The Behind the Steel Curtain: for Pittsburgh Steelers fans podcast has been a fantastic fan experience for me. As someone located in mid Michigan with no real Steeler friends anymore, this podcast has given me a sense of community and connection. Each time I tune into one of the podcasts, I feel like I have a whole Steeler family. The hosts provide unique takes and perspectives on the Steelers, making it extremely informative. Not only have I learned a lot about the team itself, but also about football in general. What sets this network apart is that they are fans themselves, allowing them to give their biased take and hopes for the team. This personal touch makes the network feel more relatable and authentic. With a variety of shows to choose from, there's always something to tune into each week, keeping me engaged all year round.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the sense of camaraderie it provides. Being away from home and missing out on the social engagement that comes with Steelers season in my community, finding this podcast was like being reunited with an old friend.
