As Latinas we have inherited a rich culture and we want to celebrate this beautiful culture in the month of September and year around. But we also must recognize the differences with other cultures so that we can communicate more effectively and have more successful relationships in our work, home, and community. Because the truth is that humans see the world through a distorting screen created by our deeply held — often subconscious — values and beliefs. This reality can lead to an unintentional blindness and potential insensitivity to the values important to members of other cultures. www.latinastribe.com FB: @latinastribe IG: @latinastribe Twitter: @latinastribe
