Having a linear progression with his training and results, he was able to have a successful track and cross country college career. Austin is a big nike guy and talks about his go to running shoes. In this episode, Kyle McKinley joins the episode and we talk about his journey from high school running all the way to post collegiate. Kyle ran at Heritage Hall. He goes on to OSU, but eventually made his way to OCU to run in college. In 2023, he has big goals. He goes into depth of how injuries have caused him to take multiple breaks an how he has learned to be patient. We dive into the conversation of super shoes and what his thoughts are.

He finished State Runner up in Class 4A and is favorite to win the individual title next year. Time of 16:07. Improving his time from 17:05 from last year's state meet. Next, I have Cole Davenport. Member of Oklahoma Project since November 2022. He finished 21st in Class 6A. Time of 16:24. Improving his time from 17:46 from last year's state meet. Member of Edmond North State Championship team. Next, I have Andrew Pletan. Head coach of Edmond North, who are the 2022 state championship team. We talk about how the season went and how the boys cam together when it most mattered. Next, I have Kinley Kite. Member of Oklahoma Project since June 2022. She finished 8th in Class 6A. Time of 18:56. Improving her time from 20:03 from last year's state xc meet. Lastly, I have Josh Cherry. Member of Oklahoma Project since May 2020. He finished State Runner up in class 6A. Time of 15:37. With a short senior xc season, he ran his season best when it most mattered. In last year's state meet, he ran 15:30 and got state runner up.
Episode 15 is a special one for me! I got the privileged to have Jacob Anderson on this weeks episode. Jacob talks about how he got into running and how fast he developed into the runner he is today. We dive into his performance in Houston Marathon 2022(2:28) and his recent workouts and races. He finished 5th at last weeks Red Coyote The Runway Mile with a time of 4:46. We talk about heart rate and easy running. We dive into his transition from soccer to running at a young age. We hear a story about when Daniel was a freshman in HS and Ben is a junior and a workout does not go as planned. He has advice for HS runners. Daniel got the opportunity to pace for the 2 hours and 10 minutes for 13.1 miles at Chicago Marathon and we hear about how that went for him.
