-Stephanie Simon is a 2024 Olympic Trials Boxing Champion, 4x Elite National Boxing Champion, 3x National Collegiate Boxing Champion, and United States Marine Corps Boxing Hall of Famer.-After graduating Evergreen High School in 2012 as an All-American wrestler and discus thrower, she was accepted to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis MD where she learned how to box and eventually became a 3x collegiate national champion.-In 2017, she was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Amphibious Assault Officer where she was in charge of 50 people and 20 Amphibious Assault Vehicles. She was a part of the first wave of women who served in combat arms in USMC history and, towards the end of her time on active duty, was selected to be the captain of the USMC boxing team where she became a 2x national champion and a USMC boxing hall of famer.-After her time with the USMC boxing team, she moved to Miami Florida and switched over to the Reserves. While in Miami, she won the 2022 USA Nationals and the 2023 National Golden Gloves championships. Today on the podcast is Justin Stafford aka Mr. Incredible! Justin specializes in the Hammer Throw, where he holds a PR of 77.07m. Justin was a 2x Second-Team All-American (2019 Indoor at 9th place and 2019 Outdoor at 15th) while at UCLA. Justin is the Bronze Medalist at the 2024 United States Olympic Trials, throwing 3 PRs combined in prelims and finals. What's most impressive is that he's improved his finish at USA Nationals and Trials at every appearance so far (16th in 2019, 13th in 2021, 8th in 2022, 6th in 2023, and now 3rd in 2024). Justin is currently a volunteer assistant coach at Kansas State University. From breaking his back at age 18 and having to take off 18 months due to that to now being in the hunt to make teams, Justin's story is nothing short of inspiring. This guy is great. Josh Sweeney grew up in Phoenix, AZ, joining the Marines directly after high school. He deployed to Afghanistan with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines as a Scout Sniper in 2009 where he was injured by an IED while on patrol. He sustained severe injuries to his legs and arms resulting in the amputation of both legs above the knees and multiple hand and arm surgeries. While undergoing rehabilitation in San Antonio, TX at the Center for the Intrepid he began playing adaptive sports and realized he was still an athlete despite his injuries. He is a 2014 Paralympic Gold Medalist in the sport of Sled Hockey and was a member of the USA Nordic Skiing Paralympic team in 2022. Josh also competes in Para Triathlon where he was ranked internationally in 2019 winning a World Cup and USA Nationals. He most recently began competing in handcycling, pushing the gravel cycling initiative of getting more adaptive bikes in races and being the first handcyclist to complete the 105-mile course at Rebeccas Private Idaho.On top of all his athletic achievements, he enjoys helping the adaptive sports community by making custom equipment that is needed to solve problems they face
