This week, we looked at the foundational truth of living rooted and grounded in the love of our Heavenly Father. Just as healthy roots provide strength, stability, and nourishment for a tree, God's love is the foundation that sustains and strengthens our lives. His love is wider, longer, deeper, and higher than we have yet experienced, and He is continually inviting us to discover more. The more deeply we are rooted in His love, the stronger we become, the more resilient we are in difficult seasons, and the more fruit we are able to produce for His glory.Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what [is] the width and length and depth and height– to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.God never intended for us to simply know about His love. He wants us to live in it, draw from it, and be transformed by it. When we allow our roots to go deep into His love, fear loses its grip, insecurity gives way to confidence, and weariness is replaced with strength. No matter what season you are facing, His love remains constant, sufficient, and available. This week, take time to receive the Father's love afresh. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.” - Philippians 3:14-15 NKJVThree ways we keep going in times of pressure:1. Press in through prayer2. Prioritize being in God's presence3. Practice a life of praiseScripture shows us that moments of opposition are often the moments when prayer becomes most necessary and most powerful. In Nehemiah's day, the people rebuilt the wall while surrounded by resistance, working withone hand and holding a weapon in the other, staying alert, prayerful, and dependent on God. The pressure did not stop the work. It drove them deeper into reliance on the Lord.Jesus modeled this same response in Luke 22. In the greatest moment of pressure He had ever faced, He withdrew to pray. The intensity did not cause Him to retreat. It caused Him to press in. And in that place ofprayer, He committed Himself to the will of the Father and found new strength. New Ground. New Territory. New Growth. God is calling His people to go higher into new spiritual ground they have never walked in before. Like pioneers, we are invited to leave what is familiar and press forward into the work God is still completing in us (Philippians 1:6). This journey requires faith, courage, and perseverance, but it leads to greater freedom, fruitfulness, and joy in Christ.As we embrace the following seven higher ways to walk, we can move like pioneers into unfamiliar spiritual territory, and overcome the lower things that once defined us. 1.
