A few years ago, Manitoba had 2 craft breweries, today they have 16. Torque Brewing's Adam Olson talks about how the scene has changed rapidly, bringing new styles and a whole new beer culture.
Today we're joined by Ryan Bell golf and golf accessory aficionado. He loves golf and golf loves him. He regular gets hit over the head and spends big to buy the latest and greatest golf technology. He was also one of the first gents to test out the TaylorMade Sim 2 driver in the province...which he damn near broke. You can find him at Glendale Golf and Country Club. He reflects on hitting the same lady twice with a golf ball, fishing for sturgeon in B.C., golf lessons, golf tech, owning two race horses, and betting on sports. 18 Over Par is proudly presented by former Manitoba Amateur Champ Jamie Wilkie at The NEW Winnipeg Dodge in the Pointe West Autopark. Thanks Wilkie! HUGE thanks to DQ Northgate, DQ Polo Park in the food court, DQ St. Anne's Road, and DQ Niverville. Shout out to Torque Brewing for supplying the brews.

Today we Have Coffee and Talk about whether or not we think our own homes would pass a Health Inspection, Great New ideas are being created at The Millenium Library, Torque Brewing has raised a whole heck of a lot of money to help people with cancer, and, It would appear that even on vacation, we have a hard time disconnecting from the world.
On Oct. 1, Witchpolice Radio took to the stage at **[Torque Brewing](https://torquebrewing.beer/) ** for our first live podcast in almost a year. This episode was called _Mutual Appreciation Society_ , and the premise was that we had three local musicians on the show to talk about songwriting and (more importantly) cover each other's songs! Because the sound equipment for this event was kind of MacGyvered together (huge thanks to **UMFM** for the mics!), the audio quality is, to be honest, not great, but that kind of goes with the territory on a live podcast. The songs -- by **Laura Artus** , **[Nic Dyso](https://nicdysonmusic.bandcamp.com/)n** and **[JayWood](https://jaywood1.bandcamp.com/) ** -- sound awesome, though. Thanks to our awesome guests for stepping out of their comfort zones and covering songs by artists they'd never heard before. Thanks to everyone who came out, and a huge thanks to Adam at Torque for letting us use such a fantastic venue for the show! **...and if you like Torque, be sure to check out their Brew Ha Ha comedy event at the brewery on Nov. 7, plus the release of their Rabbit Punch black IPA on Nov. 14!** If you like this podcast, please support it. At [our Patreon page](http://www.patreon.com/witchpolice), you can help us keep pumping out quality podcasts about the Winnipeg music scene for as little as $1 a month. Huge thanks to all of our patrons!
