Weekdays 2 - 6 pm
The Hochman and Crowder podcast is an absolute gem in the world of sports radio. Hosted by Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder, with Alex Solana as their producer, this show provides a unique blend of sports analysis, comedy, and nonsense that keeps listeners entertained from start to finish. Despite being based in the northeast and having a job, I make it a point to listen whenever I can because these guys never fail to make me laugh.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the chemistry between Hochman and Crowder. The dynamic between them is perfect, with Hochman bringing his expertise from his time working with Dan Le Batard and Crowder providing a refreshing perspective as the antithesis of every athlete stereotype. They also have an incredible foil in Solana, who continues to grow and develop his humor on a daily basis. This trio has unlimited potential and is only limited by their own ambitions.
Another great aspect of this podcast is the recent improvement in its format. Previously, interviews were mixed with full hours which made it difficult to follow along. However, thanks to whoever made the fix recently, this issue has been resolved and now listeners can enjoy a seamless listening experience.
As for the worst aspects of this podcast, there really aren't many. As a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan since 1969, I appreciate how honest these guys are with their takes on the team, even during painful seasons. The only downside I can think of is that as someone who doesn't have much attachment to Florida sports being based in California, some of the inside jokes or references may go over my head. However, that doesn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the show.
In conclusion, The Hochman and Crowder podcast is an excellent show that goes beyond just sports. It's entertaining in so many ways and provides a much-needed laugh during tough times for sports teams. Hochman and Crowder have a genuine rapport that continues to grow, making them a must-listen for anyone looking for a dose of sports, comedy, and nonsense. Whether you're a Florida sports fan or not, this podcast is worth tuning into.
