This morning Sally spoke on Psalm 22. This is the psalm that Jesus quoted from the cross. The psalm alternates between cries of anguish and songs of praise of what God has done and expectation of what he can and will do on the future.
This morning Bonnie spoke on Psalm 19 on how both creation and God's word reveals and declares his glory. Prayer points • thanking God for different aspects of his creation. • Thanking god for the different benefits of his word based on verses 7-9. • That we would remain routed in him today.
This morning we looked at Psalm 18 - David's personal story of deliverance - and the three ways we're called to respond to difficult times. Prayer points • Thanks and praise for the trials God has brought us through • Forgiveness for when we're hard-hearted or too proud to cry out for help • Prayer for the persecuted church as they lift up their “cry for help”
This morning Nic spoke from Psalm 16 Prayer points • We started by looking at Psalm 100:4-5 in starting with praise and thanks to God. • We then followed what Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and prayed for all those in authority over us in particular King Charles, our PM Liz Truss and our new Government and also for the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. • After Nic's talk we then listened to a song called ‘I will say' about having confidence in God as our strength and refuge whatever life throws at us.
This morning Anthony spoke from Psalm 15 Prayer points • Let's pray for those who feel far from the LORD today • Let's pray for those who are being crushed by money given with interest to repay • Let's pray for ourselves, that we would find our stability in God alone and dwell with Him forever • Let's pray for ourselves that we would be the kind of people that David invites us to become in the psalm, holy and righteous just as God is.
This morning Alan spoke on Psalm 14 We prayed into God's faithfulness and also for the ways He revealed Himself through yesterday's state funeral and ceremonies.
This morning Jo spoke on Psalm 12 Prayer points • Pray for Try Church Sunday, everyone who is invited to come and get the gospel • Pray for young people in schools and universities to find the truth that will set them free •Pray for the needy and the broken hearted to find redemption and deliverance • Pray for revival !
This morning Felix spoke on Psalm 11 Prayer points • We spent time reflecting and praying into how we can take refuge in Him when facing opposition.
Today Natalie spoke from Psalm 10 Prayer points: • HT seniors - new rhythm starting of gathering together on Wednesdays 1.30-2.30pm • Wider world - Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and Pakistan - countries suffering from war, famine and floods
Prayer points: • Thank God for all He has done in our lives. Give him and praise and glory for who he is. • Ask God for help in making a stand for him and ‘confessing him before men'. • Praise God for his justice and sovereignty, that he his enthroned eternally and always in control.
Tim speaks today on the wonderful Psalm 8. He considers the hierarchy of Gods creation and our place within it. Today we prayed for the royal family and God's will to be done.
This morning Josh spoke from Psalm 7 Prayers • Praying in response to the Queen's death.
This morning Emma spoke from Psalm 6 Prayer points • That we may bring our true selves to God and trust that when we repent we will be met with his mercy and forgiveness. • Pray for our brothers and sisters across the world who are struggling • Pray that they may reply on Jesus and rest in his promises.
This morning Reema spoke on Psalm 5 The Psalmist cries out to God, he cries out to a God who is just and he cries out for those who are experiencing injustice. We can cry out to God in the same way today. Pray: • Thank God for the protection we have in our lives • Cry out for the persecuted church. Afghanistan is currently the most dangerous place in the world to be a Christian, pray that Christians would know God as refuge and for their deliverance.
This Morning Robert spoke on Psalm 4 Prayer points: • Thank God that we can depend on him in times of trouble • Thank God that he hears our prayers • Thank God that we can rest safely in Him • Prayer for the new Prime Minister
This morning Ed spoke on Psalm 3 Prayer points: • For the Lord's reigning as the new Prime Minister is to be announced and appointed today. • For the country of Afghanistan, more than a year since the Taliban took over; • Pray for God's mercy in that heartache and for Christian believers to persevere in following Christ.
This morning Jo spoke on Psalm 2 Prayer points We pray that we rise up in this new season with devotion and conviction and fill our lives with worship, love, rest, hospitality and celebration.

This morning Bonnie spoke on Luke 12: 27-31. Seeking His kingdom means prioritising Jesus and making sure he is the lord of all areas of our lives. It's a daily decision and it will bring a shift in our perspective. Prayer points: • Ask God to highlight areas in our lives where we're not priotising him or seeking his Kingdom. • Seek his Kingdom for our community: for Clapham, provision for revitalise 250, for the UK, for our government.

This morning Tristan spoke on Luke 12:16-21 on Jesus' warning against greed and pursuit of materialistic possessions. Prayer points: • That we would recognise that every good and perfect gift comes from God • That we wouldn't store up treasures on earth • For the Conservative party leadership
This morning Felix spoke on Luke 12:13-15 Prayer points: • For our prayer lives to reflect our dependency on God. • For London as the world's most international and connected financial centre.
This morning Sally Williams spoke on Luke 12:11-12 how when faced with trials, we can be sure the Holy Spirit is with us. Prayer points: • That we may know God's presence with us, and that he may encourage us • For all persons worldwide who are unable to practice their faith, that they may be made strong and like a light on a stand and shine God's glory all around

This morning Sophie spoke from Luke 9:28-36 on the transfiguration of Jesus, explaining how it reveals to us that all the prophecies and laws were fulfilled in Jesus alone and how His glory is so much more than our hearts could imagine. Sophie led a time of prayer, praying • For the Lord to renew a right spirit within us to come to Him in truth and honesty That He might search our hearts and that we might receive His word more fully • For the Lord's glory to come and for Him to reveal His glory to us
This morning Anthony spoke on Luke 9:23-27 on denying ourselves and taking up our cross to follow Jesus Afterwards Anthony led a time of prayer, praying: • To see what crosses Christ was calling us to take up today • For one another to have the strength and courage to take up our crosses. • For everyone in HTC to have an opportunity to be unashamed in sharing Christ today.
This morning Tim spoke from Luke 9:18-22 Afterwards Tim led a time of prayer, praying: • For those we know to receive the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
This Morning Robert spoke on Luke 9:12-17 on the feeding of the 5000. We also read from Psalm 78:1-3 and 11-24. Afterwards we prayed that • We would rely on Jesus rather than our own resources when we're in a difficult situation • We would obey Jesus' word even when we don't understand and that this would lead to greater faith • That we would give whatever we have into God's hands and He would use and multiply them for His glory
This morning Alan spoke on Luke 9:1-11 on how the Lord sends people out to proclaim the kingdom of God. Afterwards Matt Oram led a time of prayer, praying: • That we may trust in the Lord, listen for His will, and be bold when sent • That we would give thanks for the world around us, for friends, for the trees, for the NHS, for the sunshine etc.
This morning Alan spoke from Luke 8:40-56 Afterwards James Farley led a time of prayer. Prayer points were: 1. Believe in Jesus: Faith in Him is the answer to every problem 2. Listen to Jesus: God's Word has guidance and wisdom 3. Look to Jesus: He is the model; we grow in His likeness 4. Give thanks to Jesus; Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
This morning Josh spoke from Luke 8:26-39. Josh reminded us that Jesus has power over the enemy, brings freedom and commissions us to carry and share that freedom. Afterwards Josh led a time of prayer, praying for: - those who were baptised - those close to a commitment - those feeling under spiritual attack who need to know the freedom Jesus brings.
