WE'RE BACK! Hunter and Shawn talk about the book of Daniel, the imperfect lines we have to draw as believers, and how exile will factor in to our new podcast series, Imperfect Line.
It's been a minute, I know. After we wrapped season 4, we took a vacation, had to say goodbye to our beloved sweet goodest boy, Murphy, adopted our new boy Grim, and have been taking the time to adjust to all the change amid visitors almost nonstop. If you've been gagging to know the details, here they are!So, without further delay, WE'RE BACK!

John, Deuce, and Joe reunite after a summer hiatus to deliver a spirited, no-holds-barred chat covering everything from Italian pizza blasphemies to the state of public education in New Jersey. The episode opens with the gang catching up, diving straight into a debate about unconventional pizza toppings. Fruit on pizza? The group draws the line—unless it's a tomato. The conversation quickly shifts to the intricacies and occasional absurdities of the lottery system, as Deuce shares his extensive experience running a workplace lottery pool and dishes out stories from his years as a lottery agent. The hosts break down lottery odds, debunk myths, and recount the biggest (and smallest) wins they've witnessed, underscoring that playing is key—since you can't win if you don't enter. As the banter continues, the crew vents about soaring energy bills in New Jersey, lambasting failed green initiatives and questioning the whereabouts of a billion-dollar investment in wind farms that yielded zero windmills. They don't shy away from sharper social commentary, either, taking on topics such as DEI initiatives, the challenges of homeschooling, administrative bloat in public schools, vaccine mandates, and the ever-expanding presence of identity politics. John, Deuce, and Joe aren't afraid to get controversial, dissecting the culture wars, questioning media narratives, and reflecting on societal changes since their own school days.Through it all, the hosts maintain an irreverent and comedic tone, punctuating heavier discussions with tales from their youth, food detours, and friendly ribbing. The episode wraps up with some nostalgic reminiscing and the promise of more spirited debate in episodes to come.Opening catch-up and summer break recap Heated debate about fruit and unconventional toppings on pizza Lottery stories, running workplace pools, and debunking lottery myths Frustration over high energy bills and failed wind farm projects in New Jersey Rant on public school inefficiency, administrative bloat, and rising property taxes Issues with DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) in schools and homeschooling legislation Vaccine mandates and skepticism about pandemic-era CDC guidance Commentary on gender identity, pronouns, and LGBTQ curriculum in schools Critique of political correctness, identity politics, and media bias Reflections on societal and cultural changes since their youth Lighthearted discussions on food, nostalgia, and personal anecdotes

Weekly episodes launching Sept. 22! | Hi, I'm Tim Berglund. It's been about four years since I've been podcasting at Confluent, and "Streaming Audio" has been on hiatus for a little more than two, but I've got great news: we are back! We're back with a new name, a new format, and new hosts. Welcome to the Confluent Developer Podcast, where we talk to software developers of all stripes about some of the most interesting problems they've solved in their career. I'll be joined by my co-hosts, Adi Polak and Viktor Gamov. And hey, you know, we're all basically Kafka people, so of course, we're going to gravitate towards experts in data streaming and the technologies relevant in that space. But you know what? We're not limited to that. Really, we want to talk to developers of all kinds about the toughest problems they've solved and how that process changed them and changed the environment around them. So join us. We're launching September 22 with weekly episodes on the Confluent Developer YouTube channel or wherever it is you get your podcasts. We'll see you soon.SEASON 2 Hosted by Tim Berglund, Adi Polak and Viktor Gamov Produced and Edited by Noelle Gallagher, Peter Furia and Nurie Mohamed Music by Coastal Kites Artwork by Phil Vo

Vamos a darle ¿o qué?Pasen y si no nos van a dejar monedas, pues dejennos algo de amor minimo.Bienvenidos a Brujas Cinema.
What if everything you think dating should look like is actually keeping you single? Or constantly thinking you're doing something wrong or that it's not enough? It seems most of us are in the quintessential "messy middle," in every sense of the word. So as my comeback episode it felt even more appropriate to dig into why these spaces are so potent. It's exactly where the real work happens. And while the primary focus will be on relationships, I'll share how these seasons occur — and benefit us — in all areas of life. You'll be into this episode if:You're very critical of your dating progress/don't feel like you've made any at allReally struggle with the uncertainty of your romantic futureHave felt stuck in the same or similar spot for quite some timeWork with me PrivatelyConnect on InstagramWebsitePodcast Production by James Jorge

Connect with me here! Send me a text message! The reminder for you today is that you are a daughter of the most high king. Kingdom Daughters was birthed from a place of me growing in my identity and realizing that I needed to be rooted and grounded in His love and move from that space. In our busyness we can get lost in WHO we are or who we are SUPPOSEd to be. And be striving to be something by doing..instead of just being who God created us to be….which is His daughter! You are loved deeply by your heavenly father and when you come FULLY to that realization and receive His love..then you can walk boldly into the calling He has for you! Without stress or striving or performance!Boom bam.I spent most of my life trying to earn a place in the kingdom. Thinking that I had to work and be a perfect christian to walk in freedom. It wasn't til I started to understand the depth of God's love and His intention towards me that I realized I didn't have to strive for perfection or perform a certain way to earn His love. I just had to be me. Now side note to this…grace and love are a free gift…but that isn't a free ride to live however you like. If you are in a deep loving relationship with God- by knowing Him and spending time with Him in His word, prayer and worship- then you will one be transformed in His presence and two have a desire to live your life in honor and praise….your actions will reflect the worship..ya know?Anyway…. I'm telling you right now that there is freedom from walking in the knowledge that no matter what I DO, as long as I am choosing to seek Him first of course, He will always love me because He created me, sees and knows me and loves me for who I am and not what I do. Boomshakala lol So I just have a few points to help with this topic…just to encourage you in this belief system!!Scripture: Romans 8:16-17 – “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, …”Key Points:You are adopted and chosen. You're not a servant—you're a daughter with full access to the Father.- isn't this awesome! We are heiresses to the kingdom! We can approach His throne boldlyEphesians 3:12: "In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence -Hebrews 4:16: "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of needNow that you know these beautiful truths(and I suggest listening back to some of the earlier podcasts if you haven't already to really dive into some of the scripture on identity!)Living as royalty means reflecting your Father. When we truly know who we are in Jesus we should speak, think, and act from a place of kingdom authority.- This comes from spending time with Him and knowing Him well so that you know how to reflect who HSupport the show

Annnnnnnnnd WE'RE BACK! And what a triumphant return it is! In this ogre-sized episode, your favorite former-puppeteers-turned-podcast-hosts dive headlong into the swampy world of Shrek the Musical—because nothing says "puppetry" like a talking gingerbread man and a 25-foot-long fire-breathing dragon. This week, the lads welcome not one but two fairy-tale royalty guests Jack O'Connell the director of Shrek the Musical at the Elkhorn Community Theatre and the show's puppet designer and builder (aka the wizard behind the curtain) our very own K. WILLIAM SMITH.
