Its Dan's favorite week of the summer, the WISSOKYA 100! The guys preview the event, including point standings and how things might shake up. As always, big national events are recapped as well with plenty of other banter this week.
We're back at it for a 2nd week in a row, although it was published late in the week! There is a lot that happened the last week, so buckle up! An injury to Shane Sabraski shuffles the cards for the rest of his season and the national point standings in that class. A recap of current national point standings in WISSOTA are discussed before moving into Dan's favorite subject, unwritten rules. The Hoosier tire contract extension is announced mid-eposide, and some national events are discussed to round out this episode.

After another couple week hiatus, the guys have plenty to catch up on. Recent World of Outlaw late model shakeups and WISSOTA DQ shenanigans get the guys fired up. As the cost of racing continues to climb, the guys play devil's advocate in that drivers need support with bigger purses, but grandstand and back gate tickets need to support it. The World of Outlaw late models have been at some area tracks but there has been a lack of local cars, considering the purses. More dumb WISSOTA rules come up, with the latest round hitting the Hornets before all hell breaks loose when Dan brings up the jump start charged on a race leader. The boys dip their toes into IMCA territory discussing the massive purse for the $250,000 Challenge at the Clay County Speedway. This weekend opens up the 2024 Dirt Race Central Street Stock Tour with a double header at the high-flying half mile. The guys give their picks and predictions for this weekend and the entire tour, along with talk of the format and promotion of the tour. The first DQ at Viking for the genius cold air box rule in the Street Stocks occurred last weekend, leading to updates in the teching world in WISSOTA. We round out this episode with some Minnesota sports talk, including predictions on the NBA playoffs and remainder of the Twins season.

Dan's recent visit to Target Field sparks conversation on the Twins before switching gears to racing. Finally, a brutal crash involving Dallon Murty raises safety concerns with chassis builders but not before Dan gives his dissertation on metals and alloys.

The guys discuss the massive purse for the modifieds at Mississippi Thunder in June along with some changes to the Lucas Oil format. The Dirt comes back after a bit of a hiatus, as the boys have been busy. Dan provides his dire deer hunting report after getting skunked this season. A quick recap of the world championships leads into the turkey and gravy of this week's episode, the WISSOTA annual meeting, but only after Dan cracks a diet Miller. Rod Lindquist's resignation is discussed, and the guys thank him for stepping up and taking on a tough role for the last couple of years. A large financial loss for the W this year prompts Dan to crack his 2nd diet Miller, as he raises the question on where the money went. The approved rule changes are gone over, and we round out the 2nd to last episode of season 2 with the racing events taking place over the next week.
This one starts out spicy, as the guys talk about the requested payment by FYE Motorsports due to Red Cedar rescheduling the Punky Manor, with WISSOTA approval, to the same weekend as FYE's CAN-AM Clash, both of which were rained out!
