"Lord, Fill Me with the Light and the Power of Your death and Resurrection" | Luke 11:29-36God has been writing his great story of redemption from the moment Adam and Eve fell. Like any great author, God has been developing his narrative masterfully, creating longing and anticipation for resolution. Luke recounts Jesus' entrance into history and presents Jesus as the fulfillment of God's plan. And Jesus invites us to humbly acknowledge our lostness, to follow him into his eternal kingdom, to admit the brokenness of this life. Join us as we journey through Luke, learning more about the wonder of Jesus and God's love for the lost everywhere.Speaker: Patrick Kim

Easter is brimming with hope, hope of light after darkness, hope of life after death. The resurrection of Jesus is not just a part of our faith, but it is the cornerstone and often times we can hurry through what is actually unfolding. Have we reckoned with the events of the resurrection, as the women at the tomb did, and walk through the door of abundant life that Jesus has opened?
The Resurrection : Luke 24:1-12 : Pastor Raef Chenery : 04-20-25 by Park Community Church
Pastor Erina preaches on Resurrection Sunday about the ways that resurrection is being seeded in our midst- not in the big and triumphant, but in the small and hidden. How might we take notice of the ways that the risen Christ is at work among us in unexpected ways? How might we take part in continuing his work through small acts of faithfulness, hope, and love?
A blessed Resurrection Sunday to all of our listeners across the globe. He Is Risen! Please click here for the YouTube video.

Luke: The Action | Resurrection | Luke 24:1-35 Sermon from April 20, 2025 – Deron Spoo, Pastor Part 16 of 18 of the series The Action
Luke 24 retells the account of Jesus's resurrection. From this passage we learn that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was all part of God's plan for Jesus. Even though the disciples did not initially believe, Jesus walks with them in their sorrow, struggle, and doubt. Sometimes we hope for the wrong things, like the disciples hoped for Jesus to redeem them from Rome's oppression. And yet, Jesus does redeem his disciples from their own sin. In the end, God is the one who opens the minds and hearts of people. Christ calls all people to repent and believe the Gospel. When a person does that, they experience the joy of God's salvation. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_248ac1f1ac444e7894ce929122f2ea91.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_f567233fdfd344db9285265379a5348f.pdf ________________________________________ In this video: Review of previous sermons in series Main Points Application ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/

For The Life of The World: The FPC Greenville, Alabama Podcast
This is the sermon for the Lord's Day, March 23, 2025.
This series is a study of the gospel of Luke. Luke was a traveling physician and companion of the Apostle Paul. Each week, as we study Luke, we seek to find the prescription that this Christian doctor would prescribe for us to become more like Jesus.
The resurrection of Christ is a fairy tale to some and good news to others. Jesus calls us to believe that he has overcome the grave. Will you believe? Listen in to hear more.
There's a lot of bad news in the world. I think you would agree with that. And. One of the reasons I like going to church, other than the fact that I'm the pastor, I'm supposed to be there. is that you get to actually hear some good news? Well, the disciples 2000 years ago, it was Easter was not the first one was not and is not a good time.
There are four different versions. Stories of the resurrection. Each one has its own unique little perspective. Luke was a doctor. He was a physician, and he brings out more of the compassion of Jesus than than any of the gospel writers, probably because that's the physician's heart that Luke himself had. You know, the story, about Jesus and about, Friday and the crucifixion.

Despair and the Resurrection (Luke 24:13-35) - March 31, 2024 by OrlandoGrace
It all seemed crazy; totally absurd, like a fairy tale when they first heard it. Luke 24 takes us behind the scenes on the day Jesus rose to life. In documentary style, we're given the unfiltered response of his first followers trying to make sense of his resurrection. As they move from skepticism to astonishment, devastation to faith and panic to peace – we're invited to go there with them.

Join the American Baptist Churches of Nebraska on the 2024 Lenten reflections, "Facing Jerusalem." Easter Benediction In the dark of the early morning, It descended. The very breath of God. Dawn approached. The Spirit filled the lungs of our fallen king, And his heart began to beat anew. At the rising of the sun, He awoke. He opened his eyes. He smiled. He rose. Victorious. They say the tomb was empty, But we know otherwise. Sorrow and mourning. Left behind. Fear and shame. Left behind. Sin and death. Left behind. Our old ways and our old selves. Left behind.
