What if one of the greatest treasures in life is closer than we think? In this message from the Greater series, Pastor David Uth reminds us that real joy is found in giving our time, our resources, and our lives to serve others. Drawing from the words of Jesus that it is more blessed to give than to receive, this message shows how serving opens doors for meaningful conversations, deepens our compassion, and allows our faith to flow outward like a river. As we look at examples from Scripture and stories of those who have gone before us, we're invited to discover how everyday acts of service can transform our community and point people toward hope. This message encourages us to step into a life of greater purpose by loving our neighbors and meeting needs in practical ways that truly make a difference. (02/22/2026)

In Week 3 of our Airplane Mode series, Pastor Kim Hoyt reminds us that practicing presence does not mean isolating ourselves. Airplane Mode is not about disconnecting from people, it is about disconnecting from the noise so we can reconnect with what matters most. This message is a heartfelt invitation back into church community, even if you have been hurt before. Pastor Kim shares parts of her story and shows how God has consistently used people to bring hope, healing, provision, and direction. From Genesis to Jesus to the early church, community is not a modern church strategy, it is God's design from the beginning. You will hear why spiritual growth is not meant to happen in isolation, how God often speaks through others, and how community becomes formation, not just attendance. If you have felt alone, weary, or hesitant to trust church again, this message is for you.www.thejourneychurch.cc
Christians are not meant to live for God on their own, but in community. For that community to function as designed by God, it must strive for its full potential with a radical approach and a united goal unlike anything else in this world.

In Week 2 of the Messy series at Cherry Hills Community Church, Pastor Curt Taylor unpacks the challenge and beauty of biblical community. Looking at Jesus' intentional choice of very different disciples, Pastor Curt shows how true unity is only possible through Christ. Community is often uncomfortable and messy, but as Romans 12 teaches, we are called to love one another like family and “outdo one another in showing honor.” This message invites us to enter authentic relationships and honor others, not because they deserve it, but because of what Jesus has done for us.
Community: Week 1 - Community / Pastor Jeff Bowman by Hope City Church
1. Restore the fallen with gentleness - We need to be reminded that the church is not a museum for perfect people - We cannot ignore sin - We need gentleness - We need to be reminded that the work of restoration is gospel work 2. Carry the weight – don't let people be crushed alone - Look around, not just within - Step in even when it's messy - Be willing to be carried 3. Keep sowing even when it feels slow - Watch what you plant - Keep sowing even when it feels small - Trust God

This Sunday, Pastor Brandon reminded us that God places people in our lives for different purposes—sometimes for a reason, sometimes for a season, and sometimes for a lifetime. No matter the length, every relationship has value, and we were created to live life in community not alone. At Venture, we believe church isn't just a service you attend—it's a chosen family you belong to. Whether you're here for a reason, a season, or a lifetime, you matter. You're seen. You're loved.
God's mission is for us to share the Gospel and meet the needs of our communities. On Life Group Celebration Sunday, Pastor Dana shows how God sends us with His power—just as He sent Paul—to make a difference where we live, work and gather.Sermon Discussion Guide: https://kingspark.org/guide/aug1725

In week 5 of the Wisdom for Dummies series at Cherry Hills Community Church, Pastor Curt Taylor spoke on the dangers of temptation and the value of community. Working through Proverbs, he explores how easily we can be drawn toward harmful choices when we listen to the wrong influences. It emphasized the importance of surrounding ourselves with people who encourage wisdom and integrity. The sermon encouraged listeners to consider the voices shaping their lives and the role discipleship plays in resisting temptation. Ultimately, it's a call to pursue wisdom, accountability, and connection in our faith journey.
