Building a software application or product as a side hustle can be boring! That's why I chose to do this instead!
Here's a step by step guide that you can use to get hired FAST for your first Web Developer job.
Let's compare some of the pros and cons between being a freelance software developer and having a fulltime job.
Many people want to learn to code and they often believe that a college or a coding bootcamp is the best way to do that. I'm here to tell you that's not true!
Many of us don't realize our own potential because many of us don't believe that we can accomplish great things. No matter your how bad your upbringing was or how bad your current circumstances are, with the right mindset and a lot of hard work, you can get to where you want to be in life.
Here's 3 reasons why I think that learning to code and becoming a programmer is the best thing you can do to make more money and improve your life.
I've been working on side hustles and trying to make more money for the last few years and the harder I work the more it feels like I'm never going to "retire early" and I'm going to work for the rest of my life..
Misste Rivera a college student reached out to me and wanted to interview me for a paper she's doing for her English class about "Are too many people going to college?" We talk about learning to code, my thoughts around college and bootcamps, working in IT, and more.
I've been able to accomplish many of the goals I've set over the years with this one thing that I do and I plan to keep applying this to everything else that I set out to do in the future!
Everyone tells you that you need to have a niche and that you should niche down. The problem is that only works for digital marketers and it causes creators to make the same type of content over and over. Plus it causes them to become stale over the long term. Also the YouTube algorithm doesn't seem to care about your niche and niches only help your subscribers know that type of videos to expect from you. Really subscribers usually only account for a very small percentage of your views and YouTube will show your video to the right person regardless of type of content your channel focuses on. So why have a niche at all if that's the case?
For a long time I got by doing the bare minimum. Now I work hard and hustle everyday. There's no time to be lazy, there's only time to put in work to get to where we want to be!
Regrets are good to have.. Don't let them go to waste!
Last time I made video talking about where this channel was headed it was 4 months ago when I had 25k subs. Now as I approach 100k subscribers I've decided that I'm going make a change in my content.
Here's a story about the time I ran into an old friend who was much more successful than I was and it made me reflect on my life choices.
I just wanted to talk about some of the things that I did in my late 20s and early 30s that helped me get my life together and put me in the spot that I'm in now after wasting my 20s.
All we see on social media is people showing how successful they are. That makes us feel like our own success is inadequate because it's just "average". Let's start appreciating all levels of success because even "average" success is massive to most of us!
Let's talk about goals and the hard work that you need to put in to accomplish your goals..
I wasted my 20s like most guys do by drinking, partying and playing video games. Now I've been trying to make up for it in my 30s and it's hard...
I've been really tired of the 9 to 5 hamster wheel that I've been on and I'm not sure that the American dream is worth pursuing anymore but I don't want to be broke. So is the American dream worth it or even possible to achieve anymore? Why the hell are we working so hard for so little these days..
I grew up in a bad neighborhood and I lived a life of crime as a juvenile. I was lucky enough to make it out and I want to share a little of my story in order to help others out who might be in a similar situation.
I wasted my 20s but got my sh!t together in my 30s.
Really thought that I would have it all figured out by this age but the older I get the more I realize that I don't know what I want.
There is no shortcut for success, no magic pill that will give you motivation or help you out of a rut. The internet is riddled with productivity gurus because everyone wants to beat procrastination while sitting on their couch not doing anything. My solution is to stop talking about it and start being about it! It's as simple as that..
