We want to Teach Others to Teach Others.
Do you know people who will not forgive no matter what happens? Jesus mentioned we need to forgive our debts, which can be sin. This is not just forgiveness from Him. We need to forgive others who have wronged us, too. Jesus so freely died for our sins, and forgave us, because He loves us so much. We are commanded to love others, even if they are still unkind to us. Tricia's devotional is about having our debt of sin cancelled and releasing our grip on others.
Have you ever felt you have no purpose in life? So you feel you are aimlessly wandering about? There is good news. Everyone has a purpose with God. He knew you before the world began, and He placed special gifts and talents into each one of us. You are unique in every way. When yo are walking with God, you can live up to your potential He created for just you. Marcus and Tricia want to tell you the good news of how special you are to God.
Have you ever wondered why Jesus gave the example of how to start a prayer? He wanted the people to know the importance of beginning with giving honor to God. God is holy and we must not be disrespectful with coming with requests. This was a guideline Jesus was giving the people, because they didn't know how to pray. Keep in mind, this was before Jesus' death. Now we have a personal relationship with God and can speak more freely. It is important to know there is no wrong way to pray from your heart. Marcus shares this devotional about the importance of starting off the respectful way when coming to God.
Do you ever feel like you want, what you want, when you want it? We all want things to go our way, but that may not be God's will for our lives. As hard as it may be, God's will is far better for us than we can imagine. We need to invite Him in to work in our lives. Marcus explains further in this encouraging devotional.
Have there been times you said, “No” to God? We may feel that way, but it is usually not in our best interest. Join John on his exciting and emotional journey through the consequences of his, “No!” We hope you enjoy and learn from today's audio drama. All song were created at www.suno.com
Teaser for Radio Drama titled "No, I Won't" to be released this Wednesday.
How does your fruit look? Is it abundant and full, or small and falling to the ground? Our great friend, Jake, is going to speak about how to bear, not just good fruit, but ABUNDANT fruit. It is not always easy, but God gives us the knowledge of how to stay continually in Him. Please let us know what you thought about today's lesson. We would love to have Jake back anytime. Thanks for listening! Don't forget to visit Jakes's sculpting website at www.griggssculpting.com
What have you been thankful for lately? Some of us may be walking through trials. It may be easy to get upset and not appreciate what we have. We can get focused on what we are lacking, and forget to be grateful for all God has done in our lives. Even the air we breathe is a miracle. When we start thanking God for things, we become people full of gratitude. Please share some of the reasons or miracles you are grateful for in your life, either in the past or present. Email us at themessengersradio@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
What do you have faith in? Some people trust in their finances, jobs, or securities they think they have, but can be lost quickly. We need to put our faith in God. He is the only One who can help us in our times of trouble. We should have faith that He loves us and only wants the best for us. When we trust in Him, we will be blessed, even when we go through hard trials. God never leaves us alone. Marcus describes more about faith in this audio devotion.
Are you hungry, but can't seem to feel satisfied? God is the only One who can really help us get the nourishment we need. Feeding on Him and His Word daily will give us all the nutrition required to fill us. We shouldn't be Spiritually anemic. We can gorge ourselves on God and be filled continually. Tricia speaks about this concept in today's devotional. Enjoy!
If you are expecting something good, do you wait for it eagerly? We get excited when we know we are going to get a good thing. Whether it is a package in the mail, a visit from a loved one, or anything else that will lift our spirits, we can joyfully wait. Since we know Jesus is coming back sometime, we should eagerly wait for the time He comes. Marcus gives deeper insight into this truth. Enjoy!
Do you ever feel like you want to do something for God, but you are not sure where to start? Asking God what we need to do is always helpful. In the Bible, Jesus gives us an example of ways to help others. Marcus goes through scripture to show where we can begin to do the work God asks of us..
James Chapter 4 addresses issues of worldliness, pride, and submission to God. It begins by discussing the source of conflicts and quarrels among people, attributing them to selfish desires and covetousness. James warns that asking God with wrong motives will not lead to answered prayers. Follow Along in your bible with Marcus as he walks you through his favorite chapter of the Book of James.
Do ever feel only negative emotions? Sometimes anger, sadness, hurt, or any number or feelings can well up inside us and try to take permanent residence. In this devotional, Tricia explains how you can have joy even in hard times. You can reach out to The Messengers on their website, www.themessengersradio.com, or email them at themessengersradio@gmail.com. We are here to help when we can. God bless you.
We are doing some short audio devotionals. Today we talk about edifying each other. The church is not a building. It is comprised of all believers. Join Tricia as she discusses edification of others.
Have you ever heard someone just boast about the things they have done? They may not acknowledge that it was truly God who helped give them those achievements. People can also look back at things they have lost and put more importance on them than God. We all need to look to God and ask for His help. When He does, we must give Him all the credit and honor for all we have. We can look forward to an amazing future when we trust in God. Marcus and Tricia invite you to join all the fun with personal examples and stories from the Bible. God bless you!
It's easy to look at the people in the Bible and judge them for doing the wrong things. We must remember, they were people, just like us. They may not have started out sinning against God, but ended up that way from not listening to what He asked them to do. We need to look deep in our hearts, because there are times we miss the mark, too. We may start out doing something for God but end up way off the path He wants us to be traveling. When we truly examine our lives, we may be surprised at what we find. Marcus and Tricia ask you to join in the conversation about how little steps can lead to big problems. BTW, it's Burger King, not McDonalds.
Does it seem like everything is coming against you all at once? Sometimes we go through hard trials, but we don't have to go through them alone. We cannot do anything right without God's help. We can try to force our way through, but it will be painstaking and harder than it needs to be. Marcus and Tricia invite you to listen and learn from their years of experience.
Have you ever felt unloved? People can let us down, but God never will. He LOVES us more than we can even imagine. There are no words that can precisely describe how God feels about us. We may have had a bad experience with someone in our past, but God will always love us. In fact, there is nothing we can do to stop or intensify His love for us. Join Marcus and Tricia as they read words from God straight to you. Enjoy the fun!
Do you find it hard to hear God's voice? We must be able to get still in His presence to really understand what He is saying. Being still doesn't just mean no physical movement. It is something that we must be able to do with our Spirits. Marcus and Tricia give some tips on how to be still with God. With funny personal examples and lessons, they invite you to have fun as you learn with them.
Did you know that you were chosen by God? Many don't know what that means but He has chosen each of us to have a close relationship with Him. Today, Marcus and Tricia talk about some scriptures that show how God chose people to do amazing things. We hope that you enjoy this episode of The Messengers.

Do you ever feel worn out when doing something for God? If so, you might want to seek Him on what you should be doing. Sometimes God has us do a certain act for a season in our lives. Do you ever feel you have to go to God because someone else said you must? That is not what God desires at all. He wants you to choose to have a relationship with Him. The letter of the law says you must do something only in a certain way. The spirit of the law is the reason behind why you are doing the acts. Someone may try to force you to offer something to God. He would rather have a little with a pure heart, than a lot begrudgingly. Marcus and Tricia ask you to join the fun as this topic becomes clearer.
It is exciting to hear a word from God. Sometimes, though, we don't stop to listen to everything He is saying. We may take a small part and try to force things to go our way. We mistakenly believe we have it under control when we are supposed to put God in control. Come listen to how Elizabeth learned this lesson the hard way. Enjoy!
Do you feel life is endlessly boring? Maybe you feel as if you have done everything wrong and you will never be able to fix it. Good news, you can always start fresh with God. Knowing our identity in Christ is so important. God has a message He has laid on Tricia's heart concerning this topic. It is true for men, but she relates more with women through her experiences. Most of her audience is women in groups and conferences. The main point is that we can lose our focus on God and how special we are to Him. Tricia takes the listener through scripture to see how God feels about us. She shares her testimony of painful diseases, anxiety, self-harm, anorexia, and much more. We can learn from Tricia's past experiences and see how worthy we all are to God. Please listen with an open heart to hear what God is saying to you. There is information at the end of this teaching if you are interested in hosting her for your event. God bless you!

She was suicidal at the age of 16 and on further into her adult life, God stopped her each time and brought her to a reality of what true separation from Him really is. She shares, how with God's help, she overcame these obstacles in her life and come out on top, leaving the enemy and his schemes to take her life behind.
