainty in her marriage, Amanda reflects on how compassion, understanding, and Christlike love slowly transformed the way she perceived her husband and herself.Through stories of resilience, motherhood, and the concept of “eternal perspective,” Amanda's journey invites listeners to consider what long-term endurance really looks like — not as a single turning point, but as years of small choices to remain faithful, present, and compassionate. It's a reminder that while answers don't always come quickly, the Lord walks with us through the slow, sacred process of becoming.*** Please SHARE Amanda's story and help us spread hope and light to others. ***To WATCH this episode on YouTube, visit: https://youtu.be/GukEY_jB1-k -----To READ Amanda's book, "Breaking Free from the Shame of Addiction," visit: https://a.co/d/jawXlJTTo READ Scott's new book “Faith to Stay” for free, visit: https://www.faithtostay.com/-----Keep updated with us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/latter.day.lights/Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/latterdaylightsAlso, if you have a faith-promoting or inspiring story, or know someone who does, please let us know by going to https://www.latterdaylights.com and reaching out to us.
