Delivered by Vici from the Parish of Saint John the Baptist in the Archdiocese of Jakarta, Indonesia. Acts of the Apostles 13: 26-33; Rs psalm 2: 6-7.8-9.10-11; John 14: 1-6.THE GOOD SHEPHERD COMFORTS ANDWELCOMES The title for our meditation today is:The Good Shepherd Comforts and Welcomes. We humans feel comfortable when weengage in our interpersonal relationships with one another. Whereas we feelbeing welcomed or at home when we relate to the environtment around and thingswe have or use. For example, you feel comfortable with friends near you, and atthe same time you feel at home in the atmosphere of cooperation and peaceenvironment. The Lord Jesus as our good shepherdgives us comfort and feeling at home in such context. Jesus makes uscomfortable with Him and our fellow believers. Jesus makes us feel at home inHis house, the Church, also in relation with all His teachings andcommandments. The very fitting expression for this is what Jesus says today inthe Gospel reading: do not let your heart be troubled, have faith in God, havefaith also in Me. With My Father and Me, everything will be at home andcomfortable. But not everyone agrees about beingcomfortable and at home in Christ. There are always people who don'timmediately understand. There can also be different interpretations. Forexample, the apostle Tomas asked in this way, “Show us what you are saying!”Then Jesus so convincingly said: I am the way, the truth and the life. Thisassertion is sufficient enough to overcome that doubt. Jesus empowers the ministers of theChurch to comfort and make every believer in the Church feel at home. Like theApostle Peter, Saint Paul also had the teaching authority to preach all thetruths about Jesus Christ. This really comforted and gave feeling at home toall those who listened to his preaching, especially the Gentiles or non-Jewishbelievers who were very critical and skeptical. They could accept Paul'steachings and eventually chose to become followers of Christ. Then the question to be raised aboutthis would be: who is the most responsible to provide a comfortable and feelingat home experience of one's life? For sure it is not God and the Churchleaders. They will always give attention and care to all of us out of love.Being comfortable and at home is not their primary concern. So, feelingcomfortable and at home must be first created by each one of us. It is the same with the fact of lifewhen we reject or accept our father and mother. They are God's gift to each ofus. But about being comfortable with your own father and mother, it is your ownresponsibility. You and I have to create it. Feeling at home and comfortablewith God and the Church must be our duty to make it.Let's pray. In the name of theFather ... Almighty God, may we always feel comfortable and at home because youare always in our midst through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Our Father who art inheaven ... In the name of the Father …

Delivered by Ellyane from the Parish of Saint James in the Diocese of Surabaya, Indonesia. Acts of the Apostles 1: 15-17.20-26; Rs psalm 113: 1-2.3-4.5-6.7-8; John 15: 9-17.MATIAS SOLUTION The title for our meditation today is:Matias Solution. It is said in the Acts of the Apostle, the first reading oftoday, Matthias is the chosen apostle to complete the 11 existing apostles, toreplace Judas Iscariot. According to St. Peter, Judas the traitor was theleader of those who arrested Jesus. With this complementary act, the number ofleaders of the early Church was back to perfect with number 12. The task to complete is the solution. It is not just a supplement or just a spare part and a backup section. It hasthe quality to be a determine factor. Peter says about this quality, that the12 qualified apostles were the witnesses in all of Jesus' events, from John'sbaptism until Jesus ascended into heaven. The complementary role here is veryimportant. He was the key point. He became the determinant of an incompletestructure of the community. If without him, the structure was limp, defective, and useless. His role was as important as the other apostles, namely, being thewitness of the resurrection of Christ. A concrete comparison would be thestructure of the 12 apostles and the Pope with the colleage of bishops of theChurch. Their common duty is to be the sign of communion in the Church. ThePope takes the position of the apostle Peter and the bishops who lead thedioceses are the apostles. They are leaders who are the first to give usexample of fellowship and being in the community. God wants and providesfullness and completeness as an absolute condition for all our hopes. If thereis still a hole or deficiency, it means it is not complete, still lacking, imperfect, and not yet meet the will of God. The Lord Jesus wants to share theriches of heavenly gifts with the apostles and all those who believe in Him, sothat all of them would obtain the fullness of joy. As Jesus left the apostlesand the Church to go up to heaven, that fullness of joy was manifested in theexperience of peace, certainty and being courageous to live in the midst of theworld while not having Jesus' presence physically. The principal condition isto stay in His love. The word "do not be afraid" means to live in Hislove and be always with Him. The Holy Spirit is sent from Heaven tomake life full of joy and love. Love and joy surely overcome fear, worry, anxiety and prejudicial. They were strengthened, like when we received theSacrament of Confirmation! In the same way, as Jesus makes every one of us Histrully friends, He certainly makes us full and complete with joy. We need tothank Saint Matias for inspiring us on this day of his feast. Let's pray. In the name of theFather ... O dear and loving God, may we do an active role in completing whatis lacking or missing in our journey of faith. Hail Mary full of grace ... Inthe name of the Father ...
Ever blurted out “Who cares?” ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn Part 3 of Church Made Simple, Pastor Cindy Stermer helps us discover that God cares—and He invites all of us to join Him. We see this by viewing when Jesus tells Peter, “If you love Me, feed My sheep,” and later explaining that serving the hungry, lonely, or sick is serving The Lord. Friends who tore open a roof to bring someone to Jesus model the lengths real love will go. Caring costs time, comfort, and sometimes heartbreak, but it becomes second nature when we follow Christ, who laid down His life for us. Let's turn “who cares?” into “we care!”ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. Delivered by Christine Gunawan from the Parish of Saint Joseph Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Pontianak and Yurika Gunawan from the Parish of Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Makassar, Indonesia. Acts of the Apostles 13: 14.43-52; Rs psalm 100: 2.3.5; Revelation 7: 9.14b-17; John 10: 27-30.GOOD SHEPHERD AND GOOD SHEEP The title for our meditation on this 4thSunday of Easter is: Good Shepherd and Good Sheep. Today, according to the traditionof the holy Church, we celebrate the Good Shepherd Sunday. The Churchcelebrates this with the activities of promotion of vocations. We allunderstand that priests and ministers of the Church today are the fruits of aprocess of formation of those who are called. They are men and women who haveanswered God's call to become priests or religious persons. The word “shepherd” comes from theLatin word “pastor”. It refers to the person of Jesus Christ, the profile ofthe greatest and primary Shepherd. Jesus says about His identity as the GoodShepherd in the today's Gospel reading. He says this primarily as a missionthat comes for the Father. He then makes all of us His sheep who find pasture inthe world. For us in the Catholic Church, the mission of Jesus Christ as ashepherd is a participatory work, which means that those who are chosen to takepart in the mission of Jesus. That is why in the Church itself Jesus Christ andthe Church authority entrust the mission to all the faithful and every one ofus. This participation is manifested inseveral levels. The Pope occupies the position of the apostle Peter, who is theVicar of Jesus Christ and the bishops who represent the positions and works ofthe apostles; this refers to the first level of shepherds. They take importantrole and responsibility of shepherding the entire Church. The Lord entrusts tothem the leadership of the Universal Church as well as the Local Church. The secondlevel that follows is the priests who participate in the priesthood of theirbishop. There are diocesan clergies who work in their respective dioceses andreligious priests who work through the mission of their respective order orcongregations. The next level that is broaderincludes religious men and women, who also have missions in building up theChurch, helping out the Church's mission and becoming witnesses to the existenceof the Kingdom of God on earth. And the more broadly level is every one and allfollowers of Christ. Every baptized Christian has the responsibility to be inthe community with his or her fellow Chirstians and to accompany and look after someone else.Every one is baptized to be the shepherd for others. He or she participates in thework of Jesus Christ. According to the inspiration oftoday's liturgical readings, the shepherd's care to the sheep can be summarizedinto three points. First, the shepherd knows his sheep. Getting to know andunderstand others are the expression of love and care. Second, the best qualityof shepherd's care to the sheep is if he or she sacrifices himself or herselffor the salvation of others. Third, the shepherd focuses his or her attentionto give comfort and safety for the souls of those whom he or she loves. So, weas the followers of Christ are called and formed in the whole journey of faithin this world to be the shepherds. Christ will enable us to become shepherdsand His partners.Let's pray. In the name of theFather and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ... O God and our Lord, make ustrue and good sheep in your Church. Our Father who art in heaven ... In thename of the Father…

Delivered by Meisye Laurencia from the Parish of Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Makassar, Indonesia. Acts of the Apostles 9: 31-42; Rs psalm 116: 12-13.14-15.16-17; John 6: 60-69.THE BREAD OF LIFE SUSTAINS US TO GOFORWARD The title for our meditation today is:The Bread of Life Sustains Us to Go Forward. The horse of the priest from alocal parish could only eat at certain stops, because there was food and drinkavailable to it. The priest, during his pastoral visit to the mission stationsin mountains, sat on the horse's back along with a number of other items kept inseveral sacks. The horse was the friend of the priestin the journey. Although tired and hungry, the horse was able to avade temptationto stop and look for food or drink. The available food and drink for the horsewere in the village, a place that was familiar to. The food and drink motivatedthe horse to walk in the same direction and it was impossible for it to changethe course. The horse did not care about the burden carried and how fatigue itwas. The horse only knew that later when arriving at the place intended tothere was always food and drink available to satisfy all hunger and thirst. Jesus Christ as our bread of lifekeeps us going forward as the one and holy Church to certain goal that His willand power had prepared for us. Like food that motivated the horse to go on, JesusChrist, our Guide and Teacher encourages and sustains us to go on and stay inHis company along the journey of salvation. He makes himself our everlasting foodand drink. Teaching and welcoming new membersinto the Church, repentance and self-renewal, healing as the apostle Peter didin today's reading, and building community, all these reflect how we as theChurch with all her members move forward to realize the works and mission ofJesus Christ. The Church must move and walk forward. Jesus Christ as our bread of lifeshould encourage, urge and even demanding when it comes to the need of changefrom old to new life. Eating the Body and drinking the Blood of Jesus Christare the same as using Jesus Christ in our bodies and souls so that His Holy Spiritalways controls us. The consequence is there, that we must do His will. Many people with freedom, responsibility and optimism accept that consequence with joy. Thay is why theEarly Church grew rapidly in numbers and they all expressed a deep gratitude forthis new experience of faith. This Church continued to grow until it becomesthe one and holy Church as of today. Our Church today remains following thepath of Jesus Christ and continue to move forward. But some people are having trouble inthe journey of salvation. They decline in their faith orientation. They preferanother path to follow. There are some members of the Church today reject theteachings of Christ and the Holy Church because for them, becoming member ofthe Church is too hard and demanding. Therefore, they take their own way tofind salvation. We hope that we are not included in this type.Let's pray. In the name of theFather ... O Lord our God, praise and thank you for Jesus Christ Your son whois our way, truth and life. We hope we will be loyal to him now and forever. Our Father who art in heaven ... In the name of the Father ...
Ever wondered why a Sunday church service flows the way it does? ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn Part 2 of “Church Made Simple,” Pastor Mark Stermer helps us explore the biblical reasons behind every step of a worship service. From opening praise that ushers us “...into His gates with thanksgiving” to the sermon being preached from a platform, we trace how each element of a service mirrors heaven's throne room and long-standing Scripture-anchored practice. Delivered by Evelyn from the Parish of the Holy Spirit in the Archdiocese of Singapore. Acts of the Apostles 7: 51 - 8: 1a; Rs psalm 31: 3cd-4.6ab.7b.8a.17.21ab; John 6: 30-35.ACCEPT ME, O LORD The title for our meditation today is:Accept Me, O Lord. There was a nun who gave a speech at the moment of herperpetual profession in the religious life. She began and ended her briefremarks with these following words: “Accept Me, O Lord”. The content of herspeech was about words of gratitude and request of prayers from all familiesand guests present. All were somewhat surprised because the speech lasted onlyabout two minutes. When people asked about the meaning ofthe phrase: “Accept Me, O Lord”, the nun replied that her whole life isdedicated to God and the Church. From the time of the perpetual profession, shehas promised to offer herself totally as a person consecrated. That means allthings related to work, service, disappointment, suffering, challenges andvarious other things are included in her personality, her whole being areligious nun. The nun's explanation gives us a lightto the reflection on our readings today. St. Stephen as the first martyr in theChurch, put his whole being a disciple of Jesus to be a special offering toGod. He was clever, talented, hardworking, and a defender of the faith. But hedid not make himself a powerful person with position, good works, achievements, and fame. He offered his entire life and that was all for his Master JesusChrist in whom he found rest and salvation of his soul. The Jews who were after praise andgood name insisted Jesus to know about his actual work and profession, then inresponding them he revealed his true identity with this expression: "I amthe bread of life". This bread is actually the food that the Jews and all peoplewho hope for salvation were looking for. Jesus wanted them not to bother aboutthe other things, but just recognized Him, trusted Him and stayed with Him.Here God wants to teach us that our views and treatments to one another in thisworld must be full and sincere, namely to love a person like God himself loves. All that is attached in every personsuch as good name, job, relationship, position, achievement, success and so onin the positive aspect; and failure, pain, loss, emptiness, loneliness, despairand so on in the negative aspects, will eventually terminate in this world whenwe die. What we carry on next to meet God is ourselves as the believers. Allthat are necessary to oulseves, and they help us to carry out the duties andworks according to each one's respective calling. So the good news for us today is thatwe must see what is beautiful and precious in oneself and each of ourneighbours as a whole human person as the gift of God to us. Let's pray. In the name of theFather ... O good Lord, help us to always be in the way of Your Son JesusChrist, our Lord and Savior. Hail Mary full of grace. In the name of the Father...

Delivered by Stella Wijaya from the Parish of Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Makassar, Indonesia. Acts of the Apostles 6: 8-15; Rs psalm 119: 23-24.26-27.29-30; John 6: 22-29OUR FIRST SPIRITUAL WORK AND FOOD The title for our meditation today is:Our First Spiritual Work And Food. The following is a classic question oftenused in our daily communication. Which is more appropriate: eat to work or workto eat? Many people perhaps propose a middle way answer, namely we are notconcerned with any one of them, but accept and justify both. But some peoplemaybe feel appropriate to say that we need to eat first and then work. And someother prefer we must work first and then eat. With regards to our faith, JesusChrist teaches us about the first spiritual work and the first spiritual food. The first work is to believe in the Father who sent Him to be the redeemer ofthe world. Through this faith, we know that the first food we receive is HisWord which had become a human person namely Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This first work has been done as shownin the scriptures, starting with Jesus Christ who confirmed that He came to dothe will of the Father who sent Him. Our Lady, Virgin Mary and Saint Josephalso fulfilled their lives in believing and doing God's will. Abraham is knownas the father of believers. Moses is known for his law and the prophets whosequalities of faith are so profound. The person of which to be our exampletoday is Stephen, a disciple of the Lord and witness to the resurrection ofChrist. He was filled with the grace and power of the almighty God as a sign ofthe quality of his faith. He dared to face the challenges of the Jews who wereagainst him. Through this work, the first meal that Stephen enjoyed wasdrinking a cup of suffering with Jesus Christ. Following Christ is our great calling. Our witness of faith and devotion to God must serve to support that calling. Faithis the basic and only reason asked to a person who is going to be baptized andaccepted into the Catholic Church. It is not a question about property, position, enjoyment of the world or good name. Other sacraments are to bereceived and celebrated after baptism. It is faith that sustains and fostersour prayers, devotions and various ministries in the Church, and our life inthe society. The supreme authority of the Churchuses the virtue of faith and obedience as the first conditions to beatify andcanonize a faithful person a saint. So, our first work from God is spiritual, not physical. Faith, devotion and obedience lead us to become members of theChurch and eventually become a true ticket for each of us to enter into communionwith the saints in heaven. Let's pray. In the name of theFather ... O Jesus Christ, our kind teacher, teach and show us how to beperfect through our faith and devotion to God. May your spirit of resurrectionstrengthen our faith, piety and obedience to You and faithfully defend it untilour death. Our Father who art in heaven ... In the name of the Father ...

ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this part one of "Church Made Simple," Pastor Joey and Sarai Kahl dive into why the Church is essential. Church is where we grow, connect, and experience God together. The Church is Jesus' idea, not man-made, and it's a place of grounding and fellowship. We're saved into it, not just out of something, and when we gather, we expect God to move. ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn part one of "The Blood," Pastor Joey Kahl shows us the powerful story of atonement—how God has always made a way to cover our sin, from the garden with Adam and Eve to the sacrifice of Jesus, our Passover Lamb. Through the lens of Scripture and the traditions of Passover, we see how Jesus was selected, inspected, and ultimately sacrificed for us. But it's not enough just to know about the Lamb—we're called to apply the blood and share Him with others.ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. La Porta | Renungan Harian Katolik - Daily Meditation according to Catholic Church liturgy
Delivered by Father Peter Tukan, SDB from Salesian Don Bosco Gerak in the Diocese of Labuan Bajo, Indonesia. Hosea 14: 2-10; Rs psalm 81: 6c-8a.8bc-9.10-11ab.14.17; Markus 12: 28b-34COMPASSION IS GREATER THAN ALL SACRIFICES ANDOFFERINGS The theme for our meditation today is: Compassion IsGreater than All Sacrifices and Offerings. This statement invites us to ponderdeeply the fundamental truths of our faith and our relationship with God. Thisteaching reminds us that religious rituals, prayers, and sacrifices are ouressential devotions, but they will be empty if they are not accompanied by truecompassion and love for others. In today's Gospel of Mark, the Lord Jesus teachesabout sincere love for God and neighbors. A scribe who accepted this teachingmade it clearer by saying: "To love God with all your heart, with all yourunderstanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbors asyourself is far more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." Compassion or mercy is love in action. This ismanifested first of all through God's care for mankind. When we do charity, weimitate Christ, who always served the little, the forgotten, the sinners, andthe brokenhearted. A compassionate heart such as feeding the hungry, comfortingthe sad, forgiving those who have sinned against us, describes a heart that istruly in accordance with God's will. Why is mercy or compassion greater in quality thansacrifices and offerings? In the Old Testament, sacrifices were made to helpbelievers express repentance and devotion to the divine. Likewise, the varioustypes of offerings that were made to explain how believers devoted and worshiped. However, it turns out that all the sacrifices andofferings then become mere routine when they do not correlate with a heart thattruly longs for justice, peace, and love. Compassion, on the other hand, is anactive and transformative response that shows God's presence in the world. Whenwe are compassionate or loving we build relationships, heal wounds, andstrengthen fellowship. Some practical suggestions for practicing compassionsuch as forgiving others, helping those in need, speaking gently, patiently, and understandingly. Pope Francis affirmed that the Church of compassion is theChurch that becomes a "field hospital", that is, a place to heal allwounds and sufferings, before help in other forms comes later. In this seasonof Lent, acts of love will be very important as a path to our repentance.Let us pray. In the name of the Father ... O Lord, forgive ussinners for not strong enough to docharity consistently. Glory to the Father ... In the name of the Father ...

Let's commit to receiving, growing, and walking in the Spirit's gifts to build God's kingdom and change the world together! ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this message, Pastor Mark Stermer explores Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) - God's measure of our hearts and faith. While IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient) shape our thinking and emotions, SQ reflects our connection to God and how we live out His calling. Scripture shows that God weighs our spirit and empowers us through the Holy Spirit. Jesus gave His church the Spirit's power, not for individual gain but to work together as one body. As a community, we are called to receive, grow in, and walk in the Spirit's gifts to build God's kingdom and change the world.ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. Let's commit to seeking God everyday, enabling us to receive the spiritual authority he's given us! ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this message, Pastor Sam Muyaka teaches us that breakthroughs happen when we commit privately to prayer, serving, worship, and scripture. Observing the life of Jesus and seeing his examples, we're reminded that the victories we celebrate publicly start in the personal devotion we often overlook. Together, let's pursue the power found in daily, hidden faithfulness, knowing our greatest victories begin in secret places!ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. Let's join together to make the body of Christ the safest place on Earth! ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this message, Pastor Mark Stermer reminds us that people are flawed, and often correct out of anger rather than love. But God's mercy is different—His correction leads to change and reconciliation. Like the father welcoming the prodigal son home, we're called to restore, forgive, and lead with love, creating a safe place shaped by grace.ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. True Worship Matters | Justin Cheely | theCHURCH by Pastor Ernie Jaurique
Let's join together to make the body of Christ the safest place on Earth! ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn the third installment of "Safest Place on Earth," Pastor Mark Stermer teaches us about the importance of the church being a place of healing, growth, and protection. Just as a nation defends itself from threats within and without, we must guard our community with love—offering mercy, correction, and accountability. While sometimes painful, protecting the Church of the Living God as the Safest Place on Earth is incredibly important to fulfilling God's biblical design. By following God's wisdom, we create a church where people can thrive in truth and grace.ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. Let's grow together in making love our highest goal by focusing on DWJD! ABOUT THE MESSAGELove is more than a feeling—it's a choice we make every day, a reflection of God's deep and unconditional love for us. In this message, Pastor Joey and Sarai Kahl explore how we, as a church community, can go deeper in love—choosing love even when it's hard, extending grace, and receiving the love God freely gives. Through powerful biblical examples, we are reminded that love binds us together and transforms us. Just as Jesus loved us first, we are called to love one another fully and unconditionally. Let's join together to make the body of Christ the safest place on Earth! ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn, "Safest Place on Earth: Part 1," Pastor Mark Stermer teaches us that as a church, we are called to be a refuge—a place of love, mercy, and healing for all. Psalm 9:9 reminds us that God is our safe place, and we are to reflect that by covering, not condemning, lifting up, and not exposing those around us, especially when they're struggling. In 2025, let's commit to loving like Jesus, and making Christ's church the safest place on Earth for the hurting, the lost, and those seeking hope!ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this message, Pastor Mark Stermer encourages us to step into the fullness of God's promises with faith, obedience, and unity. Drawing from lessons like Isreal's victory at Jericho through worship and trust and Achan's hidden sin causing Isreal to struggle in battle, we're reminded to honor God, avoid distractions, and remain steadfast in our faith. Are you fighting for what God has promised you? ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this message, Pastor Mark Stermer reminds us that God has promised blessings and abundance, but it takes faith, dedication, and effort from us to claim them. Just as Israel had to trust God, set themselves apart, and fight for the Promised Land, we are called to work together as a community to overcome spiritual challenges and receive what God has for us. Only with God's help can we create a "land flowing with milk and honey" in our homes, churches, and communities.ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as being involved in a healthy church community are both important to achieving that goal. What is your heart's desire? ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn "Heart's Desire," Pastor Mark Stermer gives a message on the importance of our heart's desire to God. Prophecy is a gift from God that serves to encourage, console, and build up theChurch. Rooted in Scripture and aligned with God's Word, it is a powerful way forthe Holy Spirit to speak to believers and unbelievers alike. The Apostle Paul teaches us that prophecy is available to everyone and should be earnestly desired. It builds up the Church, brings conviction to unbelievers, and gives us a glimpse into God's will, even if only partially revealed. Prophecy operates within order and guidelines to ensure that it honors God and edifies His people.

Is your light shining?ABOUT THE MESSAGEThe church is, and always has been, charged with being a guiding light in the world. Jesus Christ is the true light of the world, and believers are called to reflect this light. We do this by walking as children of light, letting people see their good works, and preaching the Gospel to the world around us. All throughout history, that church has consistently been present during challenging times, offering hope and support to those in need. To be all that we are called to be, we must all actively participate in being this beacon of light, guiding others to God's love and salvation. Stand against the Drift!ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this powerful sermon, Pastor Mark Stermer gives a warning against the potential for spiritual decline and drifting away from God. Drawing parallels between ancient Israel's history and modern times, he emphasizes the importance of remembering God's commandments and blessings. The message explores how neglecting God's established rhythms of worship and support for spiritual leaders can lead to moral decay and idolatry. The consequences of forgetting God and creating personal interpretations of faith will lead you down a pathway that draws you away from God. Let's all commit to, serve, and support God's church as we stay focused on Him and stand against the drift!ABOUT JESUSIf you want to learn more about who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with Him, we would love to help you on that journey: https://www.thechurch.fm/jesus For a deeper dive into The Word of God on a daily basis check out our Free Ancient Paths Daily Devotional: https://www.thechurch.fm/ancient-pathsWHO WE AREWe believe that the goal of every Christian is To Be Conformed Into the Image of Jesus Christ, and a relationship with Jesus as well as beina involved in a healthy church communitv are both important to achievina that goal. Are you living with your bags packed, or are you here to stay? ABOUT THE MESSAGEIn this powerful sermon, Pastor Terry Nelson explores the divine purpose behind the church and its parallels with family. Both the family and the church are God's design, requiring God-ordained leadership and/or true depth and meaning, both marriage and church require commitment. Far too many people today try to attend church with their suitcase packed and wonder why their lives are void the benefits that come along with being truly connected to the body of Christ. Tune in to be challenged on what it looks like to 'put skin in the game' and reflect on your level of commitment to God's design for your life!
