THANKS TO ANDREW FOR MAKING THE INTRO SONG. (soundcloud.com / andoryukesuta)@andoryukesuta Victor Salva is a filmmaker best known for directing Jeepers Creepers (2001), but his career has been marked by serious legal issues. In 1988, during the production of his first feature film, Clownhouse, Salva was convicted of child exploitation-related crimes involving one of the film's young actors, Nathan Forrest Winters. This led to a prison sentence, of which he served 15 months before being released on parole. Despite his conviction, Salva was able to continue working in Hollywood, later directing Powder (1995) and the Jeepers Creepers franchise. His continued presence in the industry has been a source of controversy, with many questioning how he was able to regain opportunities despite his past crimes. Casey is an adolescent boy whose life is constantly influenced by his intense fear of clowns. His two older brothers, Geoffrey and Randy, are mostly disobliging. One night, the three boys are left alone so they decide to visit a local circus, despite Casey's uncontrollable coulrophobia. While at the circus, Casey innocently visits a fortune teller and she reveals to him that his life line has been cut short. Meanwhile, three psychotic mental patients, who have escaped an insane asylum, murder three clowns and steal their identities of Cheezo, Bippo, and Dippo by taking their makeup and costumes. As the boys return home from the circus, the mental patients target their home. Casey and his brothers are locked inside their isolated farmhouse and the power is turned off. Casey attempts to call the police, but the police officer assumes that Casey's fear of clowns caused him to have a realistic nightmare. Randy, disbelieving that clowns are after them, plans to jump out at Geoffrey and Casey dressed as a clown but he is stabbed by one of the mental patients. Geoffrey manages to kill Bippo by hitting him with a wooden plank, knocking him down a flight of stairs and breaking his neck. Casey and Geoffrey push Dippo out a window to his death. The boys find Randy unconscious in a closet and drag him into another room. Geoffrey is then attacked by Cheezo, who chases Casey into the upstairs game room. Casey manages to hide but after the clown leaves, Casey accidentally steps on a noise-making toy, alerting Cheezo of his location. Cheezo attempts to strangle Casey, but Geoffrey slams a hatchet into his back, finally killing him.

Melky and Goobie go full "Jeepers Creepers" as they dive into the murky depths of fantasy football! With playoff spots creeping closer, they're deciding who to keep (like a touchdown pass from Mahomes) and who to disown (looking at you, Mr. Butterfingers). By the end, they're channeling the Creeper himself, hunting for fresh fantasy prey and laughing at their league-mates' missteps. “Keep your eyes peeled... because someone's bound to fumble!”

O'Neill eats brake dust grown basil then he fantasies about pushing people over who are taking dumps in the wilderness. Andy puts his pants in the oven while Arron puts his pants in the freezer. Then Andy wants to take out a life insurance policy on O'Neill because he keeps doing dangerous stuff. Then Ryan has a bone to pick with Transcendental Mediation and Andy's friend gets a heck of deal on mantras. Then the boys unpack Tucker Carlson's bed demon and how to use the “demon defense” for cheating. Then Ryan unpacks the darkness behind Jeepers Creepers. Then the police come for a jury duty dodger.
I had a wonderful time speaking to Marieh regarding her role in one of the best horror sequels ever made. We talked about her role and the aspect of her character and how much of a badass she is. And, we may have digressed a bit talking about psychology and serial killers – but as you can see, that can go hand in hand with the horror community. I can honestly say that Marieh is a wonderful and talented actress, and I would absolutely love to see her in more movies in the future. Perhaps she will one day get to work with Martin Scorsese. Hopefully, the right people will see this interview and pass the word along.
Alright, monster slayers, it's time for the grand finale of our three-part A.I. adventure! This time, Jon and Adrian sit down with Craig Elimeliah, Chief Creative Officer at Code and Theory. He's built teams and ideas in this wild A.I. era, where innovation meets a dash of chaos. We dive into how A.I. is shaking up the design world and why curiosity and experimentation are now our superpowers—especially with machines doing more heavy lifting. And of course, no episode is complete without a little monster talk. This round, we're dishing on creatures like the one from Jeepers Creepers, Data, the Blank Page (terrifying, right?), and even... squirrels. Yes, those tiny terrors make the list, too. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Send us a textWhat makes a horror franchise legendary? Is it the chills that linger long after the credits roll, or the uncanny characters that haunt our dreams? Buckle up for a spine-tingling journey as hosts Tom, Mitch, and Hayden count down the top 10 horror franchises of all time. Starting with Mitch's number 10 pick, "Nightmare on Elm Street," we unravel the twisted appeal of Freddy Krueger and ponder the series' struggle with consistency. We also dissect how franchises like "Jeepers Creepers" lost their initial spark and why "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" keeps us coming back for more terror. Get ready to embrace both the nostalgic and the new, as our conversation shifts to the evolution of horror classics. From the action-packed realms of "Resident Evil" to the chilling authenticity of the early "Paranormal Activity" films, we investigate what hooks audiences to these stories. Weighing in on the merits of recent remakes, the team doesn't shy away from the gory details of how these films balance horror and storytelling. With a nod to the suspenseful allure of "Predator" and the haunting atmosphere of the "Conjuring" series, this episode is a must-listen for any horror aficionado. But we're not all slashers and ghouls—our discussion takes a detour to examine adaptations and their fidelity to original lore. From Amazon's take on "Warhammer" to Netflix's audacious "Terminator Zero," the importance of authenticity is put under the microscope. We wrap up with reflections on the heartfelt legacy of "The Grand Tour," a nostalgic touchstone that leaves us entertained yet sentimental. Ash and former co-host Cam talk about the nuts-o shenanigans that went down on the Galapagos island of Floreana in the early 1930s in the last episode of season 4 from 2021! Jeepers Creepers!Ash covers nudist, Nietzsche obsessed, metal denture sharing, German couple Dr. Friedrich Ritter and his younger lover Dore Strauch, and what happened on the small, desolate island of Floreana shortly after their arrival. Arriving to a deserted and barren island, the pair quickly became internationally known as "the modern day Adam and Eve". They were enjoying their privacy until two unwanted parties arrived: the Wittmers, a German family of four, and a gunslinging, self-proclaimed Austrian Baroness, accompanied by her two adoring lovers/servants who, at her behest, battled daily for her affection. Today on the show, Justin powers through having a full bladder to talk about his experience at a silent meditation retreat (don't worry there's a fart story in there), but Christian worries his “resting bitch personality” might make it hard for him to enjoy a retreat like that. Longtime Shorty Hayley writes in praising “Jeepers Creepers” and talking about the challenges in her job as a vet tech. Then a question she asks sparks a debate about whether the guys could eat a friend's arm. Finally, Stephanie from Madison, Wisconsin writes in to ask what movie the guys saw way too young. In our annual Halloween episode, we discuss Dennis Depue, the inspiration for the creature in Jeepers Creepers. Like Depue, there have been many real-life cold-blooded killers who have inspired horror movies. These include Ed Gein, Ted Bundy, Gary Heidnik, John Wayne Gacy, and Ronald Defeo Jr., to name a few. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Dennis Depue, a man who blamed his ex-wife for all his troubles. If there was a common theme in his life, nothing was his fault. He blamed his ex-wife Marilynn for leaving him and for his children siding with their mother. It culminated in 1990 when Dennis murdered Marilynn and dumped her body off the side of the road. But, it just so happened that a couple out for a drive saw him and phoned it into police as suspicious.
