Let's be honest, there is a lot of pressure in today's society to create and do. We are expected to excel in everything we do and we often feel like we need to constantly be working on our goals. Some call this the art of "doing," while others call it perfectionism. But what if non-stop doing and perfectionism were really just masks for fear and insecurity? What if they were distractions, keeping us from doing something that scares us?In this podcast episode, our guest Brittany Dandy shares her powerful experience with moving through fear in order to birth something new. She talks about her experience with motherhood, and the connection between birthing a human vs. birthing an idea into the world. Today is officially my first day back in the "real world" after having spent more than a week in Guatemala with Mayan elders. I'm still processing everything that I've learned over the past few days. But in the meantime, I wanted to share one of the most powerful messages that I'm taking away: Fire doesn't have to be feared; it can be sacred. Your inner fire doesn't have to be destructive; it can be healing. And the more powerfully you show up in the world, the more you invite others to do the same.

Possibility is not something most people think about too often, but we should. Our relationship to possibility is an essential piece to how we show up in life + business. How do you know if your vision is actually possible? In this episode, we'll explore the 3 phases of possibility. I'll tell you about my own journey in building Ambition + Mischief, and how each phase of possibility showed up for me. Let's talk about confidence. We typically think about confidence from an external perspective -- how we show up in the world and how others perceive us. But what does it look like to create confidence internally? In this week's episode, we're looking at one simple way we can be more confident, especially when trying new things. With love,Sam
I'm officially on the other side of a year-long coaching training program! I'm walking away from the experience as certified Ontological Coach, but beyond the certifications, there are plenty of life-changing things I've learned along the way. One of those things is the concept of fighting for something, rather than just fighting against something. If you're passionate and ambitious like I am, I think you'll enjoy this episode as it takes a look at how to use your warrior energy for good. With love,Sam
I used to think that the harder I worked, the more successful I would be. I thought that the intangible things I was craving - joy, connection, and abundance - would be on the other side of hard work. Spoiler: it wasn't. No matter how hard I worked, I always felt like something was missing. And then I was introduced to the concept of being vs. doing. This simple concept changed everything about how I approach work and life. Listen until the end for a few introspective questions that can be used as a journaling/ writing prompt or just something to think about. With love,Sam
