PJ Accetturo went from traditional filmmaker to running a seven-figure AI video agency, creating viral content that's been viewed millions of times. He breaks down exactly how filmmakers can adapt to AI tools without losing their creative edge. This episode covers the specific workflow, tools, and mindset shifts needed to capitalize on what PJ calls "the biggest gold rush of all time." Key Takeaways AI tools like VO3 and ChatGPT can be learned in days, but filmmakers have a huge advantage because they already understand story, pacing, and what makes content compelling The opportunity is massive right now—PJ says it's "very easy to build a seven-figure agency" because brands need AI content but most agencies haven't adapted yet You don't need to abandon traditional filmmaking; many successful approaches involve pairing experienced directors with AI specialists to create hybrid workflows The key to viral AI content is being funny, self-aware about using AI, and creating content that surprises and delights audiences rather than boring them About PJ Accetturo PJ is a seasoned innovator in the TV and advertising space, having served as CEO for multiple media companies and bringing over 15 years of industry experience. He first gained recognition at 18 when National Geographic showcased his work, setting the stage for a career creating content for global powerhouses like Toyota, Red Bull, The Atlanta Braves, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As a commercial director, he spent over a decade working with some of the world's biggest brands. In 2019, PJ demonstrated his knack for audience engagement by growing a YouTube channel from zero to one million subscribers in six months. He then turned his sights to long-form storytelling, raising millions to produce his original animated series, Ghosts of Ruin, where he served as writer and Executive Producer. That project saw him collaborating daily with an Oscar-nominated director, a two-time Emmy-winning showrunner, Hans Zimmer's music team, and an A-list voice cast featuring Rosario Dawson, Justin Long, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Tony Revolori. Motivated to shorten production timelines and reduce costs, PJ is spearheading new processes with generative AI. With a commitment to ethical data training, he is now working to create world-class media with AI-powered workflows. In This Episode [00:00] Welcome to the show! Very easy, very quickly." - PJ Accetturo "Winners only... to anyone who's not wanting to adapt quickly, like displacement's coming." - PJ Accetturo "Your greatest skill is that we know how to get exposure on a camera and frame a good shot, like that's going to be tough to build a business off of. But if you can know more strategy and understand story structure... that's our unique advantage." – Ryan Koral "Everyone in the AI industry that has attention right now, most of them are not traditionally filmmakers... but the opportunity here, if everyone doesn't know is like whether you yourself are a traditional filmmaker for 10, 15 years, you can learn the tools in a few days, two weeks max." - PJ Accetturo Guest Links Find PJ Accetturo online Follow PJ Accetturo on Instagram | X Check out PJ's newsletter - AI Filmmaking Links FREE Workshop Available "How to Consistently Earn Over $100k Per Year in Video Production While Working Less Than 40 Hours Per Week" Join the Grow Your Video Business Facebook Group Follow Ryan Koral on Instagram Follow Grow Your Video Business on Instagram Check out the full show notes

What's the most powerful tool a leader has? It's not a business strategy or a software program. It's their own self-awareness. In a recent conversation with author Justin Long, a key theme emerged: The path to exceptional leadership starts with an internal journey. By understanding your own emotional patterns and motivations, you can make the shift from reactive to intentional leadership. This is about being deliberate in your decisions and actions, rather than just responding to external pressures. Once you know yourself, you can truly see your team. Every person is different, and the most effective leaders understand these differences. Using personality frameworks and simply asking questions can help you communicate better and empower people to do what they do best.

PG-13 rating be damned, Drag Me To Hell (2009) might be one of the most horrifying movies we've covered yet. Between the flies and the mucusy sound effects and the embalming fluid, it isn't afraid to go for the gross-out factor — and the timing packed a powerful punch, too. Despite being penned a decade earlier after writer-director Sam Raimi wrapped up the original Evil Dead franchise, this flick's release landed it smack-dab in the middle of the late 00s housing crisis, something that's surprisingly relevant to the setup. On our latest Spooky Tuesday, we're diving deep into the discourse as we talk throat goats, Justin Long, diet culture, and White Phillip. In this episode of the HX podcast, as part of our "Well at Work" series, I had the privilege of speaking with Justin Long, an author who shared his incredible story of resilience. I was so impacted by his journey, which he says truly began when he got sober at age 32 after years as a "raging alcoholic filled with self-loathing". Justin recounts growing up in an emotionally dysfunctional household, shaped by generational trauma, where he was made to feel he had no value. This led him to a life of searching for external validation through alcohol and other harmful behaviors. Justin's path to healing has been a lifelong journey involving AA, a pivotal mentor named Roland, and transformative trauma therapy. We talk about how he learned to develop self-awareness, challenge those negative beliefs instilled in him since childhood, and shift from self-loathing to self-love. He now applies these profound lessons to his leadership role at Spring Hill Equine Veterinary Clinic, where he focuses on knowing himself to lead himself, understanding his team as individuals, and creating a positive culture where people can grow. His message is a powerful reminder that if you don't feel good about who you are, you have the power to change that. If you'd like to check out his books, click here for more details. I hope you enjoy this episode! Stacie More episodes at StacieBaird.com.

Beef Tallow: What It Is And Why You Shouldn't Be Cooking With It “If beef tallow had an honest ad, it might read like this: “Craving a taste of the 1960s, when heart attacks were en vogue and high blood pressure was the norm? Then let me introduce you to… beef tallow!” Once a kitchen staple, tallow is staging an epic comeback, fueled by nostalgia, influencer hype, and misinformation disguised as health advice(1). Before you jump on the tallow train, it's worth a closer look at what it's really made of.” Learn more in today's episode written by Justin Long at Switch4Good.org #vegan #plantbased #plantbasedbriefing #beeftallow #seedoils #farmsteading #nostalgianutrition =============== Original post: https://switch4good.org/beef-tallow/ Related Episodes: 1032: What's the Deal With All the Seed Oil Conspiracies? https://plantbasedbriefing.libsyn.com/1032-whats-the-deal-with-all-the-seed-oil-conspiracies-by-charlotte-pointing-at-vegnewscom 1036: Beef Tallow for Health: A Political-Commercial Farce https://plantbasedbriefing.libsyn.com/1036-beef-tallow-for-health-a-political-commercial-farce-by-nelson-huber-disla-at-nutritionstudiesorg 1037: [Part 1] Should We Avoid Oils for Optimal Health? Zach Cregger films. Sarah Watt, Jeremy Downing and William Chen discuss Weapons (2025) and Barbarian (2022). Our conversation begins with our experiences watching Barbarian for the first time and it quickly weaves into our reactions to watching Zach Cregger's latest film Barbarian. We make connections between the films and with Heretic (2024), Longlegs (2024), The Shining (1980), Carnivàle (2003-2005), Magnolia (1999), Prisoners (2013), and No Country For Old Men (2007). We praise the work of Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård and Justin Long in Barbarian, and Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Benadict Wong, Alden Ehrenreich, Toby Huss and Amy Madigan in Weapons.
Zach Cregger follows up his 2022 surprise hit Barbarian with another bout of sneaky horror with Weapons. Centered around a town grappling with a singular classroom of missing children, Cregger's sophomore feature-length film turns a microscope into a Fresnel lens to heat up the rot of an empathy-starved community: safety, routine, and comfort crumbling into dust amidst hidden dangers and inexplicable tragedy. The question is, does it stick the landing? Tune in to our review to find out.
Kat Hughes (The Hollywood News, and Darren Gaskell (The HD Movie Podcast) join Flixwatcher to review Barbarian. Barbarian (2022) is the debut horror film from write and director Zach (Weapons) Cregger. It stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, and Justin Long. A double booked Airbnb rental turns into a nightmare when a secret basement is discovered and the guests are not alone. Recommendability scores for Barbarian were mixed, given its gore and shock moments any non horror fans will probably find it too much, however, if you love to be shocked then go for it! Despite the low recommendability scores Barbarian still scores a respectable 4.03 overall. Lindsay Lohan & Jamie Lee Curtis month continues as we take a look at two big hits from the primes of their respective careers: Herbie: Fully Loaded and A Fish Called Wanda! For Herbie, Disney relied on Lindsay to revive a dormant franchise, teaming her up with Michael Keaton, Justin Long, and Matt Dillon. Although it received mixed reviews, the film was a box office success and one of the final hits of Lohan's career. Our hosts break down whether it's deserving of Millennial classic status, or if it should be left behind. For Wanda, Curtis parlayed her BAFTA-winning breakout in Trading Places to a role in the John Cleese-penned crime comedy. The film wasn't only a smash hit, becoming the 7th highest grossing film of 1988, but received 3 Oscar nominations, with Kevin Kline winning for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. We discuss our favorite scenes and performances of one of the funniest movies we've ever covered on the show. What's your favorite Jamie Lee Curtis movie? Let us know at cinemaontappodcast@gmail.com

Galaxy Quest was one of the great summer movies of 1999. Except it was released, for some reason, at Christmas. Lovingly sending up television sci-fi of a certain era - and heavily grounded in Star Trek - Galaxy Quest was a modest success as 30th highest grossing movie of 1999 The second feature film, both overall and in as many years following the Vince Gilligan-penned Home Fries with Drew Barrymore and Luke Wilson in 1998, from accomplished television director Dean Parisot, and witten by David Howard and Rob Gordon, Galaxy Quest stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Enrico Colantoni, Tony Shaloub, Sam Rockwell, Darryl Chill Mitchell, Robin Sachs, Patrick Breen, Missy Pyle, Jeb Rees, and Rain Wilson and Justin Long in their film debuts. Galaxy Quest has gone on to become one of the great cult films (and most enduring comedies) ever. So we invited culture writer Annie Berke to see how it holds up a quarter century later. Oh, and we basically write the sequel! Annie is on Bluesky @sayanniething

Every main character undergoes a clear arc, moving from cynicism to heroism. Alan Rickman's subtle performance stands out even in a broad comedy. The film smartly deconstructs sci-fi tropes while respecting their place in the genre. Galaxy Quest was ahead of its time in showing the value and meaning of geek culture. The 2019 documentary Never Surrender deepens appreciation for the film's legacy. The upcoming Galaxy Quest series has potential if it honors the original's spirit. Memorable Quotes "You deserve that. And for me, at my best, I need to feel this in my soul to give that to you." (Frank on Alan Rickman's final catchphrase scene) "If the cast of the show was bigger fans of their own show, they would have survived better." (Thomas on how fandom knowledge matters in Galaxy Quest's story) "Tim Allen went from Home Improvement uncertainty to being Buzz Lightyear. This movie came right at that transition." (Frank on Tim Allen's career at the time of Galaxy Quest) "Every conversation moves the story forward. This movie is so well-paced and tight." (Thomas on the film's editing and structure) Call to Action If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe to Challenge Accepted, leave us a review, and share the podcast with a fellow movie lover.
