Following Jesus does not mean we will never fall; it means we do not remain down. Proverbs 24:16 NLT says, “The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.” We may be knocked down, but through Christ, we are never knocked out!In this message, you'll be encouraged with five ways you can get back up and keep walking with Him: wait on the Lord instead of fretting, shift to a heavenly perspective, put on the new person you are in Christ, acknowledge every good thing He has placed within you, and boldly declare who you are and what you have in Christ. Get back up, agree with God, and keep walking with Him!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

Following Jesus isn't just a one-time yes; it's a daily yes. Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23–24 NKJV). Every day brings new opportunities to surrender our will, trust His Word, follow His leading, and choose His way over our own.Wherever God has planted you in this season, let your answer to Him be yes. Yes to His Word. Yes to His Spirit. Yes to His will. Yes to growing, changing, and becoming more like Jesus. When we say yes to Him, we are also saying no to anything that would pull us away from Him. A fruitful life is built on a daily surrender: “Yes, Lord. Wherever You lead, whatever You ask, my answer will be yes.”Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

Hard seasons don't have to produce hard hearts. Every season of difficulty presents us with a choice: to become bitter or to become better, to resist God or draw closer to Him. Our Heavenly Father calls us to keep our hearts tender, our ears open to His voice, and our lives responsive to His Word, even when He corrects us.Hosea 10:12 reminds us to “break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD.” As we seek Him, He softens the hardened places in our hearts so His Word can take root and produce lasting fruit. Don't allow difficult seasons to harden your heart. Instead, keep seeking Him, stay teachable, and trust that He is preparing you for everything He has ahead. As you stay tenderhearted, you will find His mercy and grace to bloom right where you're planted!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

We are all stewards of what God has entrusted to us: our time, gifts, calling, relationships, opportunities, finances, health, words, thoughts, and spiritual lives. A wise and faithful steward values where they are and what they have in their hands. Rather than trying to escape our present season, we should ask, “What am I doing with what God has given me?” Faithfulness begins by recognizing that nothing God entrusts to us is insignificant.“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand.” - Zechariah 4:10 NLTGod rejoiced when He saw the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand because it represented obedience, progress, and faithful stewardship. The work was not finished, but Zerubbabel had begun using what was in his hand. Donot look down on your current season, assignment, or opportunity because it seems small. Value where God has planted you, faithfully steward what He has given you, and trust Him to bring the work to completion!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

No matter what season you're in, God is still at work!“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” - Philippians 1:6 AMPCTime is one of God's greatest gifts. Every season has a purpose, and every season is an opportunity to grow. Rather than wishing for a different season, God calls us to make the most of the one we're in, trusting that He is faithfully accomplishing His work in us as we bloom where we're planted.Three keys to being fruitful in your current season:1. Stir Up the Gift That's in YouDon't allow the gifts God has placed within you to remain dormant. Stir up your gifts and choose to be on fire!2. Remember Your CallingYour circumstances may change, but God's calling on your life remains. Stay faithful where you are, trusting that He is preparing you for what's ahead.3. Choose to Magnify GodIn Psalm 34, David declared, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me,” while he was running for his life. He chose to make God bigger than his circumstances. As we magnify the Lord, our perspective changes, our faith grows, and we become fruitful, even in hard seasons.Wherever God has planted you, make the most of this season. Trust that He is at work in you, growing your faith, shaping your character, and preparing you for what's ahead!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” – John 14:15-18May we continue to fellowship with and partner with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide not only our daily decisions but also our new lives in Christ!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastors | https://www.restorechurchyorkville.comChris Romine, Special Guest | https://www.greaterharvestnow.com/

Freedom Foundations | A Legacy of Faith and Freedom“We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders… So each generation should set its hope anew on God.”— Psalm 78:4, 7 (NLT)This Independence Day weekend, we celebrated the freedoms we enjoy as Americans while remembering that true and lasting freedom is found only in Jesus Christ. He sets us free from sin, shame, fear, and the bondage of our past, giving us new life and a living hope.Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as our Deliverer, breaking chains, opening doors, and leading His people into freedom. As followers of Christ, we are called to stand firm in the liberty He has given us, never take His blessings for granted, and faithfully pass our faith and hope on to the next generation.May we continue to build our lives on the foundation of God's truth, treasure the freedom we have in Christ, and leave a legacy that points others to Him!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

This week we continued our Blessed Roots series by looking at the life changing power of God's Word. Just as a tree depends on a constant source of water to grow strong and healthy, we are called to sink our roots deep into the living water of God's Word. As we trust Him, receive His truth, and walk in obedience, His Word refreshes our souls, strengthens our faith, and produces lasting fruit in every season of life.Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV - Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. The invitation is simple: stay planted by the rivers of God's Word. Continue receiving it with humility, delighting in it daily, and putting it into practice. Those whose roots remain in His living water will continue to grow in trust, love, contentment, and fruitfulness through every season of life.Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

Kyle Kauffman | Jun 28 2026 What do you think of when you think of the church? It's likely that many of us think of Sunday Mornings because that's what we associate church with. And while the gathering of the church is incredibly important, it can also be dangerous if we only start to view church as an event that we attend. It's common in our own day to view church as good, but not necessary; as nice, but not essential; as a place I go rather than a people I belong to. Part of what we might need in the 21st century is to recover a biblical vision of the church that tends to focus more on the church being a people I belong to then an event that I attend. In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul is making this case in responding to the Corinthian tendency to elevate certain spiritual gifts in a way that dismisses the need for everyone who belongs to the church. Paul makes the case that the church is essential for us because everyone in the church is essential for the spiritual good and health of others. He recognizes that the health and well-being of every member of the church depends on the love, care, and service of others in the church. This passage serves to remind us of how good and necessary the church.

This week, we looked at the foundational truth of living rooted and grounded in the love of our Heavenly Father. Just as healthy roots provide strength, stability, and nourishment for a tree, God's love is the foundation that sustains and strengthens our lives. His love is wider, longer, deeper, and higher than we have yet experienced, and He is continually inviting us to discover more. The more deeply we are rooted in His love, the stronger we become, the more resilient we are in difficult seasons, and the more fruit we are able to produce for His glory.Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what [is] the width and length and depth and height– to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.God never intended for us to simply know about His love. He wants us to live in it, draw from it, and be transformed by it. When we allow our roots to go deep into His love, fear loses its grip, insecurity gives way to confidence, and weariness is replaced with strength. No matter what season you are facing, His love remains constant, sufficient, and available. This week, take time to receive the Father's love afresh. Spend time in His presence, meditate on His promises, and allow Him to reveal new dimensions of His heart toward you.Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

It's almost like Sammy borrowed Marty's Delorean to write the eerily prophetic "Crack in the World" off 1976's Musical Chairs. This song's incredibly spot-on lyrics warn about the coming  social/political/financial polarity and that specifically "in 2025" there will be a "great divide". CRAZY RIGHT!? How did Sammy nail this insights like these 50 years ago?! Let's make a difference together. In an immoral world, moral courage is essential for spiritual growth. In 2 Chronicles 34, we see how King Josiah made a lasting impact through moral courage. He did not follow the patterns of his family history. He chose to follow the Word of God.Because of that choice, generational patterns were broken, and a new legacy began. Our Heavenly Father is calling us to rise, grow strong, and walk in courage, not only for our own lives, but so we can help restore others and influence the next generation.Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

From prophecy to destiny. From dream to reality. From promise to fulfillment. What happens in the middle?Along the way, we will face the pressure of discouragement, but we must choose courage.Discouragement can come through failure, setbacks, and circumstances. But it can also come in the process of doing what is right and good.So keep reaching. Keep growing. Develop your character. Overcome temptation. Keep pressing forward!Like 1 Samuel 30, when David faced overwhelming pressure, he encouraged himself in the Lord his God. You can do the same.Find courage in the promises of God's Word and be strengthened in His presence. Overcome the discouragement and you will reach the finish!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

Failure is not final. Take courage and get up!“The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.” — Proverbs 24:16 NLTGetting up does not happen when everything around you changes. It happens when you do.So be strong and determined. Take courage in God's promises of restoration. This is the shift that moves you forward into restored life, restored years, renewed strength, and God's purpose for you, all through faith in Him and what He says about you.Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

Kick-off those worn-out shoes, let your hair down and pour yourself some lite roast, because the Bo-Hosts welcome you to: Sammy Sunday Mornings! The "BONUS OTIS" mini-episodes are bite-sized and focus on the mellower side of the RedRocker's catalog! In this episode, the Bo-Hosts turn the DeLorean towards 2011's epic Zeppelin-esque "Something Going Wrong".  While Chickenfoot's follow-up album rocked, this foreboding tune is chill and can be classified as a Sammy Sunday Mornings track!  Is "III" even better than Chickenfoot's killer-no-filler 2009 debut? Possibly. It's hard to say, but this album's closer evokes some very reflective lyrics and some very deep thoughts, for a Sunday. Could it also be the sibling-song to Balance's "Feelin"? Possibly!! To find out, pour yourself a coffee, put your feet up and join the Bo-Hosts for another lazy, hazy, Sammy Sunday! All songs available for purchase on iTunes! We bought it- so should you!Be sure to check out our Sammy Sunday Mornings playlist on Spotify!"What is understood...NEED be discussed"Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100085582159917Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebogusotisshow/?hl=enX:https://x.com/BogusOtisShowYouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@TheBogusOtisShowTik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@thebogusotisshowConnect with the Bo-Hosts:bogusotisshow@gmail.com

God's promises renew our strength, especially in hard times. For every problem we face, He has a promise that gives us courage. There is no promise He has spoken that lacks the power to be fulfilled. What He has said in His Word, and what He has spoken over your life, will come to pass as you hold onto it in faith. So take courage. Stand firm. Move forward in faith. All of His promises are yes and amen!Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com

The Lion of Judah, our Redeemer, the Greater One, has triumphed. By His blood, our sins are washed away. He rose from the grave, and because He lives, we live. Jesus prevailed for us so that we too can prevail. This is more than a breakthrough. It is a spiritual launching beyond where you have been and beyond where you have gone.Do not neglect so great a salvation. This is your moment. Turn to Him, receive His grace, and step into the fullness of what He has accomplished for you.Restore Church | Yorkville, ILSunday Mornings | 10 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttps://www.restorechurchyorkville.com
