Petrit Halilaj „AN OPERA OUT OF TIME“ > > > Zur Ausstellung Catherine Nichols ist Literaturwissenschaftlerin, Autorin und Kuratorin. *** In episode 57, Felix von Boehm and Charlotte Paulus speak with Catherine Nichols, curator at Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart, about contemporary art from Kosovo. The conversation begins with a look at “Just Hanging Around #2” (2017) by Flaka Haliti – a large-scale silk curtain in shades of grey, blue, and pink. Thanks to the support of the JUNGEN FREUNDE der Nationalgalerie, the work was recently acquired for the Nationalgalerie's collection. Haliti, who was nominated for the Preis der Nationalgalerie in 2019, combines social observation with poetic visual language in her practice. Flaka Haliti „JUST HANGING AROUND #2“ > > >  About the work Following this, the episode is dedicated to the exhibition “An Opera Out of Time” by Petrit Halilaj at Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart. Opening during Berlin Art Week 2025, this is Halilaj's first major solo exhibition in Berlin. Developed in collaboration with the Kosovo Philharmonic, the show explores the idea of collective dreams as a way to imagine and shape new worlds. Petrit Halilaj „AN OPERA OUT OF TIME“ > > > About the exhibition Catherine Nichols is a literary scholar, author, and curator. She has curated numerous exhibitions, was artistic director of the “beuys 2021” program, and curator of Manifesta 14 in Pristina (Kosovo).

Invasion of the Punk Rockers, Who Drink Blood!: An Ashwood Story (Ashwood Stories) Invasion of the Punk Rockers, Who Drink Blood!A Vampire Horror-Punk Thriller for Rebels, Outcasts, and Anyone Who's Ever Slammed in a Basement Mosh Pit.Bax Laywright and his punk band, Ashwood Commons, are used to being outsiders in the buttoned-up Bible Belt town of Ashwood, Kentucky. They've got fire in their guitars, rebellion in their lyrics, and no patience for small-town conformity. But when a mysterious music collective invites them to play a warehouse show in Louisville, it's the break they've been dying for—until the night turns into a blood-soaked nightmare. The venue? An abandoned slaughterhouse called The Abattoir. The headliner? A gothic band called Crimson Thirst. The fans? Not all of them are human. What starts as a killer show quickly spirals into a trap laid by actual vampires using the underground punk scene to hunt, hypnotize, and harvest the young and rebellious. Bax and his band barely escape with their lives—but the real horror begins when the vampires follow them home. Now, Ashwood Commons isn't just trying to make it out of their dead-end town—they're trying to save it.Armed with guitars, guts, and DIY determination, these teens must rally their scene, outsmart an ancient predator, and fight back before their hometown becomes the next stop on Crimson Thirst's never-ending tour of terror. If The Lost Boys formed a band with Buffy, played a show in Jennifer's Body, and were managed by the ghost of Sid Vicious, you'd get Invasion of the Punk Rockers, Who Drink Blood!—a fierce, funny, and terrifying novel that fuses vampire horror with the raw heart of punk rock.Perfect for fans of:

In this must-see BlackHat 2025 interview, Doug White sits down with Michael Callahan, CMO at Salt Security, for a high-stakes conversation about Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and the massive API security risks reshaping the cyber landscape. Broadcast live from the CyberRisk TV studio at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, the discussion pulls back the curtain on how autonomous AI agents and centralized MCP hubs could supercharge productivity—while also opening the door to unprecedented supply chain vulnerabilities. From “shadow MCP servers” to the concept of an “API fabric,” Michael explains why these threats are evolving faster than traditional security measures can keep up, and why CISOs need to act before it's too late. Viewers will get rare insight into the parallels between MCP exploitation and DNS poisoning, the hidden dangers of API sprawl, and why this new era of AI-driven communication could become a hacker's dream. At Black Hat 2025, live from the Cyber Risk TV studio in Las Vegas, Jackie McGuire sits down with Apiiro Co-Founder & CEO Idan Plotnik to unpack the real-world impact of AI code assistants on application security, developer velocity, and cloud costs. With experience as a former Director of Engineering at Microsoft, Idan dives into what drove him to launch Apiiro — and why 75% of engineers will be using AI assistants by 2028. From 10x more vulnerabilities to skyrocketing API bloat and security blind spots, Idan breaks down research from Fortune 500 companies on how AI is accelerating both innovation and risk. What you'll learn in this interview: - Why AI coding tools are increasing code complexity and risk - The massive cost of unnecessary APIs in cloud environments - How to automate secure code without slowing down delivery - Why most CISOs fail to connect security to revenue (and how to fix it) - How Apiiro's Autofix AI Agent helps organizations auto-fix and auto-govern code risks at scale This isn't just another AI hype talk. It's a deep dive into the future of secure software delivery — with practical steps for CISOs, CTOs, and security leaders to become true business enablers.

Mighty Blue On The Appalachian Trail: The Ultimate Mid-Life Crisis

This interview was four years in the making, with Maddie Boehm our main guest, four years after we first made contact. It was worth the wait, as Maddie talks about her somewhat tricky start with backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. She was badly under-prepared for what she would face, but her resilience and her ability to learn from her mistakes were what pushed her through. Along the way, she discovered something within her that had eluded her for much of her life. Maddie talks about plus-size girls, hoping that her own stories will inspire others who may doubt that they have it within them to undertake a long distance hike. Her answer is that, yes, you can. You can follow Maddie on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/rescueroamingthewild/ We catch up again with Beth and Andrew, who have reached their twelfth state, and are finding community both on and off trail. They had dinner with Betty and her husband Bruce. Meanwhile, Dave is within two weeks of Katahdin and pushing through Maine. Here, he is at the 2,000-mile marker. I used my hike last year on the South West Coast Path in the UK to help raise money for my absolute favorite charity, Parenting Matters, on whose board I've been privileged to serve for over a decade. This week Julie, and Chrissa are joined by return guest Lisa Boehm, a speaker, podcaster and author. Lisa was a content mother, wife, and healthcare professional when the unthinkable happened and her 17 year old daughter died in a car accident. Her life quickly became divided into 2 distinct timelines: before and after. Focusing on holding her little family together seemed like the right thing to do, but Lisa lost herself to darkness and suicidal ideation for a while until she allowed herself the space and time to feel her pain. In this episode we dive into Lisa's experience with burnout while educating and helping others in their own grief. Listen to Lisa's first appearance on the show here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1RKg1VwHLa1mh8V1E8vhC3?si=ErVn5UGTSJ2KMdg-DjknCwConnect with Lisa online: Podcast: https://www.risingstrongpodcast.comSpeaking: https://lisakboehm.kartra.com/page/speakingTo start behavioral or mental health services in Iowa call Heart and Solutions at (800) 531-4236. Connect with Heart and Solutions online at:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2dWKD6TenIMIC76ctq21YNYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPmrcmi5HUINpWEjHfHzTnQ/featuredPodcast Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/YouNeedaCounselorHeart and Solutions Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/HeartandsolutionsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/you_need_a_counselor/Web: http://www.heartandsolutions.net

July 14, 1994. Rochester, Pennsylvania. After leaving her home, 14-year old Sarah Boehm goes missing and a cryptic letter is soon found inside her bedroom. Even though Sarah supposedly wrote about being in a relationship with an abusive man and expressed a desire to run away, the authorities question the legitimacy of the letter and wonder if it may have been intended to mislead the investigation. Over three months later, a murdered Jane Doe is found 50 miles away in the Berlin Lake Wildlife Area in Ohio and in 2003, the victim is positively identified as Sarah. It turns out that the body of another murdered girl, 17-year old Kathryn Menendez, was found in the same wildlife area one month after Sarah originally went missing. Even though Kathryn lived only a few miles away and there is no apparent connection between the two victims, investigators explore the possibility that they were both killed by the same perpetrator. This week's episode of “The Trail Went Cold” covers the murders of two teenage girls which have gone unsolved for 30 years and we will also briefly discuss the murder of 16-year old Anna Marie Callahan, which took place in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania in October 1995. Special thanks to listener Maria Milchman for narrating the opening of this episode. Join us on Saturday, April 24 at 8:00pm ET for an online streaming marathon where we will be watching classic segments from “Unsolved Mysteries”.
