The grace of God is a huge subject that must be fully and properly understood to experience the radical transformation from within by the Spirit. Without understanding, there can be no fire.Truth is wood, Holy Spirit is fuel. Jesus is the truth. People who have been Christians for a long while but lack the real transformation from within, or struggling with status quo, a probable reason is not grasping the grace of God. It is often misunderstood to be cheap. Grace of God may be free, but isn't cheap. It's indispensable. People will perish without the grace of God. It's not an option.
Paul praised and thanked God for the stamina, endurance of the Thessalonian church in facing persecutions and trails in 2 Thessalonians 1. One word I do want to bring up to us : When we are trying hard to press on in our lives for a calling, for a vision, for a dream, or facing trails/persecutions, remember that if we are walking with the Lord, it’s the grace of God that’s working in us. It can’t be just us dreaming and have a self centered ambition pressing on, be cause that will be of the flesh, and that will be religion, which will get you no where and wear you out. But when you understand and acknowledge that it’s the grace of God working powerfully behind us, suddenly all dams breaks loose.
It’s so true that most of our prayers are all centered on prayer requests for our own selves and our families and friends and loved ones. We also give thanks mostly if the Lord has blessed us with things, like healed us, got our mortgage approved, got the good grades to go to good school, got a pay raise, bonus, etc. It seems that our prayers of thanksgiving is so lopsided. Why?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO KNOW GODJeremiah 31:31–34The Attributes of GodMany people wander in this world not knowing the true living God, not knowing why we face so much hardship and sufferings and injustice etc. Greed, self-centeredness continues to rule and not the best side of human beings shows forth. So Christianity with our gospel message in Christ Jesus is the central corner stone message for all, and yet people shun church and regard any church as an organized religion and therefore not interested. The root cause of this problem is not the people’s fault or the church. People don’t know God. There is generally a very vague sense at best of what the real nature is of the God the Bible puts forth, and because of that, the Christian message, the Christian life, and the Christian ethic make no sense. Without the foundational knowledge of who God is, nothing else about Christianity makes sense at all. The Ten Commandments make no sense. That’s the reason why they are discarded and ignored in a place like New York City. It’s not simply because people are immoral; it’s because people, in a foundational way, don’t understand who God is.
Centrality of the GospelThe religion in this world teaches us that if we try to be a good man or woman in our lives, pleasing to God, He will be pleased to grant us his salvation and give us the eternal life, which is what everyone is after. But what the bible is saying is that we obey because He has loved us and saved us. Obedience is a result of salvation, not as a means to obtain salvation. Salvation is only possible by faith in Christ’s substitution death on the cross for us, and his resurrection.

Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. Jesus brings about the internal organic change to a person which will last. The world brings an external compliance change which doesn't last. Only when we tap onto the great I AM the Vine, we will never experience the love of God and the changes we so need in our lives. Listen on.

Pharaoh rebutted Moses "Who is the Lord that we should obey him?"-many in New York ask the same question. Which God? And why obey him? The 9 plagues that hit Egypt destroyed it, but God had a purpose not just to save the Hebrews, but the whole world including you & I now in NYC.
