The time has finally come for us to talk about one of our most beloved television series ever made - we're talking about the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul. This Peter Gould/Vince Gilligan led project arrived on the scene with the possible stench of spin-off cynicism, but went on to deliver six seasons of methodical character-based storytelling that not only expanded on the lore of its original series, but ended up improving upon it. Better Call Saul stars Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seahorn, Michael Mando, Michael McKean, and Patrick Fabian.

Q&A on the AMC series Better Call Saul with actor Michael Mando. Moderated by Jenelle Riley, Variety. He wasn't always Saul Goodman, ace attorney for chemist-turned-meth dealer Walter White. He's a forceful champion for his low-income clients, an underdog whose morals and ambitions often clash. On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Sony has reportedly cut production plans for the PlayStation 5 by around one million consoles due to component shortages and logistic constraints. And with less consoles being produced, it could be harder to buy one. A report from Bloomberg cites sources familiar with Sony's operations. Those sources claim that Sony was originally targeting more than 16 million PS5s to have been produced in the year ending March 2022, but that figure has been cut down to about 15 million. Ubisoft has announced that Vaas: Insanity, the first of Far Cry 6's roguelike premium expansions will arrive on Tuesday, November 16. According to a press release the DLC – which sees actor Michael Mando return to play the iconic villain role – will be available for players to download on November 16 and can be purchased as part of the game's Season Pass. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction will arrive on January 20, 2022, and the price of the standard edition has been lowered to $39.99 USD. Ubisoft announced that the PvE shooter spin-off from Rainbow Six Siege will arrive with full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression. It will also introduce a cross-play Buddy Pass – every copy of the game comes with two passes to invite other players to play free for 14 days. Any progress made during that time will be transferred to the full game if trialists decide to buy the full game. Narz has all that in your Daily Fix!

In this episode Mark talks about one of his favourite TV shows: the American crime drama television series "Better Call Saul" created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. Both a spin-off of, as well as a prequel to, the successful TV series "Breaking Bad", created by Vince Gilligan, the series revolves around the character of Jimmy McGill - an earnest lawyer and former con-man - and his series-long transformation into becoming the greedy criminal defense attorney and fan favourite "Saul Goodman". The series also serves to dramatise vital moments in the back story of several "Breaking Bad" characters and their connections to one another - such as: Mike Ehrmantraut (played by Jonathan Banks), Gus Fring (played by Giancarlo Esposito); and the series also introduces characters who Jimmy/Saul has a personal relationship with, as well as a more business-like relationship to, such as: Jimmy's brother Chuck McGill (played by Michael McKean), Howard Hamlin (played by Patrick Fabian), Nacho Varga (played by Michael Mando), Lalo Salamanca (played by Tony Dalton), and Jimmy's former colleague and love interest Kim Wexler (played by Rhea Seehorn) who undergoes a compelling evolution as a character throughout the series similar to that of, and definitely influenced by, Jimmy McGill's transformation into Saul Goodman - and it remains to be seen where the character of Kim Wexler is during the time of "Breaking Bad", and during the flash-foward events when Saul Goodman has become Gene Takavic, the manager of a Cinnabon store in Omagh, Nebreska, living as a fugitive from the law. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/markthepoet/message
