Get access to FREE mixing mini-course: https://MixMasterBundle.com My guest today is Jamie Tate, a Grammy and Emmy Award-winning recording engineer, mixer, producer, and the owner of The Rukkus Room in Nashville, TN. Jamie's career in the studio world began as an intern at The Sanctuary Recording Studios, where he worked his way up to chief engineer. After The Sanctuary sold, Jamie honed his craft while working around the clock at Abtrax Recording Studios. By 2004, with 18 months of clients already booked, he took the leap and founded The Rukkus Room, which has since become one of Nashville's most iconic recording spaces. The Rukkus Room was designed by Gene Lawson of Lawson Microphones and is one of the last remaining purpose-built recording studios in Nashville. Jamie has mixed and recorded music for a stunning array of artists, including Thomas Rhett, Taylor Swift, Dustin Lynch, Jerrod Niemann, Maddie & Tae, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, John Prine, Rhett Akins, Sheryl Crow, Brooks and Dunn, and many more. We wanna hear from you! Send us a message here :) Critically acclaimed singer songwriter and rising Country music star, Adam Doleac, is taking the Nashville scene by storm with his unique signature sound. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Doleac initially chased his big-league dreams with a baseball scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi, but soon realized his true calling was creating music. Self-taught on multiple instruments, Doleac became proficient in guitar, drums, and piano and soon decided to leave the sports world behind to pursue a music career. After a self-written song posted on YouTube propelled him to viral success and helped him secure a publishing deal, Doleac made the move to Nashville and spent several years penning lyrics for notable names including Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay, Nate Smith, Gabby Barrett, Darius Rucker, Hootie & the Blowfish, and more. In 2017, his self-titled debut EP produced GOLD-certified song “Famous” and was followed by his debut album, Barstool Whiskey Wonderland, released in 2022. Doleac's most recent album, about: TIME, was released in 2024 and takes the listener through some of his milestone moments in life with the universal message that time is love, and how we spend it is a reflection of who (or what) means the most to us. Now, Doleac has hit the ground running in 2025 with “Bye Heart,” “Dream House,” and new single “Bar Named Jesus” featuring global Country superstar Thomas Rhett. Written by Doleac along with Josh Jenkins and Chris LaCorte, the powerful track explores themes of redemption, forgiveness, and finding solace in faith while discovering a sense of belonging in a place of spiritual refuge - represented as "a bar named Jesus." With north of half a billion on-demand audio and video streams to date, Doleac's soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics have won over a legion of fans and audiences across the globe. With the release of “Bar Named Jesus,” the critically acclaimed Country troubadour is poised to continue the momentum toward an undoubtedly monumental year. Doleac is currently gearing up to release more new music, and fans can expect to catch Doleac on the road as he continues to solidify his place as a leading voice in Country music. Support the show

Linktree: https://linktr.ee/AnalyticIn this segment, Analytic Dreamz breaks down Morgan Wallen's highly anticipated 2025 'I'm the Problem' Tour, which aligns with his new album release. Starting from June 20 to September 13, Wallen, who first gained recognition on "The Voice" in 2014, will perform in major stadiums across the U.S. and Canada, including key cities like Houston, Miami, Santa Clara, and Toronto. Notable opening acts include country legends Miranda Lambert and Brooks & Dunn, alongside artists like Koe Wetzel and Thomas Rhett. Ticket prices vary significantly, with the lowest starting at $186 in Houston and peaking at $10,514 for premium seats in Santa Clara. The tour schedule spans from Houston's NRG Stadium to Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium, showcasing Wallen's broad appeal. However, not all fans are pleased; complaints include the exclusion of states like Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and New York from the tour route, alongside concerns over the high cost of tickets, some exceeding $600. Additionally, Wallen's tour comes on the heels of his 2024 legal issues, which involved a chair-throwing incident leading to probation and a DUI education program. On January 31, 2025, Wallen will release "I'm the Problem," both the album and its title track, likely adding more fuel to his already fiery career trajectory. Analytic Dreamz discusses these aspects, examining both the excitement around the tour and the controversies that continue to surround Wallen.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Our guest on Stories Behind the Songs this week is Will Bundy! From a small town near Bristol, TN, Will has such a cool story that was so much fun to get into. We dive deep into his journey from mowing lawns and farming to producing demos that landed him in writing rooms with some of Nashville's biggest names right now like Riley Green, Thomas Rhett, and Ella Langley, as well as hit songwriters like Brett James, Forest Whitehead, and Ashley Gorley. In this episode, you'll hear about how he hustled to learn demo production when he couldn't afford to hire anyone, carving out his niche in the industry as a “track guy”, his bold decision to rent out a studio on Music Row while living in Antioch, and writing his recent cut with Brad Paisley, “Truck Still Works”. He also shares stories about going on the road with Thomas Rhett and Rhett Akins and how that led to one of his career-defining songs, “Half of Me”. With recent cuts for both Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley, PLUS producing the viral hit “you look like you love me” by Ella Langley, Will Bundy is a great example of how hard work, strong relationships, and sticking with it truly pays off. Make sure to watch to the full episode for some invaluable advice to young songwriters, and a performance of his hit with Thomas Rhett and Riley Green, "Half of Me”. Reaction to President Biden's closely watched news conference last night. Plus, tens of millions are facing another day of oppressive heat from coast-to-coast, as a lot of rain is still to come, as we head into the weekend. And, breaking down the newest trend in travel – what is “dupe” travel?
We loved getting to sit and have a conversation with two people we have loved and admired for so long, Andi and Charlie Peacock Ashworth. In fact, we were both attending a Bible study in their home (which we'll talk about) before we knew them or each other, way back in our 20's, along with all of the other 20 and 30 and 40-something year old's in Nashville. We have learned so much from these two, as they have invited us in to so many conversations over the years, whether those conversations took place through books or music or in person. We can't wait for you to listen in and learn from them, too, as we talk about music, the family table, and their new book, Why Everything That Doesn't Matter, Matters So Much. And, by the way, these two are a husband and wife creative powerhouse team, having authored and co-authored books, blogs and so many songs you know and love. . . . . . Jordan Soderholm is co-founder and chief growth officer of Ranger Station, an American heritage fragrance brand founded in 2015 with husband Steve Soderholm, and founder of Nashville Candle + Supply, a private label and custom candle manufacturing company established in 2021. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jordan came to Nashville in 2009 to study marketing and fashion merchandising at Belmont University. During her sophomore year of studies, Jordan began a full-time position at ABLE, which was then a start-up fashion brand and social enterprise supporting women in Africa through the creation of leather handbags and accessories. She stayed with the company through graduation and for a decade, minus a two-year hiatus as an independent wardrobe stylist, working her way from intern to fashion director and helping to establish the global brand it is today. Along the way, Jordan was watching Steve dabble in candle making while home between gigs as a touring professional drummer. Her keen business sense and entrepreneurial spirit helped recognize the business potential in the hobby and she worked after hours to help Steve get the brand off the ground in 2015. In 2021, she left ABLE to work with Ranger Station full time and to take the brand to the next level. It was then that she also founded Nashville Candle + Supply, a boutique private label and custom candle manufacturing company with clients worldwide. Today, Ranger Station is growing rapidly but thoughtfully. Ranger Station products are available for purchase from retail partners across the United States, Canada and the UK, as well as their flagship store in Nashville's 12South neighborhood opened in July 2023. Ranger Station also unveiled its first artist collaboration in the summer of 2023 with Noah Kahan, the folk singer/songwriter from New England, to bring to life his third LP, “Stick Season” – a candle that sold out in a record 24 hours with over 1,000 people on the waitlist. Collaborations with ERNEST, The Band Camino, Lauren Akins and Thomas Rhett and NEEDTOBREATHE followed, with others in the works. The brand has been featured in Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Architectural Digest, Cowboys & Indians, Byrdie, WWD, Who What Wear, The Strategist, PEOPLE, Southern Living, Billboard and countless other publications. Aside from Ranger Station, Jordan chases around her two young children with Steve, and enjoys gardening, reading and styling through her Substack “You didn't ask.” and other endeavors.
