The experience of future grace often depends on whether we will take refuge in God, or whether we will run for cover to other shelters.
The word “grace” brings sweet thoughts; a kind and giving word. However a grace that saves must be a grace received when given. Are we learning and embracing the grace of God?
Whenever we sense the slightest rise of covetousness in our hearts, we must turn on it and fight it with all our might using the weapons of faith.
2 Samuel 9:1–13 We live in a world of earning and deserving. Promotions come to those who perform. Favor goes to those with the right background. But grace—true grace—operates by a completely different economy. It seeks out the undeserving and pulls them to the table. From 2 Samuel 9, Pastor Chuck Swindoll tells the remarkable story of Mephibosheth, a crippled outcast brought to eat at King David's table as one of his own sons. In this obscure Old Testament story lives the clearest picture of how God's grace works. See yourself in Mephibosheth. Embrace the grace God extends to you freely, and enjoy the life available to those who sit at His table!

Grace is not simply the pardon of our sins; it is the power to press on in obedience. We trust in God's ever-arriving gracious power to enable us to do what we should.

God's anger must be released by a stiff safety lock, but his mercy has a hair trigger. He is infinitely energetic with unbounded and unending enthusiasm to do us good.

I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. Galatians 2:21
In Week 8 of our Welcomed. series, we examine one of the most pivotal moments in the early church as believers wrestle with a foundational question: Is the grace of Jesus truly enough? In Acts 15:1–35, the apostles confront attempts to add requirements to the gospel and affirm the life-changing truth that salvation comes through grace alone. The welcome of Jesus is not earned through religious performance, cultural conformity, or personal achievement—it is received through faith in Christ. Yet the gospel doesn't stop there. The same grace that welcomes us into God's family also transforms the way we live with and love one another.Join us as we discover how the welcome of Jesus calls us to live securely under God's grace and faithfully from God's grace, finding freedom in Christ while learning to love others with humility, sacrifice, and unity. For more information about Integrity Church, visit our website, http://liveintegritychurch.orgConnect with us on social media throughout the week to stay up to date on events and things happening at Integrity!Instagram: @integrity_churchFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/liveintegrity/

Why does faith not nullify the grace of God? Because faith calls all attention to grace and magnifies it, rather than nullifies it.
-Ephesians 10:1-10- A deeper understanding of the Grace we have received in Christ enables us to be more gracious and patient. It cultivates faithfulness, humility and a deep reliance upon Christ who is the only fount from which this blessing flows. May the Lord bless His people this evening through His word and give us a more robust understanding, and appreciation of this glorious gift. This week at Apologia Church the sermon was preached by Wes Fuller from County Line Church and our partner in End Abortion Now! Soli Deo Gloria!

You can never underestimate the creative grace of God. The creative grace of God uses all things in our lives, good and bad, for His purposes. The Apostle Paul's story, told in the book of Galatians, is a great example. When we yield to God, submit to Him as our Creator and ask Him to work His creative grace in our lives, He gives us a new life and path that can change the world.
The sovereign grace of God can turn the unplanned place and the unplanned pace into the happiest ending imaginable.

And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. • • • Titus 2:11-14 NIV 11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. • • • 1. Grace of God defined. The New Testament word for“grace” means “favor, blessing, or kindness.” Grace is God choosing to bless us rather than curse us as our sin deserves. Our election is unconditional in the strictest sense. Neither our faith nor our obedience is the basis of it. It is free and utterly undeserved.
God is so eager to work for us that he goes around looking for more work to do for people who will trust him.
It's part of human nature to perform—for God, for ourselves, and for others. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef identifies two common traps that quietly distort Christianity: The Do-Gooder: believing enough good deeds, kind words, or moral improvement can earn heaven—yet Scripture says our best righteousness apart from Christ is “filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). The Ritualist: trusting Jesus initially, then drifting into rituals and traditions as though baptism, communion, or a familiar church routine can secure salvation—subtly adding works to grace. Dr. Youssef brings the focus back to the true Gospel: salvation is God's work from beginning to end because He “so loved the world” (John 3:16). Jesus is the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2). Faith itself is God's gift (Ephesians 2:8–9), and God will sustain what He started in you all the way into eternity (Philippians 1:6). If you've been exhausted by striving—or tempted to settle into spiritual autopilot—this devotional will help you rest in Christ's finished work and live from grace, not performance. Prayer: Father, at times I have focused more on doing good things and on the rituals of my faith than focusing on Christ, the only means of my salvation. Forgive me and help me to remember that faith is a gift prompted by Your grace. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Send us Fan MailIn this episode of The Two Trees Podcast, we explore the story of Cain in Genesis 4, asking what it means to bear God's image outside the Garden—and what happens when that calling is rejected. Tracing Cain's motives, his refusal to master sin, and his failure as both priest and brother, we examine how the ground itself becomes a witness to his rebellion and how exile shapes the biblical theme of wandering “east of Eden.” Yet even in judgment, God's unexpected grace appears in the mysterious “mark of Cain,” not as punishment but protection. This episode challenges us to look beyond the mark itself and wrestle with the deeper question at the heart of the story: why does Cain choose violence, and why does God extend mercy to the undeserving?
Gratitude looks back to past grace received and feels thankful. Faith looks forward to future grace promised and feels hopeful.
The point of Paul's conversion happening the way it did is to make Christ's incredible patience vivid for you.
