@stojche Cvetanovski (born in 1984 in Skopje, Macedonia) is just a regular rebel trapped in the urban chaos of the 21st century. The trigger factor that inspired him, was the local underground techno scene in Skopje. A city described by Derrick May and Juan Atkins as “the leading hub for Detroit techno on the Balkan Peninsula”. The expansion of the motor city sounds in the Macedonian capital and his mania for vinyl records triggered Stojche to explore his path and dig deeper in this futuristic music phenomenon. After a decade devoted to djing, he shifted to producing, and in 2009 he co-founded "argumento-music-group. He is one of the names on the European circuit that broke through with contributions to labels like A.r.t.less, DMK, Conform (@user-751044313), @subwax-bcn, @grounded-in-humanity, @sounds-benefit-records, @freundderfamilie alongside others. In 2011 he launched his solo imprint “Tangible Assets”. An outlet that has given him the freedom to explore and refine his trademark Detroit – influenced dubbed out productions. “Tangible Assets” reflects a personal statement with emphasized appreciation for the techno history. His discography marked him as one of the names that is still pushing forward the timeless envelope of the initial “hi-tech soul” legacy. In contrast, his dj sets provide further evidence of years spent behind the turntables, resulting in pounding journeys with a dose of emotional content. His constant pursuit for inspiration sits balanced with the pulse of the city life. Stojche is an artist with beginnings in his Macedonian hometown of Skopje. The City stands as another hub for Detroit Techno, according to recognised Detroit artists. It was here that he began his DJ career until at some point he also turned to producing. In 2009 he founded "Argumento Music". Stojche now lives in Berlin and can look back on a number of productions on renowned labels such as DMK, Conform, Subwax and A.R.T.less, to name but a few. From 2011 onwards he sets a personal mark on his personal imprint "Tangible Assets" with appreciation and feeling for the "Hi-Tech Soul" heritage. He describes his DJ sets as stomping journeys with a dose of emotion, I can confirm this and am now very much looking forward to his musical contribution with you. Yet again we welcome a DJ back to the stage for Avenue Red Podcast 41, this time with a blinding mix from Verdant Recordings (real name Andy Green) from the much maligned Stevenage near London, an old hotbed of good times from the halycon days of electronic music. This is his second contribution to Avenue Red, following on from his Avenue Red 1210 Mk4 mix, strictly for the connoisseurs (link below). Andy's Verdant Sessions shows on Timeline-Music.net are a great place to discover exciting new releases mixed with old, forgotten gems from his collection and this mix provides a great summary of the kind of music he is focussed on with that project. Andy has also co-founded a new music group and party called Transition along with Stephen Sherdel, Leigh Dickson & Rick Hopkins with a mission to play out "Intergalactic Funk". He's also 1/3 of the SUNK collective, another London night of quality House and Techno.
