In this edition of Hollywood's Headlines, the guys break down an Olympic gold medalist apologizing for cheating on his girlfriend during a post-win interview. They also cover Jaxson Hayes getting sued by a person in a mascot suit he shoved recently, noting the irony that the lawyer has previously prosecuted Hayes. Finally, they discuss California's massive $350 million spend on OnlyFans last year, with Los Angeles leading the nation.
Hour 2 opens with the Canes' big basketball win before shifting to the Dolphins' offseason, where Joe highlights Devon Achane as a key player who deserves a new deal despite the running back market. They dive into the quarterback carousel, with Malik Willis emerging as Miami's top target while Hollywood cautions against overcommitting to the wrong player like they did with Tua, and they discuss where Carson Beck might land in the draft. The conversation expands to other roster priorities, including Bradley Chubb, Austin Jackson, and the need to add an offensive guard, with Francis Mauigoa mentioned as a potential target. The hour wraps with Hollywood's Headlines, covering an Olympic athlete apologizing for cheating, Jaxson Hayes facing a lawsuit from a mascot, and California spending $350 million on OnlyFans subscriptions, led by Los Angeles.
On Wednesday's show, the guys kick things off discussing the Miami Hurricanes' big upset over #11 UNC, their first ranked win in two years, before diving into a conversation about the Dolphins' offseason. Joe calls the Tua contract the biggest financial mistake in franchise history, debates signing Malik Willis at the right price, and weighs potential veteran quarterback options while stressing that teams should always compete to win. The discussion touches on roster priorities like Devon Achane, Bradley Chubb, and the offensive line, as well as the ongoing fallout from past personnel decisions. Hollywood's Headlines includes an unfaithful Olympic gold medalist to Jaxson Hayes facing a lawsuit and California's massive OnlyFans spending. The show wraps with reflections on Miami's growth into a true sports town, stories of wild youth sports parents, and a chat with Canes center Ernest Udeh following the UNC win, highlighting his clutch play, team leadership, and how his faith keeps him grounded.
Hour 3 covers NBA drama, Commanders fan reactions, and NFL draft analysis. The hour opens with LA Lakers' Jaxson Hayes apologizing for pushing the Wizards' mascot, as Chris Russell reacts and shares Jaxson's experiences with off-court altercations. The discussion then shifts to the Washington Commanders, highlighting audience reactions to the team's new coordinators and their outlook heading into the 2026 season. Finally, the hour wraps with ESPN's Field Yates mock draft, debating who the Commanders should pick, and a look at the team's surprising placement in ESPN's latest power rankings, sparking conversation about expectations for the season ahead.
The show opens with the Washington Commanders' press conference introducing their new offensive and defensive coordinators, with a spotlight on OC David Blough's comments about playing more under center. Chris Russell pushes back on the idea that lining up under center is the only path to an explosive offense, comparing the debate to the old 4-3 vs. 3-4 conversation and calling it more narrative than substance. Listener calls spark a broader discussion about scheme, quarterback comfort, and modern offensive strategy, ultimately centering on Jayden Daniels' performance, which Russell argues makes the under center vs. shotgun debate largely irrelevant if the quarterback executes well. Attention then shifts to the defensive coordinator press conference, where Russell notes the curious omission of veterans Bobby Wagner and Daron Payne, explaining why their absence doesn't necessarily indicate they won't return next season and sharing his prediction on who is most likely to stay. The show rounds out with NBA drama, including LA Lakers' Jaxson Hayes apologizing for pushing the Wizards' mascot, fan reactions to the Commanders' new staff, and a look at ESPN's latest mock draft and power rankings, sparking conversation about the team's outlook heading into the 2026 season.

The Lakers head out on the road for a quick stop in Portland as the first game in a weekend back-to-back on Saturday night. And with several players out of the lineup, the makeshift rotation of LeBron James (20 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists), Marcus Smart (25 points), and a bevy of young players, including two-way player Drew Timme (21 points), couldn't fix the defense as their defending woes continued in a 132-116 thumping by the Blazers. Tune in as the guys from the Lakers Fast Break share thoughts on the Lakers and how they did WITHOUT Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Jaxson Hayes, and Deandre Ayton. They also go over who stepped up and who didn't, where their freefall has put the Lakers in the Western Conference standings, and what the team may look like heading back home for a Sunday game against Toronto. The Lakers cap off a great Los Angeles sports weekend with the first of a back-to-back, with game one being against the Miami Heat. And despite poor shooting from Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves (5-25) from deep, they still found a way to greatly impact the game as Luka's triple-double (29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) and Austin's Double-Double (26 points, 11 assists) helped keep the offense flowing as the Lakers ran by Miami 130-120. Tune in as the guys from the LFB break down the game, give a shout-out to Jake LaRavia's big boost (25 points, 8 rebounds) off the bench, remark on Jaxson Hayes in the starting lineup (15 points) and even Bronny being a plus today (+1), reminisce on a historic weekend for LA sports, and give you the lowdown on what's up next for the Lakers. 0:00 ... Open animation ... Ross Geiger welcome and introduces co-hosts Bruce Bernstein and Michael "World B" Freer. 0:33 ... Show #164 is dedicated to Phoenix guards Jalen Green and Bradley Beal, both of whom stand 6-4. 0:52 ... Norman Powell is traded to Miami, John Collins is traded to the Clippers, and Kevin Love and Kyle Anderson go to Utah ... we'll discuss the deal from the perspective of all three teams. Everyone agrees that Miami won this trade. 6:37 ... Kevin Durant is finally in Houston after an historic 7 team trade. Besides the Rockets and Suns, five other teams get spare parts and second round picks while Houston moves closer to OKC in the west and Phoenix "embraces the rebuild." 9:58 ... The Rockets made another significant trade, sending Cam Whitmore to Washington where he will have a chance to play near his Maryland home. The Wizards have made some bold moves and Bruce thinks they may be this year's version of the Pistons who could double their win total of 18 from last season. 14:28 ... What is Bradley Beal's future in Phoenix? Bruce thinks he could be a dynamic 6th man for a good team since whichever team picks him up after his buyout in Phoenix will not be paying him max money since Phoenix will be paying most of his salary. 20:53 ... The Pacers lost Myles Turner, who signed with Milwaukee as a free agent but they acquired Jay Huff from Memphis. Standing 7-1, he's not a great shot blocker or rebounder but makes 40% of his three point attempts. It will be his 5th team in 5 seasons. 24:02 ... Paolo Banchero signed a huge rookie max extension on Monday with Orlando for 5 years and almost $240 million. There will be great expectations with all Orlando's young stars signed to long-term deals. 26:22 ... Jaxson Hayes re-signs with the Lakers after being benched in the 2025 playoffs which is somewhat surprising. Will he have a good relationship with LA coach JJ Redick? It should be an interesting storyline moving forward. 29:46 ... The Knicks have officially locked up Mike Brown as their next head coach. Everyone likes the hire and his style should work well with a mature veteran team that won't mind being challenged. 32:07 ... Summer League action is underway and some of the young guys are impressing everyone right out of the gate. VJ Edgecombe of Philly scored 28 in his debut and could make an immediate impact for the 76ers. Ace Bailey of Utah had an uneven debut but showed ability at both ends of the court. 36:33 ... Nikola Topic of OKC finally made his debut on Saturday and had 14 points against Memphis. Finding minutes as a rookie with the defending champs won't be easy, but Topic has the goods to make it in the NBA. 39:08 .... The Memphis Grizzlies have a loaded Summer League roster with three rotation players participating. Ross predicts they'll be the Summer League champions. 42:31 ... It's time for the Classic Card Challenge where Bruce pulls random cards of former players and quizzes Ross and World B. Those dudes show serious knowledge and a great sense of NBA history. 51:05 ... Final Thoughts ..... Bruce on Jonas Valanciunas, who was traded from New Orleans to Denver but is trying to bolt for a Euroleague team in Greece. Bruce has always admired Valanciunas but this move shows that winning an NBA title just isn't that important to him. 52:26 ... World B on James Wiseman, who signed a one year deal with Indiana after missing last season with an achilles injury. World B is rooting for him in his comeback. 54:03 ... Ross feels the Las Vegas Summer League will be spectacular this month. 54:56 ... Ross says goodbye TRT 55:10

Anthony did a little digging and one thing resonates far above everything else as it pertain to noise surrounding the Lakers' offseason: They know they need at least one center and are in the market for a couple. The duo also explores if JJ Redick is already on the hot seat. In Rockets vs. Warriors, they highlight Amen Thompson's elite defense on Steph Curry, the success of Houston's double big lineup, and Jimmy Butler's lackluster response. The Lakers suffered a gut-punch loss in Game 4, falling to the Wolves by three points after taking a 10-point lead into the final frame. Pete and Darius discuss the loss, highlighted by JJ Redick's decision to start Dorian Finney-Smith for Jaxson Hayes in the 2nd half, play that new starting group the entire 2nd half, and how that decision helped contribute to clear mental and physical fatigue of the team down the stretch. Then later, the guys discuss Austin Reaves' up and down game, Luka and LeBron carrying the offense, Anthony Edwards' great play to close the game, and much more. Potacast'in yeni bölümünde Kaan Kural ve Orkun Çolakoğlu Play-Off'larda ikinci maçların tamamlanmasının ardından mikrofon başına geçiyor. Her zamanki gibi Doğu Konferansı eşleşmelerinin değerlendirilmesiyle başlayan sohbette ilk olarak Cleveland Cavaliers-Miami Heat eşleşmesi konuşuluyor. Cleveland'ın sezon boyunca ortaya koyduğu hücum standartının şimdiye kadar Miami Heat'i ne kadar zorladığı ve Cavaliers'ta Donovan Mitchell'ın performansının konuşulmasının ardından Jimmy Butler'ın ayrılığı sonrası nasıl bir Play-Off geçireceği merak edilen Heat'te Tyler Herro ve Davion Mitchell'ın takıma kattıkları mercek altına alınıyor. Ardından Boston Celtics-Orlando Magic eşleşmesi ile sohbet devam ediyor. Magic'in Franz Wagner ve Paolo Banchero haricinde hücumda eksiklik hissetmesi ve skor üretememesinin Boston açısından işleri nasıl kolaylaştırdığı, serinin ikinci maçında Jason Tatum'un yokluğunda Jaylen Brown'un performansı ve iki takım arasındaki kadro kalitesinin incelenmeisnin ardından Konferansın "old school" eşleşmesi olan New York Knicks-Detroit Pistons eşleşmesine geçiliyor. Pistons'ta Malik Beasley ve Dennis Schröder'in performanslarının Cade Cunningham'i rahatlatması, New York Knicks'in kısıtlı rotasyonla oynaması ve ikinci maçtaki zayıf hücum performansının konuşulmasıyla birlikte Doğu Konferansı'nın son eşleşmesi olan Indiana Pacers-Milwaukee Bucks eşleşmesi masaya yatırılıyor. Indiana'da özellikle Andrew Nembhard'ın kendinden emin oyun karakterinin Tyrese Haliburton'ın yaratıcılığıyla birleşmesinin, Damian Lillard'ın yokluğunda Bucks'a adeta tek başına liderlik etmek durumunda kalan Giannis Antetokounmpo'yu nasıl etkilediği konuşulan konular arasında. Ardından Batı Konferansı değerlendirmelerine geçiliyor. Oklahoma City Thunder ve Memphis Grizzlies eşleşmesinde, Grizzlies'in son Play-In maçından 36 saat sonra Thunder deplasmanına çıkmasındaki şanssızlık ve takımlar arasındaki kalite farkının üstünde duruluyor. Scottie Pippen Jr'ın Shai Gilgeous-Alexander'a yönelik savunmasının övgüleri toplamasının ardından Houston Rockets-Golden State Warriors eşleşmesi ile sohbet devam ediyor. Warriors'ta özellike Jimmy Butler'ın sakatlığının ikinci maçın kaybedilmesindeki nedenlerden biri olduğu, ilk maçta beklenti altında kalan Jalen Green'in ikinci maçta iyi bir performans göstermesi ve Rockets'ta henüz istenen katkılı veremeyen Fred Van Vleet ve Amen Thompson'ın performanslarının maçlar üzerindeki etkisi hakkındaki saptamaların ardından Los Angeles Lakers-Minnesota Timberwolves eşleşmesi ile devam ediliyor. Jaden McDaniels ve Anthony Edwards'ın performanslarının karşısında Lakers cephesinde Luka Doncic'in performansı, yine Lakers'ın Jaxson Hayes'e seride az süre vermek zorunda olması ve bu eşleşmenin Rockets-Warriors eşleşmesine yönelik benzerliklerinin konuşulmasıyla programın son bölümü şu ana kadarki en heyecanlı eşleşme olarak ön plana çıkan Los Angeles Clippers-Denver Nuggets mücadelesine ayrılıyor. Seride oynanan iki maçın da kaderini son topların belirlemesi, Clippers'ın Harden-Zubac üzerinden kurguladığı Pick&Roll oyununu Kawhi Leonard ile desteklemesi, Denver'da Michael Porter Jr. ve Aaron Gordon'un performansları bu bölümde değerlendiriliyor. İkinci maçta hayal kırıklığına yaratan performansına rağmen maçı triple doube ile maçı bitiren Nikola Jokic ve uzun süre hafızalardan silinmeyecek "Prime" Kawhi Leonard performansı... Hepsi ve daha fazlası bu bölümde!

The Lakers started off their latest road trip by renewing their old rivalry against the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden. But things went from bad to worse as the Lakers have officially caught the injury bug with Rui and Jaxson Hayes out, LeBron James fell victim to a groin strain in the second half and not even a Luka Doncic-led (34 points) comeback could overcome the short-handed Lakers in a 111-101 loss to the Celtics. Tune in as the guys from the LFB always have something to say about the game, such as how hard the upcoming schedule will be without LeBron and the early reports on how serious the injury might be. Tom Haberstroh, Amin Elhassan and producer Anthony Mayes have their third eyes wide open on the templates used in this year's All Star Draft. Determined to squash conspiracies brought to our attention by Chris Kratovil last week, Mavs owner Patrick Dumont made some statements that only opened himself up to more criticism. Finally, Truth Teller David Purdum of ESPN joins us to break down the unusual betting activity related to Terry Rozier and the connections to the Jontay Porter investigation.
