Juan grew up in Costa Rica and moved to the United States when his parents made the journey back in 2009. Juan was thrusted into a completely different world and had to learn faster than most people around him. Seeing his parents struggle at a young age motivated Juan to be better, have more confidence and take on bigger challenges. Today, Juan is a Production Planner for Toms of Maine, a majority owned subsidiary of the Colgate brand since 2006. Toms of Maine is in the business of manufacturing and shipping natural personal care products, of which the most popular is their famous toothpaste. Juan is constantly learning and continues to look for more challenges, so that he can develop his strengths and further broaden his knowledge and skill set for not only success in the workplace, but success in life. In this episode I got the chance to speak with Stefano Lucchetti, a world ranked fencer who is finishing up his masters degree in International Relations at the University of London in England. Stefano explains what it takes to not only be a great athlete, but a great leader. He fences as the Anchor which is the closer for his team. He thrives in big pressure moments and loves when the stakes are the highest. He talks about mastering the mental game and how focusing on the details is key when trying to tackle the big picture. Ever since he was a kid, Justin as been infatuated by the world of movies, music and video games. He could never get enough and his favorite pass time was to religiously watch and study these pieces of art until he found a new genre or piece that caught his eye. Today, Justin is continuing his passion for film by studying at New York Film Academy in California. His passion for directing has taught him a lot about the field and has awarded him some great experience. He is currently filming a thesis film which will be released in the near future.
