Under the old covenant, priests were commanded not to sweat—a prophetic picture that ministry was never meant to be fueled by human effort. Toil is the evidence we're still operating under the law.Jesus invites us into the abiding life, where His presence becomes the power behind everything we do. No striving. No proving. Just remaining in Him.Support the show

Born to Change the World | Week 1 | The "Problem" of Christmas | Pastor Tyler Sollie | Life Center Tacoma Genesis 1:1 (CSB) Genesis 3:7-9; 14-15 (CSB) Christmas is where God's DESIRE and our DILEMMA meet. The PROBLEM is REAL, but so is the SOLUTION. Romans 5:12; 18-19 (CSB) The HOPE we are looking for isn't found in SOMETHING; it is found in SOMEONE. John 1:1-5; 14 (CSB) Galatians 4:4-5 (CSB) How will we RESPOND?
When life feels chaotic, we often do what Herod did—fight for control, protect our comfort, and try to manufacture a peace that never lasts. But the magi show a different way. Their response to Jesus was surrender, worship, and trust, and in that surrender they found the peace their hearts were searching for.In this week's message, Pastor Tyler reminds us that peace doesn't come from managing outcomes or holding our world together. Peace comes from laying down our lesser kingdoms and receiving the gift Jesus came to bring. The Prince of Peace has arrived—and His peace is available to you.Questions for Reflection:• What area of your life are you trying to control or “keep together” in order to feel at peace?• What would it look like this week to surrender that area to Jesus and trust His kingdom over your own?
This Christmas season, Pastor Tyler invites you into a special Advent journey as we reflect on Hope, Joy, and Love—the beautiful gifts God gives us through Jesus. We pray this series encourages you, strengthens your faith, and fills your heart with the true meaning of Christmas.

In the final week of Rhythms, Pastor Tyler invites us to see our bodies the way God sees them: as holy places where His Spirit dwells. Instead of viewing our bodies only through frustration, insecurity, or the pressure to perform, Scripture reminds us that we were created in God's image, formed with purpose, and called to glorify Him with our whole selves.Your strengths and your limitations are not accidents, they are opportunities to worship the God who is shaping you from the inside out.Questions for Reflection:• How are you using your strengths to worship God?• How are you using your weaknesses to worship God?

In this episode, we dive into the often-overlooked call of the King's eunuchs—those who were entrusted with preparing the bride, guarding the inner courts, and stewarding what was sacred. From the story of Esther to the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 19 and the prophetic promise of Isaiah 56, there is a powerful thread of consecration, loyalty, and holiness. This isn't just historical—it's prophetic. In this hour, God is raising up modern-day eunuchs: leaders who don't touch the bride for personal gain, but prepare her for the return of the King. Voices who can be trusted with influence because they've surrendered their ambition. Hearts who know the King intimately and care more about proximity to His throne than popularity among the people. If you've been called to protect the purity of the Church, carry the burden of the Lord, or stand in intercession for a generation, this message is for you. The King is looking for those He can trust. Will you be one?Support the show

Ancient Wells - Pastor Tyler Gibbs by
In week four of Rhythms, Pastor Tyler invites us to slow down and honestly ask, “How's your soul?”Even Jesus withdrew from the crowds to spend time alone with the Father. In the same way, we're reminded that spiritual maturity requires moments of silence, solitude, and rest. Life with God isn't about doing more, it's about being with Him. When we learn to rest in God's presence, our souls find renewal and strength for the life He's called us to live.Questions for Reflection:How's your soul? What does rest with God look like for you right now? What's one way you can create more space for silence, solitude, or rest in your current season?
In this sermon, Pastor Tyler reflects on the incredible generosity and joy evident within the community. Sharing stories of transformation and commitment, he emphasizes the theme of choosing joy in the face of life's challenges, drawing inspiration from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Philippians. Tyler explores the concept of joyful partnership in the gospel, urging the congregation to see their role not as members of a church, but as active partners invested in its mission. He discusses the biblical significance of tithing and financial generosity, encouraging the community to trust God and prioritize giving as an act of worship. Through this message, Tyler calls the church to embrace a holistic, spirit-filled approach to life, rooted in generosity and contentment in Christ. Join us as we delve into the heart of joyful giving and explore how each of us can participate in the transformative work God is doing in our community.

Faith That Finds a WayReal faith doesn't wait for perfect conditions—it climbs, tears the roof off, and makes a way. In Mark 2, it wasn't the man's own strength that got him to Jesus—it was the faith of his friends. Who you're around matters. Are you surrounded by people who carry you closer to Jesus or keep you stuck on the mat? This message is a call to be a people of relentless faith—a community marked by belief, boldness, and breakthrough. When faith fills the room, ceilings break, healing flows, and Jesus sees your faith.Support the show

Friend of Sinners | Week 4 | The Heart of the Issue | Pastor Tyler Sollie | Life Center Tacoma There are two ways to experience distance: Self-serving ACTIONS and self-righteous ATTITUDES Jesus came to save those who are BROKEN BY REBELLION and those who are BLINDED BY RELIGION. Luke 15:1-2, 11, 23-32 (CSB) ACTIONS can take you to a distant LAND. ATTITUDES can keep you in a distant and defensive POSTURE. The Father PURSUES BOTH the BRING us in to His joy. "For certain types of people, grace is not only amazing, it is also infuriating." -Kenneth Bailey Proverbs 4:23 (CSB) What am I most ANGRY about? Ephesians 4:26-27 (CSB) Who do I currently RESENT that I haven't carried in PRAYER? Am I KEEPING SCORE - measuring my OBEDIENCE against others? 2 Corinthians 10:12 (NLT) Is there anyone I have already CUT OFF through CONDEMNATION? Is there an ATTITUDE in me that is creating DISTANCE? Your WORST days are never so BAD that you are outside of the REACH of God's grace. Your BEST days are never so GOOD that you are outside of the NEED of God's grace.
In week three of Rhythms, Pastor Tyler reminds us that life with God isn't just about talking to Him—it's about listening for His voice. God still speaks today through His Word, His Spirit, and His people. When we slow down long enough to listen, we discover that Scripture isn't just ancient text—it's living and active, shaping our hearts and guiding our steps in every season of life.Questions for Reflection:• What does it mean to you that God says His Word is living and active?• After this message, how well do you feel like you're listening to God? Why?

It's a call to stand in the gap, rebuild the altar, and carry the fire of reformation into this generation. This is your moment. Rise and reform.Support the show
