Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature  and complete, not lacking anything.  (James 1:2-4) Pray for One Another's Perseverance (Colossians 1:9-12) Learn from Older Men and Women You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.  (Titus 2:1-2) Be Encouraged through Scripture For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance  taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.  (Romans 15:4) Consider Christ's Example (Hebrews 12:1-2)
