Interview with John Jentz, CEO of Latitude UraniumOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/latitude-uranium-cselur-why-the-future-looks-bright-for-uranium-in-nunavut-3448Recording date:26th September 2023Latitude Uranium Inc. (CSE:LUR | OTCQB:LURAF | FRA:EI1) is a Canadian uranium exploration company with a focus on district scale projects in Canada. The company has two main assets:The flagship Angilak Project located in Nunavut, which hosts a historical inferred resource of 43.3 million pounds U3O8 at an average grade of 0.69% U3O8. Recent drill results from the 2023 exploration program have intersected high-grade uranium mineralization including up to 21,000 counts per second on the Lac 50 Trend. Hole 18 discovered two new wide intercepts of 41 metres and 21 metres below historical drilling, opening up resource expansion potential. The Central Mineral Belt (CMB) Project in Labrador with historical resources at the Moran Lake and Anna Lake deposits. The large 152,865 hectare land package covers a significant portion of the prospective belt, which also hosts the Michelin uranium deposit. Airborne surveys were completed in 2022 to identify and prioritize targets.Latitude Uranium is focused on expanding the known high-grade mineralization at Angilak in the near-term, while also evaluating the district-scale potential. At the CMB project, compilation of the extensive historical data using modern techniques is underway to delineate drill targets. The company is well funded with approximately $3 million in cash. With uranium demand growth forecasted as part of the global energy transition and looming supply shortages, Latitude Uranium offers leverage to the upside in the uranium market through expanding and discovering district-scale projects in top ranked mining jurisdictions.View Latitude Uranium's Company Profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/latitude-uranium

In this week's MBA Admissions podcast we began by discussing the upcoming Round 1 deadlines for this new season, which kicks off with Cambridge / Judge this week. Graham then highlighted several events that Clear Admit is hosting over the next month. Later today, we are hosting our monthly CA+ webinar, that is open to all registered members of the Clear Admit community. This webinar will cover preparation for the forthcoming Round 1 application deadlines. We also have a Real Humans webinar, on August 30th, which includes alumni and students from Chicago / Booth, NYU / Stern, Yale SOM and Berkeley / Haas. Signups are here: https://bit.ly/rhwebinar5. Graham then highlighted three Adcom Q&As, where we interview admissions directors at CMU / Tepper, Oxford / Said and London Business School. We then had a discussion on Emory / Goizueta's new Masters in Management program, which offers graduating seniors a direct pathway to their graduate management studies. We are seeing this trend develop, as Goizueta follows Chicago / Booth with this move. Graham also noted the recently published admissions tips on when to apply (Round 1 versus Round 2) and the value of nurturing advocates in the MBA admissions process. As usual, for the candidate profile review portion of the show, Alex selected three ApplyWire entries: This week's first MBA admissions candidate is from Peru, and has an outstanding GMAT score of 770. They also appear to have very strong work experience, both in Peru and now in the United States. Their goals make sense. One weaker spot might be their extra-curricular activities, but we still think they are a very strong candidate, overall. This week's second MBA candidate also has very strong numbers, with a 750 GMAT score and 3.85 Engineering and Math degree. They work in tech, and outside of work they do several activities which include music and tax preparation. All around, they appear to also be a strong candidate. The final MBA candidate is a former professional ballerina who has now gone on to establish a strong marketing career. Their one weak spot is a GRE score of 300. We are really hoping they wait until Round 2, and prep hard to get a GRE score that better reflects their academic potential. With a strong GRE score, they would be a very compelling candidate for top programs. This episode was recorded in Philadelphia, PA and Cornwall, England. It was produced and engineered by the fabulous Dennis Crowley in Philadelphia, USA. Thanks to all of you who've been joining us and please remember to rate and review this show wherever you listen!

LEADERS WITH GREAT POTENTIAL BECOME TARGETS OF THE CONQUERERS “Leaders are generational. Leadership style has its own DNA, nature, residue and fingerprint. When potential is evident in the leaders in training which would make them a threat to an outside competitor, that potential makes them a target. The rulers who want to unseat you will do everything in their power to derail and replace everything you have deposited in them. It is the only way to captivate the potential leader's energy and prevent their return to your worldview. By the way this is a centuries old strategy which has been successful almost every time.” J Loren Norris Watch the video Leading Leaders Podcast 1-24-23: http://www.jlorennorris.com/podcast/leaders-with-great-potential-become-targets-of-the-conquerers Leading Leaders Podcast for Tell It Like It Is TV CLICK HERE for the FREE StoryPower Assessment - https://form.jotform.com/222696275293163 --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/j-loren-norris/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/j-loren-norris/support

Hank Hanegraaff, president of the Christian Research Institute and host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast, shares and celebrates the wonderful story of Elise, frozen embryo Snowflake #94, who is now 16 years of age. A couple named Eric and Kris heard Hank answering a question on the Bible Answer Man broadcast about the status of an embryo. Human life begins when one sperm cell from one human being fertilizes an egg in another human being. The forming embryo does not have a fully developed personality but does have full personhood from the moment of conception—and bears the imago Dei. Kris and Eric decided that they would adopt a frozen embryo! The frozen embryo arrived via Fed-Ex and was implanted in Kris's uterus and was brought to full term. Hank had the privilege of meeting Elise when she was a baby—and now she is 16! A truly amazing story. Glory to God! Listen to Hank talk more about Elise's story on the Bible Answer Man broadcast, https://www.equip.org/video/embryo-adoption/. Thank you for listening to our Finding Brave show, ranked in the Top 100 Apple Career Podcasts! “Self-pity is when you exaggerate how bad your life is. When you start to get helpless, hopeless, and you think there's no hope and life can never get better, you dig in your heels and stay stuck. So if you say you are going to work on not feeling sorry for yourself, instead say that you're going to work on gratitude. That's one really simple way to start changing your life and building mental muscle.” - Amy Morin As we approach the end of another year, once again I'll be sharing my “Holiday Picks” selections, featuring some of the top Finding Brave episodes that have previously aired, to help you enter 2022 with even more bravery and motivation to pursue your goals. In today's episode, I bring you one of our most popular episodes, which featured a conversation on what you can start doing right now to change the way you think, train your brain to work for you (not against you), and to build the mental strength that you need to reach your greatest potential. Amy Morin is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and psychology lecturer at Northeastern University. She's also an international bestselling author of four books, including 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do (translated into more than 40 languages), 13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do, and 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don't Do and her latest, 13 Things Strong Kids Do. The Guardian dubbed her “the self-help guru of the moment” and Forbes calls her a “thought leadership star.” Her TEDx talk, The Secret of Becoming Mentally Strong, is one of the most popular talks of all time with close to 20 million views. She is editor-in-chief of Very Well Mind and a regular contributor to Forbes, Business Insider, and Psychology Today, with articles on mental strength reaching more than 2 million readers every month. Her advice for building mental strength has been featured by major media outlets, including Fox News, CNN, Oprah.com, Today, Good Morning America, Success, Business Insider, Time, and the Hallmark Channel. In this episode Amy shares her framework for learning to control your emotions and take positive actions, which will result in you taking back your power. Amy is someone who is not only inspirational as a wonderful therapist, but as a writer and influencer in the way that she crafts her messages, which is why I'm so excited to bring you this conversation with her today. Interestingly, we recorded this well before the global pandemic hit, but each insight that Amy shares can be used today, to help us cope and even thrive through these very trying times. In this episode, we chat to Shaun Bunn, Managing Director of Empire Metals who is an AIM-listed exploration and resource development company with a multi-commodity project portfolio comprising gold and copper interests in Australia, Georgia, and Austria. With a metallurgy background, Shaun has over 35 years of industry experience in technical and executive management positions working across many jurisdictions including Australia, Africa, and Europe and has recently taken up the hot seat with Empire Metals and will give us an overview of the company and its prospects. KEY TAKEAWAYS Empire Metals have just acquired the Central Menzies gold prospect. Over a million ounces have already been pulled from that area. Empire Metals has a particularly strong and experienced board. The explosion of mining in the WA area is beneficial has created additional issues. There are shortages of drilling rigs and skilled labour in Australia. Both challenges take time and planning to overcome. CoVid is still making the labour shortage harder to solve. The shortage of construction workers is a huge issue for those building new facilities. Empire Metals are planning to build up a portfolio of projects to extend their base and protect themselves from market changes. They are particularly looking at those projects that will generate cash flow. The project flow rate within the WA market is gathering momentum. New science and technologies are uncovering new deposits in old mining areas and making exploiting them viable. The plan is to exploit their current tenant base, which has huge potential, rather than overstretch themselves. That includes the Eclipse project. BEST MOMENTS ‘we've got a strong, well-balanced board. ´ ‘the shortage of construction workers is going to impact the mining industry.' ‘there are large areas of Western Australia, particularly in the Eastern goldfields, that are under-explored.' In this week's episode, Peyton Smith and Greg Puskuldjian join Greg at the Stripe, the two newest faceoff specialists in the PLL. Being the only faceoff specialist selected in this year's college draft, Peyton Smith feels primed and ready for the Championship Series. Although he will be facing off with some of the best players in the world, he's used to being an underdog and relishes in proving people wrong. Hailing from Raleigh North Carolina, Peyton has always played with a chip on his shoulder after being overlooked by Division 1 schools simply because he was from the south. To counter that, Smith has sent his offseason training into overdrive and packed on healthy weight knowing he will need incredible strength facing off with the Redwoods first four opponents in group play, especially with a condensed training camp. No stranger to professional lacrosse, Greg Puskuldjian is looking forward to not only being reunited with so many of his friends and former teammates but also his college coach, Nat St. Laurent. Greg says playing with the PLL faceoff rules will be an adjustment but it's nothing he can't handle. All eyes will be on these two PLL rookies heading into the championship series as the Redwoods are the only PLL team to have fresh faces at the stripe. Gruenlian is coining them the underdogs with all the talent in the world and he's excited to watch them shock some people during the Championship Series. Greg Gurenlian, widely considered the greatest faceoff man of all time, has traded in his pads for a mic this summer. Leveraging his experience on the field, coaching expertise and media savvy, Gurenlian will bring a new era of coverage to the position that he's helped pioneer. In The Stripe, Greg will chat with the top faceoff athletes in the sport, breakdown matchups, and analyze game performances. Please rate and review and leave a question you'd like us to ask an athlete on future shows. Let us know your favorite bits from the episode by tagging Greg at @GregBeast32. Enjoy the show!
Why aren't we living to our great potential? I've thought of 5 reasons. Also, I'm sharing my poem “Today is the day”
Avi Bar-Zeev has been a pioneer, architect and advisor in spatial computing for nearly 30 years, both behind the scenes at the world’s largest tech companies, and in the industry at large. In early 2010, he helped found and invent the HoloLens at Microsoft, developing the first prototypes, demos, patents, plans and UX concepts. At Bing, he built the first prototypes for developer-facing aspects of AR, which we now call the "AR cloud." At Amazon, he helped launch PrimeAir and worked on the Echo Frame glasses.More recently he helped Apple advance its own “undisclosed” projects. Early in his career, he worked on novel VR experiences for Disney, including "Aladdin's Magic Carpet" VR Ride.In this, the second of two parts of our conversation, Avi suggests what the industry needs to do to give ourselves the best future, as well as some of the challenges we face, which are compounded by certain business models. He cautions we should be ready to reject companies and products that aren’t trustworthy. He goes on to describe why he’s hopeful about the potential for AR and what he’d do with a giant pile of money within this industry. You can find all of the show notes at thearshow.com.
Over the past decade—and especially in the last year—the Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama has swiftly risen to become one of the most prominent African voices in art. At age 32, he has already exhibited at the Biennale of Sydney, on Cockatoo Island (his work “No Friend But the Mountains” is currently on view there through June 8, though that date may change because of the coronavirus pandemic), as well as at the 2019 Frieze Sculpture presentation at Rockefeller Center in New York and the Ghana Pavilion at the 2019 Venice Biennale. He’s created large-scale public installations around the world, including in Milan (with the Trussardi Foundation, also in 2019) and Athens (during Documenta 14, in 2017). Mahama’s work has also been shown at the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester (also in 2019), the Norval Foundation in Cape Town (yet again in 2019), and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University (2015). He is represented by the highly respected White Cube gallery. The Africa Report, a Paris-based news magazine that focuses on African politics and economics, recently named Mahama one of the 100 most influential Africans today. In addition to his art-making, he is the founder of an artist-run nonprofit cultural institution and exhibition space, the Savannah Center for Contemporary Art (SCCA), which opened a year ago (yes, also in 2019) in Tamale, a city in the north of Ghana.Central to Mahama’s inspiration is a specific material: jute sacks. Working with a team of collaborators to repurpose the burlap bags, which are traditionally used to transport cocoa beans, he sews together installations that range from wall- or room-size to monumental, often draping the fabric on, around, and over prominent architectural sites. Though his pieces have often been compared to the “wrap” work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude, that is not necessarily an apt analogy, or at least it’s just a surface-level one. While similar in scale and scope to Christo’s ambitious environmental artworks, Mahama’s creations, like his overall practice, are socially oriented and focused on concerns such as labor, migration, globalization, and economic exchange. On this episode of Time Sensitive, Mahama discusses with Spencer his fascination with jute sacks as a material; his views on “Ghanaian time” and Africa’s global influence; his unorthodox upbringing (he grew up among nine siblings and with a polygamous father who had four wives, and was sent to boarding at age 5); and his dreams for the SCCA.

UPDATED: FindBiometrics and Mobile ID World have spent the recent weeks focusing on new identity technologies in healthcare, and how biometrics can enhance patient ID, electronic health records, and even diagnosis. That focus on healthcare was in preparation for the 2020 HIMSS Conference in Orlando, which since the original publication of this podcast has been cancelled due to concerns around the COVID-19 Coronavirus. FindBiometrics was scheduled to host an expert fireside chat about mobile ID in the healthcare sector, moderated by FindBometrics President Peter O'Neill and featuring a special guest: Tim Brown, IDEMIA's Senior Director of Technology and Chief Technologist for Digital Identity in North America. This episode was initially intended as a preview of that chat, but it can also be heard as a standalone episode about this fascinating intersection of identity and healthcare. ID Talk's interview with Tim Brown starts off with an introduction to IDEMIA's mobile ID solution and the technology and standards that make it possible, before moving on to the specific ways it can be deployed in healthcare. He talks about patient ID, ePrescriptions, and telemedicine before speculating on the future of a mobile ID empowered healthcare landscape. It's a fascinating conversation, and a great way to keep the healthcare ID discourse rolling in lieu of HIMSS. Beware of these Signs! 4 Things YOU Should Know About Your Crisis An Assortment Childhood, Adolescence, Quarter-Life or Mid-Life Crisis are just a few crises that can be mentioned. Everyone goes through Crisis in their Lifetime. For some reason, the mind seems to set “Perfection" or (perceived perfection) as the mythical standard. "The Human Embryo: Potential Person or Person with Great Potential?" (Volume 40 #3, 2017) with Clinton Wilcox
People use the word potential in many different ways. A child can show potential when it comes to having sports or musical aptitude. If a speaker gives a presentation without being adequately prepared, there is the potential for disaster. However, in philosophy, potential is a technical term, and it is not as simple as one might expect. An oak sapling has the potential to become a mature oak tree, and it has the potential to become a house. But each of these senses of the word potential is different and has real world application to debates in bioethics. Some prochoice advocates try to argue that human embryos are not persons but are potential persons. In this view, embryos are biological members of the human species, but they have not yet reached the developmental milestone necessary for grounding their identity as persons. However, calling the human embryo a potential person is misguided. A common idea is that living things are constructed piece by piece from the outside, when, in fact, they develop from within themselves. To say that a human embryo is a potential person is misguided because it fails to take into account the fact that the reason the embryo eventually will become an adult is because she is a human being with a human nature, and it is this nature that directs her development as a human being. As she has a rational, volitional nature, she will develop all of the present capacities to perform personal activities. Human embryos are not potential persons they are actual persons with potential. This podcast episode is a conversation with author Clinton Wilcox as he answers questions about his article The Human Embryo Potential Person or Person with Great Potential?

Doctors may soon be able to cure more cancers with immunotherapy, thanks to new technologies to fight malignant tumors. Wendell Lim, a molecular scientist at the University of California, San Francisco, has designed smart immune T-cells that he says now more than ever have a better chance to defeat the disease. "That’s where I think this idea that we really have to attack the problem from two sides. We really have to provide T-cells that can effectively recognize and kill the cancers, as well as ways to counteract immunosuppression." Immunotherapy has shown some success in treating melanoma and lung cancers, but solid tumors - the majority of cancers – are still a challenge. “The immune system has this kind of potential. I'm pretty optimistic that our understanding and the tools that we have in immunotherapy are just really accelerating at a dramatic pace." The Food and Drug Administration may approve first therapies with engineered T-cells as early as this year.

Her live shows are a combination of acoustic guitar songs and chants to the God and Goddess. Brighid: "This is another song where the lyrics were written by Heidi Couture for an Imbolc gathering in February of 2002. I wrote the guitar part and again it was another perfect marriage! On the CD Laney Goodman adds some beautiful woodwind tracks and Tina Horn kicks in on the djembe." Learn more about Kellianna on her website or on her Contributor Page.
