It's that time of year again - our annual pilgrimage through the 10 Best Picture nominees. Join us as we try to figure out what is wrong with the French, why movies are so goddamn long, and which movies Rebecca didn't watch. 

It's the movie that made croquet cool, sort of – we are discussing the quirky cult classic 'Heathers', with our special guest Heather, who is actually a Veronica. Go grab your scrunchie, teen angst, and go go Power Rangers!

It's a horror minisode! Join C&C for a safe space to talk about blood and guts. 

Cannibalism has never been so sweet in the coming-of-age romantic horror Bones and All. We will nosh on such topics as how to pull off a fishing vest, subtle haunted houses, and which one of us is an expert dick-spotter. Be sure to eat before you listen. 

It's another kid episode, which means it's a twofer – we'll review Inside Out 2 AND find all of our glaring shortcomings as parents. Strap in as we discuss the ins-and-outs of puberty, anxiety, boybands, and how parents just don't understand.

The title of this movie is a mouthful, so we came up with some alternates: "If Art School was a Movie", "Like Monty Python, but Without the Punchline", "Cinematic Ambien", "If Liver Pâté were a Movie" and "Sketch Comedy for Depressed People". I hope you join us as we explore "A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence", but you probably won't because we are the only 3 people who have seen it. 

Today we're discussing The Master, which is not about golf championships, powerpoint templates, or advanced degrees. P. T. Anderson's MASTERpiece (god i'm so sorry) manages to outsmart us with a man that drinks film developer. Join us as we learn absolutely nothing about carrier pigeons. 

Indescribable! Indestructible! Nothing can stop it! This week we discuss James Gunn's homage to schlocky B-horror movies, Slither. We'll discuss whether we are pro- or anti- boscis, how many of ‘them things' are needed, and who knows - maybe we'll do some shadow work along the way.
