Lydia Dominick of Buffalo, NY is a successful business owner, running a popular balloon company and also working to beautify women through services like lashes and makeup. She also founded Buffalo Gives after the war on Ukraine broke out. What started as requests for food, diapers and combat supplies from those in her community turned into boots on the ground work in Poland and Ukraine to save many lives through donations of bullet proof vests and other tactical gear. She has traveled overseas and is continuing her life-changing work as the war wages on. She is also offering instrumental work right in her hometown, supporting those in need. In 2012, a baby girl was born without a right or left hemisphere of her brain. Doctors said she was essentially in a vegetative state, unable to see or hear. Relinquished by her birth parents, this two-week-old unnamed baby girl found her way to Cori Salchert's home. Despite the infant's grim medical diagnosis, Cori took the baby and named her Emmalynn. Ever since that moment, Cori has been on a quest to help other hospice babies, those left to live and die without family to care for them. At just 29, Fabi Powell lost her Army Ranger husband, Josh to Synovial Sarcoma cancer. She started the Josh Powell Foundation in his honor to help encourage newly diagnosed patients and fulfill wishes of those running out of time. At 33, she started IVF to have her late husband's baby. Two years later, still no baby, but by the grace of God and an incredible team of doctors, she's still fighting for their dream. Grace Hackett is the Director of Engagement for Love One International - a global nonprofit centered in Tennessee that is saving the lives of babies and children in Uganda who are critically ill. It is not the goal for these children to be adopted to families outside of Uganda, but rather to treat them and come up with a resettlement plan, so they are able to return to their families once they are healthy. Midsi Sanchez just turned 8-years-old when she was walking home from school in Vallejo, California and her world changed forever. She was kidnapped by a stranger who grabbed her from the street just feet away from her home and forced her into his car. The man, later identified as felon and pedophile, Curtis Dean Anderson, kept her in his vehicle for several days until she made a courageous escape through his car window. Sarah then moved to Nashville with Enaka and after settling in for only one month Sarah was hit with more surprising news…she was pregnant with her ex's baby! One of Sarah's viral videos, which has been viewed over 12 million times, detailed how she ended up co-parenting her son with Enaka…not long after the two had met on Instagram! Sarah admitted that she was afraid Enaka would move out when learning that another roommate was going to make his way into the world 9 months later…but the exact opposite happened! Kennith Allen Thomas – otherwise known as the “dancing dad” – took the internet by storm with his daily father-son dancing videos from his son's hospital room. His young son, Kristian was diagnosed with leukemia and was also born with down syndrome. In the now-viral video called “When your son is cancer–free” Kenny and Kristian can be seen dancing outside of their home in matching flannels, jeans and smiles spreading from ear to ear. That video received millions of views and hundreds of thousands of comments from across the world.  A happy update to report - Kristian is a cancer survivor and has officially been declared cancer free!  Kenny owned a New Jersey dance studio called Level Dance Complex and continues to dance. He is also a motivational speaker and extremely passionate about his faith.
