The lonely, the disenfranchised, the widowed, the divorced, the awkward teen, the outlier, and the outcast all need Christ's presence and we know exactly how He desires to be present, compassionately, with them!

Sometimes you do need a good cry, but what are we crying for? Did we lose a friend? Did we miss out on a can't miss opportunity? Did someone steel something from us? Lamentations helps us see what is really worth crying for.

Is Job about how to suffer righteously for God or how God is righteous above all and offers us redemption!

Is Job about how we are to suffer and trust God? Or is it really about God's Righteousness and redemption?

The peace we have comes not from knowing or controlling our lives it comes from God who knows us and controls all for us!

“Woe is me” we cry as Christians, but whom did the reason for all our woe truly fall upon. Ultimately it WAS NOT us! So who was it?

What is the sum total of your life? Will anyone related to you even care 4 or five generations from now? Jesus cares and showed it by showing us where and how we will be forever with +Him.

The only thing in our text today is the secret God keeps and the Faith that God gives so we can receive it. On this 4th Sunday of Easter it's time to let that secret loose!

But if you were misled, the surprise can feel like utter betrayal! Can you just imagine what a perfect divine man would feel like? Especially if they were poor, persecuted, and died the hardest death you could die? Ironically enough Jesus is that God Man who did just that. And he knew exactly what was coming before he did!

“I told you a million times to stop exaggerating!” We laugh at the hypocrisy of that statement but sometimes forget God's love and patience towards us that is no exaggeration at all! Wait patiently on the Lord who can't wait to be with you!
