What if prayer is more than words—it's where heaven meets earth? When we pray, “Our Father in heaven,” we step into intimacy with God, bold access to His throne, and a calling to carry His heart and intention into the world around us.

We don't just need better prayers—we need our Father. The Lord's Prayer reshapes our identity, aligns our hearts with His Kingdom, and teaches us to live with boldness, trust, and purpose.

As we prepare to enter forty days of fasting and prayer, this message invites us to lift our eyes toward God. We'll explore why fasting matters, how prayer draws us upward, and how meeting God reshapes our lives.

God is inviting us to open our hearts to Jesus, lay down our burdens, and walk in forgiveness, grace, and freedom. Hear what our youth students and youth pastor shared at this past Sunday's Youth Takeover.

Stumbling blocks can hinder both our own faith and the faith of others. This message calls us to fix our eyes on Christ and choose to be building blocks who strengthen one another in love.

Every life moves to a rhythm shaped by what we believe about God. From Proverbs 21, this message invites us to trust God's sovereignty, examine our worldview, and choose wisdom that leads to righteous, generous, and God-honouring lives.

Following Jesus is not a moment, but a direction we walk together. As we seek God first, His Kingdom reshapes our hearts and lives, forming in us a life marked by righteousness, peace, and joy.

As we step into a new year, we're invited to set the tone by choosing faith over fear and focus over distraction. Grounded in God's promise to do more than we could ask or imagine, this message encourages us to trust His leading, believe again, and move forward with hope and expectation.

As we wrap up our Christmas series, we look at the journey of the wise men and what it means to respond to Jesus. This kind of love isn't afraid or passive, and it isn't just about what we know. It's a love that looks for truth, steps out in faith, and responds with genuine worship—one that changes us and points others to Christ.

Joseph and Mary's love for God—and for the child they were entrusted with—came at a real cost: reputation, comfort, security, and certainty. Yet in their obedience, we see a love that trusts God even when the price is high.

Zechariah's story in Luke 1:5–25 reveals a God who remembers—His people, His promises, and even long-forgotten prayers. Though the waiting was painful, God was working with perfect timing. What seemed impossible became a testimony of His faithfulness, reminding us that His love holds us steady until His purposes unfold.

True hospitality welcomes the stranger, leans into God's empowering grace, and takes initiative to pursue those who feel unseen. This message invites us to open our lives the same way God has opened His to us.

Life brings moments that feel too heavy to carry alone. But God surrounds us with His comfort and places people beside us. Today, let's open our hearts to receive that comfort—and be ready to extend it to those who need it.

True community always comes with a cost. As we remember those who sacrificed for our freedom, we're invited to follow Christ in surrender — setting aside comfort, control, and convenience to love God and one another with depth and devotion.

Life with others isn't always easy, but when we walk with Jesus, He teaches us harmony—the beauty of living as one. Join us this Sunday as we continue Life with One Another.

We've all been hurt, misunderstood, or taken advantage of—but what we do with that hurt matters. God calls us to respond with kindness and forgiveness, choosing His way instead of bitterness. With His help, we can speak life, let go of the past, and live in freedom.

Today, we welcome municipal election candidates from Morinville and Sturgeon County as we reflect on God's design for leadership — that true leadership is servanthood. Together, we're reminded to honour, support, and pray for those who serve our communities.

This Thanksgiving, twenty-one people took the step of faith through the waters of baptism — leaving the old life behind and stepping into the new. Join us as we celebrate stories of freedom, transformation, and the miracle of new life in Jesus.

What breaks down community? Last week we talked about the power of our words—gossip, murmuring, and slander. This week we're looking at deeper heart issues like pride, greed, bitterness, and living only for ourselves. These things pull us away from each other, but God's Word shows us a better way—humility, generosity, forgiveness, and love that build real community.

Sept 21 2025 Damaging Community part 1 Pastor Greg Fraser by The Father's House Church Morinville

In this opening message of our new series, Pastor Greg shows how the Trinity—the Father, Son, and Spirit in perfect love—models what true community looks like. We were created for relationship, redeemed through Christ, and called to live as one with God and one another.

This week Pastor Greg takes us through the story of our church family—how it began in a small Bible study in 1980, the challenges and miracles along the way, and the joy of celebrating five years in our building. It's a reminder of how God has been at work through the years, and how we can keep “working while we wait” for what He has next.

Aug 24 2025 Freedom From Envy Pastor Stacey Sampson by The Father's House Church Morinville

Lust is one of those battles we don't often talk about—but most people fight it. It's sneaky, destructive, and everywhere. The good news? It doesn't have to win. Jesus came to break chains and set you free. There's hope, healing, and a future worth running toward.

Wrath is more than getting angry—it's anger that's been left to grow, harden, and seek revenge. This week, we'll look at the difference between healthy, God-given anger and the destructive pull of wrath, and how Scripture calls us to trade it for the fruit of the Spirit—learning to forgive, let go, and respond with patience, peace, and self-control.

Aug 03 2025 Freedom from Sloth Pastor Skylar Falardeau by The Father's House Church Morinville

Gluttony isn't just about food—it's about anything we turn to for comfort, satisfaction, or escape. From bingeing media to shopping sprees, we live in a culture of overindulgence. But the answer isn't just more willpower—it's a heart re-centered on Christ.

Why is it so hard to feel like we have enough? In today's message, Pastor Hayward talks about the pull of greed, how it shows up in our lives, and what Jesus teaches about living with contentment and generosity. If you've ever felt stuck in the cycle of always wanting more, this message is for you.

Pride has a way of getting in the way—of our relationships, our peace, and even our walk with God. But Jesus shows us a better way. This Sunday, we're talking about humility: what it really looks like, how it brings us closer to God, and how it changes the way we see others (and ourselves).

We all face the pull of sin—pride, anger, envy, and more. But the good news is, we don't have to stay stuck there. Through Christ, we can move from struggle to strength. This summer at TFH, we're diving into the seven deadly sins and how God gives us the power to overcome.

As we celebrate Canada this week, we're also reminded that the greatest nation we belong to is God's joyful nation — the Church. Despite the hardships of life, we've been chosen, called out of darkness, and invited into His wonderful light. As citizens of His Kingdom, we get to live with purpose, offer our lives in worship, and let the joy of knowing God shine for the world to see. If you're longing for that joy, we'd love to help you find your way home.

Joy isn't just for the good days — it's meant to be part of the whole journey. You were created in joy by a God who delights in you, carried by His joy through all of life's ups and downs, and destined for a future full of joy with Him. No matter where life finds you right now, there's joy woven into your story

This Father's Day, we're hearing from a daughter. Pastor Stacey opens up about her story—some of the pain she walked through with her dad, and the healing she's found in her relationship with God. It's an honest, joy-filled message about the kind of Father God is, how Jesus related to Him, and how we can too.

Today's message explores how godly friendships bring strength, encouragement, and joy in life's battles. Learn what the Bible says about being a friend, choosing friends wisely, and reflecting Jesus in every relationship.

Joy isn't about pretending everything's fine—it's about discovering strength in Jesus when life gets hard. This message from Philippians unpacks how to find real, lasting joy by learning to accept what you can't control, adapt with grace, and anchor your life in Christ.

June 01 Send Me Pastor Greg Fraser by The Father's House Church Morinville

The story of Jesus touches every part of our lives—tragedy, comedy, adventure, and ultimately, rebirth. Baptism marks the moment we step into that story, leaving the old behind and rising into the new.

You can't always know what God is doing by looking at just one generation. God is known as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That's why a good woman—or a good man—leaves an inheritance to their children and grandchildren. We may not finish everything we think we're supposed to do, but we can still make sure we lay a strong foundation for our children to build on.

Have you ever wondered how you can reach your friends and neighbours for Christ? It doesn't just happen by accident—you're part of the story! And the good news? It's simpler than you might think. Join us this Sunday as we talk about the difference you can make when you step into the story God is writing.

The disciples thought it was over. But the empty tomb changes everything. Join us as we see how Jesus restores hope — and restores us — even when we think we've blown it.

Easter isn't just a moment—it's an open door into the Kingdom of God. In this message, we explore why the resurrection of Jesus is such good news today, and how His presence brings peace, joy, healing, and hope.

It might sound strange—calling Jesus the Lamb of God. But on Good Friday, we take a closer look at why that title changes everything. From ancient sacrifices to the cross and beyond, this message shows how the Lamb flips our view of power, love, and what it really means to follow Jesus. It's not just about believing—it's about surrender, trust, and a whole new way to live.

Palm Sunday is all about hope showing up in the most unexpected way—a King on a donkey. While the world looks for power and quick fixes, Jesus offers something better: peace, purpose, and a Kingdom that changes hearts.

In a culture flooded with opinions, headlines, and self-made realities, Jesus claims something radical: “I am the Truth.” This Sunday we'll unpack why truth matters, how we've drifted into a post-truth world, and what it means to build your life on the foundation of God's unshakable truth.

This Sunday, we're looking at Jesus' heartfelt prayer in John 17—the night before He died. It shows what mattered most to Him: living for God's glory, serving others, staying united, finding joy in tough times, and holding on to God's truth.

Though Jesus is no longer with us in person, He has not left us alone. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, and Advocate—strengthening, guiding, and reminding us of the truth. This message will help you understand what it means to live in close relationship with the Spirit of God, and remind you that He is present with you—every moment of every day.

As Jesus prepared His disciples for His death, He revealed that what seemed like loss was actually great gain. His sacrifice opened the way for an eternal dwelling, a promised reunion, the presence of the Holy Spirit, adoption into God's family, and the hope of eternity.

In John 13, Jesus humbles Himself to wash His disciples' feet, showing that true greatness is found in servanthood. This message will challenge us to follow His example—serving with humility, trusting God's plan, and embracing our identity in Christ. We'll also share in communion as we remember His ultimate sacrifice.
