Sen Ed Cooper can't seem to keep his story straight.  Before the session, he told a newspaper the Freedom Caucus is given $30,000 donations if they vote right.  After I interviewed State Freedom Caucus President Andy Roth, he retracted it.  He then told our journalist that he made a mistake.  Now he's back claiming that what he said there's money spent on Freedom Caucus candidates.  During that same appearance, he couldn't keep his own voting record straight while accusing other people of lying.

This week on the Deadpod, we've got the second set from the Grateful Dead's Mardi Gras show on March 3rd, 1987. After the parade winds through, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band joins the boys for a loose and funky "Iko Iko." It takes a minute for everyone to sync up, but it's all part of the fun — you can feel how much they're enjoying themselves. The set really kicks into gear with "Saint of Circumstance," followed by a gorgeous "Terrapin Station." Out of "Drums" and "Space," the band fires up "Gimme Some Lovin'," then slides into a sweet "Wharf Rat," "Throwin' Stones," and a big "Touch of Grey" to close things out. Jerry trips up on a line during the "Brokedown Palace" encore, but the crowd — and the band — help him along. It's one of those perfectly human Dead moments that make this show fun to hear. Rafael has been studying the Bible and the works of Marco Polo after reading an article about a dinosaur bone being found with still preserved tissue on it. If what science tells us is true and the dinosaurs lived millions of years ago why did they find bones with tissue still on them? Well Rafael is here to tell us what he has found in his research and I can say he has found that dinosaurs may have been around much much later then the science would suggest.
