A podcast dedicated to all things thirst. Join Allie and Jude as they discuss different people (both real and fictitious) each episode! Check us out at https://dudedontevenpodcast.tumblr.com/
Get you a man who can be good AND bad. Is Jude messed up for loving him in Cuckoo and Abigail? Maybe. But all is forgiven if Dan Stevens
We're back! Bet you thought you'd seen the last of us. But the thirst can't be stopped. 2025 started off weird so let's try and course correct by chatting about versatile actor and, in Al's highly objective opinion, one of the world's prettiest men, Jude Law!
Here's to the last episode of the year! Jude talks about her latest crush on Justin Long as a ghost-possessed substitute teacher and catching up on Dodgeball! Jeepers Creepers, where'd ya get those peepers?
While we wait for an OFMD season 3 greenlight (stop being withholding, Zaslav!) let's talk about the man who brought our favorite grumpy first mate to life. He's more than just a pirate, though, and on this episode we're exploring the diverse and fascinating career of Con O'Neill!
'Tis the season to fall back in love with Skeet Ulrich. Join Jude as she justifies her love for an iconic *fictional* killer and gush about her very first Hallmark experience with The Magic of Ordinary Days.
Today we're talking about an actor who instantly elevates every project he's in. He's brooding and tortured but can do goofy and hilarious at the drop of a hat. You know we love a versatile cutie! Dudes, let's chat about David Dastmalchian! *also we didn't get to talk about it in the episode but the man was just announced as ambassador for a casket company! how metal is that?!??
Mads Mikkelsen can do it all. He can be messy in Shake It All About, sad in Another Round, and absolutely heartbroken in The Hunt. Join Jude as she goes through an emotional rollercoaster that is Mads' cinematic journey. P.S. Don't let him bust your balls!
Tall, handsome, funny, charming AND good at acting? The subject of the pod this week proves that God really does have favorites. Dudes, let's chat all things Lee Pace!
Did you know? We're living in Darius' world. This is all a simulation and we're programmed to love our newest Disney ghost hunter, LaKeith Stanfield!
Maybe you're a new fan, maybe you only just discovered him because of Oppenheimer. Maybe you don't remember when you first saw him because you were hypnotized by his beautiful, blue eyes and captivated by his ethereal Irish presence. Whatever group you fall in, we're happy you're here to discuss Cillian Murphy!
Hold onto your hearts, folks, because Barbie's just around the corner, and you know what that means. That's right, buckle up as we delve into the captivating world of Ken...oops, we mean Ryan Gosling! Let's talk about his too-cool-for-school gaze, swoon-worthy performances, and real-life kindness that got Jude floating on cloud nine! Because if he's a bird, then we're a bird!
We're baaaack! What better way to end our hiatus than with an episode on Hollywood's nicest guy. He's been in the business for so long and yet he's still kind of an enigma. Let's take a deep dive into the life and film career of the only man I'd ever let convince me to ride a motorcycle, Keanu Reeves!
Dude, we're on break! If you're new to the channel, 1) welcome and 2) check out our other episodes (we've got Joseph Quinn, Pedro Pascal and Tobias Forge). And if you're returning, 1) thanks and 2) leave a review to tell us what's up! Until next time!
Kino Loy was a pleasant surprise. So, naturally, we had to take a deep dive into Andy Serkis' past roles and appearances. How can one man bear so much talent? And why won't he show his face more often? And why is Caesar so hot? Thats right. We said it! WHY IS CAESAR HOT?!
Did you know Diego has been acting since he was SEVEN YEARS OLD? And yet, I still feel like he's somehow underrated?? On today's episode we're talking about the many talents of Diego Luna and why he honestly should be cast in everything! Also, is anyone else still crying over Andor because I know I am!
"Toss a coin to your Witcher. Oh, Valley of Plenty!" Everyone, gather around! Let us speak of our wonderful, most fantastical actor, musician, and bard: Joey Batey! You may have avoided The Witcher, but Jude bets you've heard his voice at least once in your life. Don't believe her? Then listen up and prove her wrong.
Say what you want about American Horror Story but you gotta appreciate it for bringing Evan Peters into our lives. But now we have to come to terms with being attracted to the morally questionable characters he usually plays...
POP QUIZ: Bill Skarsgård appears at your Airbnb. What do you do? Jude says you should let him. But then again, Jude wouldn't mind dating Pennywise so...maybe don't take her advice.
Currently going through House of the Dragon withdrawal? Don't know what you're going to do without more Aemond Targaryen content for the next two years? We've got your back! On this episode we're getting to know the lovely and talented Ewan Mitchell!
We love Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but Riz Ahmed's screen time was criminal! Thankfully, Jude's here to share the spotlight. P.S. Did you know Riz played the Corinthian in Audible's The Sandman? Coincidence? We think not!
Did you love best boy Lip in Shameless? Are you obsessed with The Bear? Finding it hard to not call everyone in your life 'Chef'? Then come join us to learn more about the man we can blame all of this on, Jeremy Allen White!
As the wise Director Bong Joon-ho once said: "Steven has sexy eyes." And I couldn't agree more. We all love Glenn Rhee from The Walking Dead, but do we all love Steven Yeun? Yes. Yes. We do. NOTE: Audio's kind of funky in this one. Sorry, folks!
Maybe you've been a Ghost fan for forever. Maybe you're a new fan (hello TikTokers!). Maybe you've never heard of the Swedish metal band Ghost! Let Al introduce you to the lead singer and man behind the mask, Tobias Forge! *Also, I mention a Swedish interview that I really enjoyed. Here is the link https://sverigesradio.se/avsnitt/927252?programid=2071 and here is the translation I followed along with https://www.reddit.com/r/papa_and_ghouls/comments/6u7x2b/the_episode_of_tobias_forge_on_radio_p1_sverige/
The Sandman is live on Netflix and Jude is ready to talk about the man behind our new beloved nightmare: Boyd Holbrook.
The Eddie Munson craze has swept the world but let's take a minute to appreciate the man behind the character. Al teaches Jude about "it guy" and all around lovely dude, Joseph Quinn.
Jude falls in love with Nacho Varga and Vaas Montenegro, and the face behind both men. Only Michael Mando can whoo us with the explanation of insanity.
Time for Al to teach you about Tony Dalton! He may be best known for being a bad dude (that looks amazing) in Better Call Saul but this dude seems like such a cinnamon roll. Come along as we explore his career thus far.
Jude reveals just how apologetically shallow she is because she can't get over the loss of Bucky's long hair.
We're back! And we're ready to talk about Benicio del Toro—AKA DJ— AKA The Wolfman— AKA "HoneymOooooOOOoon."
Ok, kids. It's time to talk about the bounty hunter everyone fears and lusts after: Boba Fett. In this episode, we're going to brush up on canon Boba and then take a deeper dive into his characterization in Legends. As an aside, I don't know about y'all but that scene where he touches that chick's chin in ROTJ is seared in my brain. And I think it's a crime that he hasn't used that move on anyone in The Book of Boba Fett. Favreau will be hearing from my lawyers...
Hello there! Let's talk about our favorite Jedi— Ewan McGregor! (P.S. Jude's favorite Jedi is Plo Koon)
Can we all agree that Oscar Isaac exudes charisma? Man can easily yo-yo between sexy, scary, or sad, and we love a man that keeps us guessing
It's the most wonderful time of the year...and by that I mean it's time for the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett! In this episode we're going to talk about the bounty hunter himself, Temuera Morrison! While most people know him best from his character(s) in Star Wars, I had the best time learning about the rest of his career (the man makes everyone else look like a slacker. Idk when he sleeps). He's hot, funny, smart and exceedingly charming. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing a whole lot more of Tem in the future and I can't wait to see what other characters he'll give me to thirst over.
This week, we're covering John Boyega! Say what you want about Finn, but you can't deny how cute he was with Poe Dameron. If only we saw more! But we're not here to talk about just Finn, we're here to talk about the man behind it all! Boyega has been fighting the battle throughout his career. From giant aliens (twice, mind you) to a whole space empire, as well as the systematic injustice oppressing POC. And while Dude Don't Even Get Me Started isn't a political podcast, we'd like to acknowledge his fight against racism. I mean, the man even risked his career to say what he need to say! Get you a man who isn't afraid to stand up against evil.
Let's talk about Adam Driver! He DOES have the range. This man made me cringe in Girls, be simultaneously scared and horny in Star Wars, laugh in Logan Lucky and cry in Silence and Marriage Story. Plus he does it all while looking like a beautiful, giant wood nymph that just walked out of a hair commercial.
I think we can all agree that Domhnall Gleeson is an absolute cinnamon roll, but when he puts on that First Order suit? OH, BABY… That's a different story! Jude and Al continue their Star Wars rabbit hole and learn how to pronounce Dublin (or at least, Jude is learning).
What do the Mandalorian and Charlie Swan have in common? They're both dads, and yes, we're going to talk about them. WE INTERRUPT THIS PROGRAM with a very special episode dedicated to all the zaddies out there in the media, including, but not limited to Obi-Wan Kenobi, Wenwu, Remus Lupin, and of course, Pedro Pascal. Are they great dads? Debatable. Are they worth talking about? Oh, absolutely. SPOILER ALERT: Shang-Chi, Death Stranding, The Walking Dead
Cobb Vanth can get it. The way he wore Boba's Mandalorian suit? Chef's kiss! But we're not here just to talk about Cobb, no sir. I'm talking about our favorite glint-in-my-eye-marshal-guy, Timothy Olyphant! So tune in as we delve into his rich family history, and explore an alternate universe where Timothy can call us his family. Also, did you know Timothy played a bald character in Hitman? Much to think about...
This week we're talking about everyone's favorite fictional dad, Pedro Pascal!!! You probably know him best as The Mandalorian. I just know him as the man who gave me unrealistic expectations in men... Anyways, come learn about Pedro's life and career before he became the best father figure in the galaxy.
Come learn about the man who launched Allie's thirst all those years ago. You're lying if you say you weren't at least a little in love with him after seeing him as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings (that ethereal beauty, that blond wig, the constant somewhat worried expression. Oh baby.). Let's talk about everyone's favorite elf/pirate/all-around cool guy, Orlando Bloom!
We're going back in time and starting with Jude's childhood crush: Steve Buscemi. Yes, the Steve Buscemi. Did you know he used to work as a firefighter? And that her infatuation started with Randall? Oof. We've got loads to unpack.
