When it comes to the Scriptures, we believe in the inspiration of Scripture, meaning that the Bible is the Word of God. God is the ultimate source of Scripture. If that's the case, there are going to be some critical characteristics of Scripture that are going to be obvious if God is the author. One of those characteristics is inerrancy, meaning that it's not going to have any errors. This is (and has been for many years) a touchy subject.
