It's been a big week for Pittsburgh public hearings! People turned out to share their passionate takes on the city's revised affordable housing bill, the county's paid parental leave proposal, and a debate about whether to keep Serpentine Drive in Schenley Park car-free. Host Megan Harris, producer Sophia Lo, and contributor Colin Williams dig into the debates. Plus, we share the best local spots for watching the World Cup, some bittersweet Mister Rogers news, and the pickle "delicacies" we plan to avoid at this year's expanded Picklesburgh. (No offense to any vendors, it's tough to pull off an edible pickle ice cream!) And in our members-only bonus segment, Megan is sharing a dispatch from the first Costco in PA to sell alcohol — and whether it's worth a trip to Cranberry for some bulk booze. Watt and how the Steelers plan to neutralize Derrick Henry after his 216-yard performance last week. We dive into the critical matchups: Patrick Queen facing his old team to stop the run, Minkah Fitzpatrick bracketing Zay Flowers, and the "Wizard of Boz" potentially kicking us into the postseason. History is on the line at Acrisure Stadium as the 10-7 AFC North Champion Steelers host the 12-5 Houston Texans for a Monday Night Wild Card clash. Pittsburgh brings a legendary 23-0 home Monday Night win streak dating back to October 14, 1991—a record that has survived the entire careers of Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin. With DK Metcalf officially returning from suspension and T.J. Watt at 100% health, the Steelers face their toughest test yet against a Texans team riding a 9-game winning streak and boasting the NFL's #1 ranked total defense (277.2 YPG).We're breaking down the elite matchups that will decide who advances to the Divisional Round. Aaron Rodgers enters the night with 114 straight passes without an INT, needing just one TD to tie Joe Montana and two to pass him for the #2 spot in all-time playoff passing history. On defense, the Steelers must contain C.J. Stroud (2-2 playoff record) and rookie RB Woody Marks while exploiting a Texans' run defense that allows 93.7 yards per game. Can Joey Porter Jr. lock down Nico Collins and protect the most improbable streak in sports, or will the "1991 Magic" finally come to an end?#Steelers #Texans #NFLPlayoffs #WildCard #AaronRodgers #CJStroud #TJWatt #DKMetcalf #SteelersNation #MNF #23and0
What is the future of Broderick Jones? Mullsy, who famously said Jones will be the best tackle in Steelers history, makes a statement. With the Browns getting a new stadium, will the Steelers ever play in a dome?

Titans SELECT Ohio State WR CARNELL TATE at Pick # in the 2026 NFL DRAFT and Auburn DE Keldric Faulk The Tennessee Titans selected Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Carnell Tate with the fourth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Thursday, April 23.Tate stands at 6-foot-2, 192 pounds and will aim to be a threat for quarterback Cam Ward as Tennessee looks to build upon its offense. Last year, the Titans took Ward in the first round. Wisely, they took a wide receiver in the first round this year to pair with him.Last season with the Buckeyes, Tate had 51 receptions for 875 yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games. He missed three games with an injury. With the No. 31 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans have selected Auburn defensive end Keldric Faulk, becoming the next first-round pick to join the Titans after they picked WR Carnell Tate No. 4 overall. The Titans picked Faulk after trading up with the Buffalo Bills to No. 31 overall. The Titans gave up picks Nos. 35, 66 and 101 in exchange for picks Nos. 31, 69 and 165. As a result of the trade, the Titans will only have one pick on Day 2 of the NFL draft. Faulk, at 6-foot-5 and 274 pounds, is a power rusher off the edge, filling a need the Titans have for edge defender but not finding the bendy, hyper-athletic type of rusher the Titans were thought to be coveting. Faulk only registered two sacks in 2025 at Auburn despite hype that had him as a potential top-10 pick coming into the season. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Steelers have brought in their first QB prospect for an official visit ahead of the NFL Draft – Carson Beck. After throwing a few TD passes for the Hurricanes at Acrisure Stadium in November, could he have more TD passes ahead of him in Pittsburgh? If the Steelers draft a QB in the middle rounds next month, is he destined to be the team's backup? Should Will Howard be put on the back burner for any of the guys drafted on the second night of the draft?

Should Will Howard be put on the back burner for any of the guys drafted on the second night of the draft? The Dolphins traded Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos and paid a hefty price to do it. Waddle is a better player than Michael Pittman Jr., but the Steelers got their guy at a major discount. Out of the 3 WR trades made in the last week or so, who made the best move? Mock Draft of the Day – Mel Kiper has the Steelers selecting Vega Ioane, the guard from Penn State.
Mike Tomlin spoke last night a gala at Acrisure Stadium, but he only made a statement. He allegedly was supposed to have a Q&A with the media, but blew them off after the event. Last night was also the final cap on the 2022 Steelers draft with Calvin Austin going to the Giants and Connor Heyward going to the Raiders. It's one of the worst drafts in Steelers history. But is it the worst? We took a little trip down memory lane. Bears expert Mark Grote from 670 The Score joined the show. Mark explained why the Steelers may have gotten a discount on Jaquan Brisker. Brisker has had 3 documented concussions in his career so far. Mark described Brisker as a ‘talker' and has no problem doing it on the field. Mark mentioned that Brisker called out the Dennis Allen defense at one point last season. Mark said Brisker is a physical player that has no problem willing to help out in run defense. His pass coverage is mediocre and probably not his best skill. Mark rated Brisker's game in other aspects of defense. Mark thinks Brisker for $5.5M is a steal for the Steelers. What makes Chicago the mecca of St. Paddy's Day? Open Phone Friday.
Mark Kaboly joins the show for the next hour. Kaboly says that it makes a lot of sense that Ty Simpson liked Mike McCarthy, given McCarthy's personality. He also says that he does not think that the Steelers are going to take a QB in round 1. An anonymous benefactor dropped off a supply drop of burgers and wings, and it has the guys all out of sorts. Anyways, Mark thinks that the Steelers will go wide receiver in round one. The release of the NFLPA report cards already has the Steelers making changes. The Steelers have changed up their type of grass at Acrisure Stadium after all of the complaints from last season. Mark does not think there is any chance that the Steelers trade DK Metcalf.
Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. The guys immediately dug into the leaked Steelers report card, which had Art Rooney rated as the worst owner in the league – citing terrible facilities, including the field at Acrisure Stadium. Should the Steelers find a way to stop high school games from happening at the stadium? Ray doesn't think this bothers Art because he claims they are working on upgrades or some new facilities. Ray doesn't think it should be shocking if the Steelers use a 3rd round pick on Drew Allar. Ray thinks any rookie QB selected by the Steelers would be QB3 for most, if not all of the season. Ray is skeptical of Ty Simpson getting 1st round buzz and does not expect the Steelers to have interest at 21st overall. Ray thinks the article listing DK Metcalf as a trade candidate is someone in the media being forced to think of a name. Ray expects the Steelers to add a free agent WR that makes roughly $15M/year.
Louis Riddick thinks it's a little bit ridiculous that the Steelers would consider Will Howard if they have a chance to draft Ty Simpson. How much better is Simpson than Howard? Poni wondered if what Austin is doing with Drew Allar is similar to what he and other Pitt fans did with Kenny Pickett a few years ago. Poni is curious if other Penn State fans are like that or if Austin has a man-crush. Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff is surprised that Joey Porter called out Ben Roethlisberger because they won a Super Bowl together. Jeff pointed out the reaction these guys get when they come back to ceremonies and such at Acrisure Stadium. Jeff said the Team MVP voting is the most critical sign that the guys didn't care for Ben as a teammate. A discussion took place on the merits of natural talent.
What are other notable Steelers saying about Joey Porter bashing Ben Roethlisberger? Not much. A few players responded to the Instagram post, but none of them want to say more about it. Poni is upset that guys that won a Super Bowl together are taking shots at each other well after their playing days. Chris has issues with both guys – could he be the great unifier? 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. How much will this game mean to QB Aaron Rodgers' legacy? Do T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward need to shake the stigma of not being able to win the big one? January 5, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 73 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 18 home win against the Baltimore Ravens, resulting in the team capturing the AFC North title. We go over what an exciting game it was and how the two oldest players on the field, QB Aaron Rodgers and DT Cameron Heyward, played a big part in the victory. Alex and I talk about how divine intervention possibly played a part in the Sunday win thanks to the pregame actions of a priest with some holy water. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Steelers' Sunday night inactive list and the transaction the team made on Saturday afternoon. RB Kenneth Gainwell was voted team MVP on Friday, so Alex and I discuss that bit of news. After going through the newsy items related to Saturday and Sunday, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium against the Ravens. We first talk about the Steelers' offense and how that side of the ball really got it going late in the first half. We discuss the failed fourth and goal play to close out the first half. The running game finally came alive late in the first half, and the passing game really followed suit in the second half. We discuss several big plays made by Pittsburgh's offense throughout the game and the contributions made in the contest by WR Calvin Austin III and TE Pat Freiermuth. We discuss how good the Steelers offense was on third downs against the Ravens. After a lengthy discussion about the Steelers' offense, Alex and I do the same with their defense. We discuss the way that unit shut down Ravens RB Derrick Henry in the second half. We also discuss the three explosive play touchdowns that Ravens QB Lamar Jackson delivered in the game. OLB T.J. Watt returned from his recent lung issue Sunday night, so we discuss the impact that he had on the win over the Ravens. The play of several individual Steelers defensive players, along with their respective snap counts, is discussed in the second half of the show. Obviously, the missed field goal by the Ravens to end the game is discussed and we make sure to go over the play of the Steelers' special teams' units on Sunday night. The Steelers will get WR DK Metcalf back for their Wild Card game against the Houston Texans next Monday night, so we make sure to highlight that. Alex and I make sure to mix in quite a few stats and tidbits throughout this show. This 105-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. On the Monday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react the NFL Week 18 victory against the Baltimore Ravens that clinched the AFC North division and a home NFL playoffs game. Is coach Mike Tomlin's team proving its resilience in the closing weeks of the season and positioning itself as a dangerous foe for the postseason? Has Aaron Rodgers' veteran influence been evident, particularly on offense with names like Kenneth Gainwell, Calvin Austin III, Jaylen Warren, Pat Freiermuth and others? And what T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Jalen Ramsey and the defense show in overcoming three long touchdown passes from Ravens QB Lamar Jackson? December 16, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 64 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Tuesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 15 Monday night win against the Miami Dolphins. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Monday night inactive list and the players that missed the contest due to injuries. We also talk about the several transactions that the team made on Monday afternoon. The Steelers sustained a few injuries Monday night, so we discuss those in addition to the outlook of several players looking to return from injuries. We also go over what Steelers HC Mike Tomlin had to say on Tuesday about OLB T.J. Watt, who missed the Monday night contest with a lung issue. Tomlin held his weekly press conference right before we recorded this episode, so Alex and I make sure to recap all of the main talking points that came out of that media session during this show. After going through the newsy items related to Monday, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium against the Dolphins. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' offense and how the Number 11 plays a big part in today's show. We discuss the play of QB Aaron Rodgers on Monday night and how T Dylan Cook represented himself well in his first NFL start. Alex and I mix in quite a few stats related to the Monday night game and we discuss how the offense came alive right before the second half ended. We go over several big plays that the offense made on Monday night and we make sure to spend extra time talking about the season that RB Kenneth Gainwell has had to date. After a lengthy discussion about the play of the Steelers' offense, Alex and then do the same with the team's defense. We discuss that unit controlling the Dolphins' rushing attack and how QB Tua Tagovailoa was made to hold the football way too ,long most of the game. We discuss several individual performances on defense, and we mix in snap counts along the way, in addition to several key stats. Finally, Alex and I give some thoughts on special teams play from Monday night. The New York Jets are reportedly waiving WR Allen Lazard on Tuesday, so we discuss the possibility and plausibility of him landing in Pittsburgh due to his association with Rodgers. Will and should the Steelers go with Cook as their starting left tackle moving forward? Alex and I address that question at length during this show. This 92-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. December 1, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 57 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 13 Sunday home loss to the Buffalo Bills. As you can probably imagine, this show begins with a lot of gloom, despair, and agony vibes. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and how the Steelers decided to sit CB Darius Slay as one of their five inactive players against the Bills. The Steelers sustained a few injuries Sunday, so we discuss what happened to ILB Patrick Queen and CB James Pierre. We also discuss QB Aaron Rodgers getting beat up more on Sunday against the Bills. The Steelers made a few transactions on Saturday with one of those being T Broderick Jones being placed on the Reserve/Injured list. We discuss Jones likely being out for the season and the offseason decision the Steelers have with him when it comes to his fifth-year option. After going through the newsy items related to Saturday and Sunday, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium against the Bills. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' defense and how poor things looked on that side of the football once again. We discuss the historical day the defense had, clearly a negative, and how the Bills offense ran at will against the unit by essentially spamming just two plays. We discuss the Steelers' defense being unable to get to Bills QB Josh Allen on Sunday and how he used his legs, instead of his arm, to really impact the game. We also discuss the coverage bust the Steelers defense had on his lone touchdown pass as well. After beating up on the defense, Alex and I go over the lackluster play from the Steelers offense against the Bills. We talk about the unit's inability to run many plays, the overall lack of a running game, and how there was no passing game down the field to speak of. We discuss a few poor decisions that QB Aaron Rodgers seemingly made against the Bills and how he remains out of sync with TE Jonnu Smith. We go over a few things Rodgers had to say postgame in addition to things that OLB T.J. Watt said to the media. We also discuss the reaction Mike Tomlin had to Sunday's loss postgame. We also talk about the poor offensive schemes and game plans that OC Arthur Smith has put on display recently. The "Fire Tomlin" chants are getting louder in Pittsburgh, so Alex and I discuss that topic. We discuss our faith and lack of faith in Tomlin moving forward. We discuss the Steelers only having two home games remaining and how Tomlin is probably thankful for that. Special teams certainly played a role in the Steelers' loss to the Bills, so Alex and I make sure to hit on what went wrong in that phase of the game on Sunday. Alex and I certainly aren't bullish at all on the Steelers when it comes to their final five games and thus playoff chances. This 109-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. November 28, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 56 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Buffalo Bills at home on Sunday afternoon. With the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens both losing on Thanksgiving, Alex and I discuss the importance of the Steelers beating the Bills at home on Sunday. We talk about how a loss to the bills could potentially limit the Steelers' Wild Card spot chances down to one spot, assuming they don't ultimately win the AFC North division. Alex and I move forward in this show by looking at the Steelers' Thursday injury report, and specifically what the current outlook is for QB Aaron Rodgers, CB Joey Porter Jr., and WR Ben Skowronek when it comes to Sunday's game. We discuss the likelihood of OL Andrus Peat being the starting left tackle on Sunday with T Broderick Jones sidelined for this Week 13 contest. The Bills are dealing with several key injuries this week as well and so Alex and I recap what their Thursday report looked like and how it seems Buffalo is likely to be without their two starting tackles on Sunday. We also talk about the Bills recently signing veteran WR Bradin Cooks and the role he might have against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. We talk about what Smith had to say about hunting for more explosive plays on offense and what Austin had to say about some of the woes the team's defense has had. We welcome Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com back to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Bills game. Parrino has covered the Bills for many seasons, and he certainly knows that team inside and out. We get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Pittsburgh and that includes his analysis of QB Josh Allen, OC Joe Brady, and the several injuries that Buffalo is dealing with this week. Parrino gives us his outlook for the 2025 Bills moving forward this season and while he doesn't give a final score prediction on Friday morning, he gives his early thoughts on how he sees the Sunday game in Pittsburgh going and which team he's leaning toward picking as the winner. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Matt on X/Twitter at @mattparrino and make sure to read his work here: https://www.syracuse.com/staff/mparrino/. After finishing with Parrino, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Steelers-Bills game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football Sunday afternoon. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for the remainder of the Week 13 NFL games provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. We also give our final score predictions for the Steelers-Bills game. This 129-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted above and we end this episode by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. November 19, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 52 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making a few transactions since our last show with one of those being the signing of QB/WR John Rhys Plumlee back to the practice squad on Tuesday. We talk about why Plumlee was likely added to the practice squad in addition to discussing why five other players were brough in for tryouts on Tuesday. Alex and I then go over the list of injured players the Steelers have heading into Week 12 with QB Aaron Rodgers obviously being our main focus due to a fracture of some kind in his left wrist. We discuss what all HC Mike Tomlin had to say on Tuesday about Rodgers possibly playing on Sunday against the Chicago Bears and whether our gut feelings tell us when it comes to that possibly happening. Should the Steelers strongly consider starting QB Mason Rudolph against the Bears regardless of what transpires this week with Rodgers? Alex and I attack that question in this show and also talk about the possibility of Rodgers being the backup on Sunday against the Bears. We also talk a little about rookie QB Will Howard possibly getting a few first-team reps this week with Rodgers slowed by injury. As usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of Tomlin Tuesday. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about playing time on Sunday for CB Darius Slay and CB James Pierre and if indeed the former will wind up resuming as the starter against the Bears if he clears concussion protocol this week. We discuss what playing time on Sunday might and should look like on Sunday against the Bears when it comes to both Slay and Pierre. Tomlin talked some about TE Darnell Washington and his usage in the offense on Tuesday, so we make sure to dive a bit deeper into those comments. We also talk about what Tomlin had to say about the reaction S Jalen Ramsey had to Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase spitting on him in the second half of the Week 11 Sunday game at Acrisure Stadium. With Chase having his one-game suspension upheld on Tuesday as part of his appeal process, Alex and I address what should happen to every player that spits on another player during a game and how the NFL needs to take a more defined punishment stance moving forward. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday home win against the Bengals now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered from that. We start with the defense and go over how that unit effectively did against the pass on Sunday and the changes that we have seen schematically the last several weeks with Ramsey and Kyle Dugger now manning the two safety positions. We also discuss the three outside linebacker packages the Steelers used on Sunday against the Bengals and how effective that was. After talking about the defensive play on Sunday, Alex and I move on to talk some about what we saw from the Steelers offense on the all-22 tape from the game against the Bengals. We were both less enthused when it came to that side of the football and we explain why. We also wonder if Rudolph might try to push the football down the field more on Sunday against the Bears should he indeed get the start in that contest over the injured Rodgers. Alex and I mix in quite a few tape observations during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well. Alex previews a tape study that he is working on when it comes to Steelers DT Keeanu Benton as well. This 110-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. November 17, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 51 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 11 Sunday afternoon home win against the Cincinnati Bengals. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and the few transactions the team has made since our Friday show. Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers sustained a left wrist injury late in the first half of the Sunday game against the Bengals and it resulted in him leaving the contest at halftime. Alex and I discuss the latest reports concerning that injury and whether Rodgers will ultimately miss a game or more as a result of it. Sunday's game included Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase spitting on Steelers S Jalen Ramsey, and it resulted in the former being ejected from that contest due to him throwing a punch. We discuss how Chase lied after the game about spitting on Ramsey and whether he or Ramsey will be suspended for any future games. We talk about Ramsey's reaction to getting spit on and how such an act is unforgivable. After going through the newsy items related to Sunday's game, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium. We talk first about the play of the Steelers defense on Sunday and that includes us discussing the individual performances of several players. We talk about Chase being limited in the passing game, Bengals QB Joe Flacco holding the football longer, and obviously the two key takeaways for scores that were registered during the second half. Steelers CB James Pierre continues to play well on Sunday, so we discuss how he deserves to play ahead of CB Darius Slay moving forward. We also discuss the bad penalty called on Steelers OLB T.J. Watt on Sunday. After discussing the play of the Steelers defense against the Bengals, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to Pittsburgh's offense. We talk a lot about how QB Mason Rudolph played in the second half and how RB Kenneth Gainwell and TE Darnell Washington made a few game-changing plays during the contest as well. We discuss the role yards after the catch played in Pittsburg's win over the Bengals and we make sure to hit on a few snap counts from that contest on that side of the football. The Steelers converted a few key third downs on offense on Sunday so we make sure to talk about that. We make sure to point out that the Steelers offense really only had two offensive possessions in the second half of Sunday's game. Alex and I provide a few thoughts on Pittsburgh's special teams play on Sunday and that includes us focusing in on one punt return that WR Calvin Austin III had in that contest. This 114-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices.
