We're not perfect, but it's a constant effort. Absolutely. It's crucial to prioritize your kids and give them the best of you, not just what's left. Simple activities, like watching a favorite show together, can mean a lot. The key is to be present and make the most of these moments. Right. And it's never too late to start. Even if you've missed opportunities before, you can always begin now. Whether it's with your own kids, grandkids, or kids at church, just be intentional. The White House has played down speculation Donald Trump and Elon Musk could recover their relationship today. There had been suggestions they could speak on the phone, but the chances of the men making up appear to be fading. Also: The leader of Scottish Labour, Anas Sarwar, has said he's confident of becoming Scotland's next first minister after securing victory in a Holyrood by-election. And David Beckham is to be awarded a knighthood.

Both the Chicago Sun-Times AND the Philadelphia Inquirer unknowingly published an AI-generated summer reading list featuring completely made-up books.  King Features, a Hearst syndicate that licenses content nationally, produced the 56-page insert called “Heat Index: Your Guide to the Best of Summer,” which also included things like summer foods and summer activity recommendations.  The journalist who wrote the piece, Marco Buscaglia, used AI to help create the reading list and unfortunately did not double check the work, so did not see the fake book titles attributed to real-live best-selling authors.  King Features did not fact check Marco's work (rookie mistake!).  The Chicago Sun and the Philly Inquirer did not double check the insert from King (another rookie mistake!).  The papers' readers alerted the papers to what was up (heroes!) and the papers issued apologies for the mistake. More importantly, Theo learns a new word this episode that he will never use again!

Cook lasagna noodles. While noodles are cooking, season raw beef to your liking. 2. Place parchment paper or wax paper down. Lay out raw ground beef flat and top with one layer of cooked noodles. Add ricotta mixture on top, then a handful of shredded mozzarella. 3. Add second layer of noodles and cheeses, then top with a final layer of noodles 4. Roll the meat up over itself into a log and smother with pasta sauce, mozzarella and parmesan, then cook at 375 for 50 minutes. 5. Garnish with parsley and parmesan on top Garlic Smashed Potatoes: * 1 ½ LBS Yukon gold potatoes * 2 TBS and ¾ tsp kosher salt * 4 TBS unsalted butter * 4 cloves grated garlic * 2 TBS chopped parsley * ¼ tsp black pepper 1. Heat oven to 500 2. Place potatoes in sauce pan, covering with cold water. Stir in 2 TBS salt and bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are very tender, then drain and set aside. 3. Place butter in empty sauce pan and melt. Add garlic, parsley, pepper, and remaining salt. The Penguin series on HBO and Max has been one of the most critically acclaimed comic book-based TV shows in years.
