One of the world’s greatest living artists. One of the most ambitious exhibitions Singapore has ever staged. Sugimoto’s “Form Is Emptiness” is a masterpiece — meditative, philosophical, and visually stunning. SAM Curators Amy Cheng and Angelica Ong walked us through the journey. If you care about art, perception, or time itself… go see this. On The Wide Angle, we explore one of the most significant art events of the year: Hiroshi Sugimoto: Form Is Emptiness, a major exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum running from 29 May to 4 October 2026 — and the first large‑scale solo exhibition of Sugimoto’s work in Southeast Asia. This ambitious project. Spanning five decades of Sugimoto’s practice, from photography and sculpture to architecture and conceptual art, the exhibition brings together over 60 works across 11 series, including Seascapes, Theatres, Sea of Buddha, Opticks, and Portraits. We discuss the curators’ experience working with Sugimoto’s team, the philosophical ideas behind the exhibition, and what audiences can expect from this immersive, meditative encounter with one of contemporary art’s most influential figures.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

MoneyFM 89.3 Saturday Mornings Show host Glenn van Zutphen in the Leaders in Action segment, spotlights a powerful partnership tackling one of the most urgent human rights issues in Asia: the fight against violence and exploitation. Joining Glenn are Rae Lee, Executive Director of International Justice Mission (IJM) Singapore & Southeast Asia, and Raj Singh, CEO of Coco Veda. For 25 years, IJM has worked with governments around the world to rescue victims, prosecute offenders, strengthen justice systems, and restore survivors to safety. Their mission is bold: rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice unstoppable. We explore IJM’s work across the region — from combating online sexual exploitation of children in the Philippines to fighting forced labour in Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Indonesia. Coco Veda’s partnership with IJM is rooted in shared values: dignity, ethical impact, and community empowerment. Through their LiveWell initiative, Coco Veda is donating 30% of proceeds from selected wellness gift sets to support IJM’s work — turning everyday consumer choices into meaningful protection for vulnerable children. We discuss the four pillars of IJM’s protection model, the scale of the problem, and the simple actions individuals and businesses can take to help. Correction: Our interviewee referred to 'nearly 500 million' children were trafficked or exploited to produce child sexual exploitation materials in the Philippines in 2022. The correct figure is about 500,000 children. We apologise for the error and have corrected the record. This remains a deeply concerning issue that underscores the urgent need for collective action to protect children from online sexual exploitation. On MoneyFM 89.3 Saturday Mornings Show host Glenn van Zutphen welcomes Hui Ching Tan, Head of Research Insights APJ at Qualtrics, to unpack how AI‑simulated consumers are changing the way organisations understand their customers. We explore a huge shift happening inside one of the world’s biggest industries market research and why Singapore companies may be underestimating how fast AI is transforming it. Worth over US$150 billion, the research industry has long relied on surveys, focus groups and weeks‑long studies. But Qualtrics’ latest data shows a new reality: 78% of researchers already use Agentic AI 72% expect AI to take full responsibility for key research phases 70% believe AI agents will run more than half of all research end‑to‑end These AI “digital twins” built from real consumer behaviour, preferences and purchase history can test messages, products and experiences in hours instead of months, without fatigue, bias or drop‑off. Hui Ching explains what this means for Singapore’s banks, healthcare providers and retailers, especially amid a talent crunch in research and analytics. She also shares why companies that adopt synthetic data and agentic AI now will gain an insight advantage that competitors will struggle to catch.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
