In the 63rd episode of KUNSTPAUSE, Felix von Boehm and Charlotte Paulus speak with curator Lisa Botti, curator at the Neue Nationalgalerie, and the artist Beeple (Mike Winkelmann) about the exhibition Beeple. Regular Animals. At the center of the conversation is Beeple's installation Regular Animals (2025), in which autonomous robotic dogs with hyper realistic heads of cultural and tech figures move through the space. They capture and process images using artificial intelligence and generate new visual outputs that reflect on perception, authorship, and the growing influence of algorithmic systems on image production today. Beeple's practice, shaped by his long running Everydays series, marks a shift in how digital art enters institutional contexts. Together with Lisa Botti, we discuss the challenges and possibilities of exhibiting AI based works in a museum and how the Neue Nationalgalerie approaches display and mediation.

Host Doug Beitz speaks with author Traver Boehm about redefining modern manhood through actualized masculinity, a concept that encourages men to embrace a full spectrum of expression ranging from the primal to the divine. Boehm argues against the narrow societal choice between being a stoic, hyper-masculine "lone cowboy" or a passive "nice guy," advocating instead for a life where men have the freedom and choice to access both their strength and their emotional depth. A significant portion of the discussion focuses on Boehm's experiences in extended dark retreats, where he used total isolation to strip away distractions and forge a profound relationship with his soul and intuition. By sharing stories of personal hardship and the discipline of listening to one's body, the source serves to demystify male intuition as a practical, vital tool for navigating life's challenges. Ultimately, the conversation promotes a movement toward living a unified, aligned life that replaces "quiet desperation" with authentic power and emotional intelligence. WHY IS THE US GOVERNMENT BUYING BUSINESSES? The federal government keeps buying "shares" of certain businesses that Trump has decided have some national security implications and I don't like it. Neither does Eric Boehm for Reason.com as he wrote about why this is a bad idea here. We will discuss today at 12:30.
Just 14 years old. A shy girl. A cheerleader. A member of the school band. One warm summer night, she told her older brother she was walking to a friend's house for a sleepover. She never showed up. A few months later, hunters found her body in a secluded wooded area of an Ohio state park, two hours away from her Pennsylvania home. It took nine years for authorities to identify her remains through DNA testing. More than three decades later, her killer has never been found. Her family has never received the justice or closure they so desperately want. This is the story of Sarah Rae Boehm. In this must-see BlackHat 2025 interview, Doug White sits down with Michael Callahan, CMO at Salt Security, for a high-stakes conversation about Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and the massive API security risks reshaping the cyber landscape. Broadcast live from the CyberRisk TV studio at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, the discussion pulls back the curtain on how autonomous AI agents and centralized MCP hubs could supercharge productivity—while also opening the door to unprecedented supply chain vulnerabilities. From “shadow MCP servers” to the concept of an “API fabric,” Michael explains why these threats are evolving faster than traditional security measures can keep up, and why CISOs need to act before it's too late. Viewers will get rare insight into the parallels between MCP exploitation and DNS poisoning, the hidden dangers of API sprawl, and why this new era of AI-driven communication could become a hacker's dream. At Black Hat 2025, live from the Cyber Risk TV studio in Las Vegas, Jackie McGuire sits down with Apiiro Co-Founder & CEO Idan Plotnik to unpack the real-world impact of AI code assistants on application security, developer velocity, and cloud costs. With experience as a former Director of Engineering at Microsoft, Idan dives into what drove him to launch Apiiro — and why 75% of engineers will be using AI assistants by 2028. From 10x more vulnerabilities to skyrocketing API bloat and security blind spots, Idan breaks down research from Fortune 500 companies on how AI is accelerating both innovation and risk. What you'll learn in this interview: - Why AI coding tools are increasing code complexity and risk - The massive cost of unnecessary APIs in cloud environments - How to automate secure code without slowing down delivery - Why most CISOs fail to connect security to revenue (and how to fix it) - How Apiiro's Autofix AI Agent helps organizations auto-fix and auto-govern code risks at scale This isn't just another AI hype talk. It's a deep dive into the future of secure software delivery — with practical steps for CISOs, CTOs, and security leaders to become true business enablers. Mighty Blue On The Appalachian Trail: The Ultimate Mid-Life Crisis
This interview was four years in the making, with Maddie Boehm our main guest, four years after we first made contact. It was worth the wait, as Maddie talks about her somewhat tricky start with backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. She was badly under-prepared for what she would face, but her resilience and her ability to learn from her mistakes were what pushed her through. Along the way, she discovered something within her that had eluded her for much of her life. Maddie talks about plus-size girls, hoping that her own stories will inspire others who may doubt that they have it within them to undertake a long distance hike. Her answer is that, yes, you can. You can follow Maddie on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/rescueroamingthewild/ We catch up again with Beth and Andrew, who have reached their twelfth state, and are finding community both on and off trail. They had dinner with Betty and her husband Bruce. Meanwhile, Dave is within two weeks of Katahdin and pushing through Maine. Here, he is at the 2,000-mile marker. I used my hike last year on the South West Coast Path in the UK to help raise money for my absolute favorite charity, Parenting Matters, on whose board I've been privileged to serve for over a decade. You can learn more about the hike and the organization–and donate–by visiting https://parentingmattersfl.org/eventer/hike-with-steve-empowering-parents-one-step-at-a-time/edate/2024-04-15/. Grief is one of life's most painful teachers—but in the darkness, there can be light. In this powerful and heartfelt episode of The Midlife Makeover Show, Wendy sits down with Lisa Boehm, a certified grief educator, inspirational speaker, and author of Journey to Healing: A Mother's Guide to Navigating Child Loss. After the unimaginable loss of her 17-year-old daughter Katie, Lisa turned her pain into purpose by creating a supportive community for grieving mothers and sharing practical tools for healing. Together, Wendy and Lisa dive deep into the raw reality of grief, the myths that keep us silent, and the healing power of embracing both sorrow and joy. Lisa shares her “H.O.P.E.” pillars—four transformative strategies to carry you through grief of any kind, whether it's the loss of a loved one, a relationship, your health, or your identity. This conversation will comfort your soul, open your heart, and remind you that even in the depths of loss, you are not alone.
